Yeah John Dies at the End was pretty awesome. But it should be on the show. Because it does make me wonder how a studio greenlit this one... I'd love to hear what the three have to say about it.

Jordanna Brewster = dump truck.....Jason is the poet laureate of podcasting. Sorry Andy Daly. I don't know if anyone mentioned this before (too lazy to read the previous comments)...but if Nic Cage showed up in character from Gone in Sixty Seconds in the Fast 7 post credits I would crap your pants (yes yours!) and die a happy man...peace

Holy Shit that mash up was Bonkers...literally. This level of repetition blatantly screams for a drinking game. Don't become all self conscious and cut back on our HDTGM staples. I should have asked this in the Q&A, but any chance that you guys will have a vpn episode anytime soon?

It was a Super Nintendo magazine so it would have been the 90s -

I'm glad I waited til the end of the episode. I wasn't a big fan of Todd, I felt the character kept stepping on any set up that Nick or James tried. Sonic (PSH) raping Tails (Giamati) was so god damn hilarious and wrong. I wish this was a video episode cause I would have loved to see Adomian doing both characters in such a ridiculous premise. Also, as a nerd I appreciated Adomian calling out Todd for saying he saw Sonic in a Super Nintendo magazine. -
So it is surprising? I personally prefer the older movie episodes. The nostalgia factor on some are great (Mac and Me) and the abundance of glaringly low budget gems (sleepaway camp) are hard to match with current flicks. The bonkers quotient seems to be high on these ones too. It's amazing every time they bring up repressed memories of viewing these atrocities as a child.

I wish all the Daly/Mantzoukas episodes were on video. Watching Daly heel over in his chair when he has to break into laughter is great.

CBB (and all Earwolf?) VIDEO PODCASTS!! (this is actual news, not a suggestion!)

Scott, How are you adding more podcasts per week, new live stream episodes, and an ifc show? With this much CBB in my life...my sense of reality is questionable. Is everyone in life really just a character of a character? To quote Bret Easton Ellis "you do a pretty good impression of yourself". But I did miss the first few VPN episodes. Please let us know if they will be available soon. Abandon all faith ye who listen... -
I did find Nancy a little tiresome this week but mainly cause most of the material seemed to be a retread. I loved the character the first time but the bus discount, grandma in the tub and Charlie Brown's were much funnier before. Most of the repeat characters especially PFTs seem to try and go more over the top each visit. The absurdity and spontaneity of those risks are more rewarding. One of my favorite moments of the episode was Scott trying to get Nancy to repeat the entire countdown.

How did they skip danny trejo's classic comedic relief of christmas 2 and "it was on my credit card" in response to the hotel charges

I can hardly remember this movie from my childhood other than a real vague creepiness. For the longest time I thought my memories of this movie were just a nightmare that I couldn't shake until someone asked me about a movie from the eighties where they grow kids hair and had something to do with peanut butter. Do you know the scene in Mulholland Drive where they go behind the dumpster of the Denny's and see the homeless gypsy thing or whatever it is? His sense of dread and inevitability is as close to what I feel about watching this movie as an adult. I can hope things will be different but once my nightmares are again realized I will collapse and be haunted for another twenty plus years by the god damn peanut butter solution.
