It was bad, but I don't think it would make for a good episode. This wasn't so bad it was funny, it was just bad. Diaz gave the performance of her career, but even that couldn't save this convoluted story.

They really should have got Tiny Lister in to talk about his character motivation (as probably suggested to him by Vince) and what Hogan was like around the set as I'm sure he was really throwing his weight around since he was the star of the movie.

Yeah I own both the Monday Night Wars and Rise & Fall of WCW and neither really go into the later years of WCW, which I would have loved to see. In Rise & Fall it was more about Jim Crockett Promotions and early WCW, and a 90 minute documentary wasn't nearly enough to cover that promotions life. I wish it had been like the Rise & Fall of ECW which was a 3 hour documentary that was so in-depth it was incredible. -

Yeah I read about the Blackman show. Okay that sounds like a decent package, it was just the term on-demand that had me wondering. Now do they also have old Nitro and Thunder episodes, because I want to watch the Russo era episodes for guilty pleasure humor. -

Well after the pic of him hocking stuff at the subway, I'm not surprised that he's getting desperate. -

Yeah I've been considering getting it on my PS3. Am I able to get any match I want whenever I want because all I keep seeing are lineup schedules as if it was an online TV channel? -

Wow everyone was a loser at that show. At least David Flair can go on knowing that he created a meme with his Titantron video. It almost always seems to be the case of when a child follows in their father's footsteps in wrestling, they fail horribly due to a mixture of expectations being too high and them just being terrible wrestlers. And here's one for Virgil: -

Yeah he would do that during big rating killers like the NFL season or NBA playoffs too. -
I am still laughing about the one time that I went there. In front of the store was a truck parked with a kid sitting in it about 7-8 years old. Then as I'm walking in the store I see a guy coming out of the back area with a plastic bag that seemed to be holding 2-3 DVDs in it. He then gets into the truck and and drives away with a bag full of porn sitting between his son and himself. Talk about having your priorities straight.

Too big for the small selection it had, though to be fair there were a lot of ma and pop video stores like that that were basically porn stores with some mainstream video rentals in the front. It was basically a way for them to have their business in a better part of town and still make money off of adult videos. There is still a store like this in Stockton, CA where I work that has DVDs where the most current movie is about 3 three years old, but once you go past the partition door it's just a porn store minus the sex toys and novelty items.

The fact that almost every female in the movie outside of the old women and lead actress are porn stars and the boom mic scene showed that Michael Jai White knew what he was doing in aping the style of that era, that and the scene where they spend four minutes figuring out Richard Nixon's plan by talking about Greek Mythology is just hilarious.

I could see him as like one of the guys Lambert fought in a flashback or even the Clancy Brown character, but not the lead. Also, I just listened to an old episode of Sklarbro Country with guest Scott Aukerman and he revealed that Kulap worked at the main Pastamania. She even apparently met the Hulkster once since he was technically her boss. -
Yeah the guy was customer of the month in the adult section because he turned all his movies in on time I'm assuming. Though it would be odd to have your face plastered on a full size poster for EVERYONE in the store to see that you whack it CONSTANTLY.

But it's intentionally bad and cheesy, unlike movies like the Room or Birdemic which try to be good but fail horribly at it.

It's meant to be. This doesn't deserve an episode as it's a good spoof/satire of blaxploitation and is really funny and entertaining. I works well with the material and the tropes of that genre.

I remember that same thing because if the WWE ever got any positive publicity they would replay it over and over again for their benefit to the product. This was opposite of WCW that would kill any kind of mention in the mainstream media solely for the reason of it not being their idea originally, which hurt them very much in the long run. What's odd now is that in recent years there have been more wrestlers coming out either as gay or bi, the most prominent and recent being Darren Young, and to see how that knowledge and publicity is used for a semi-push to show that the promotion loves the guy. Young and his tag partner went on a nice little win streak after he came out, but nothing ever really came of it and the team has since broken up. Yet there are many times, as we've shown here, where that lifestyle is shown to such characture proportions to where it hurts the cause i.e. Orlando Jordan and whatever the fuck he was going for when he joined TNA. -
Yeah there was a lot of horrible shit and implausible stuff in this movie. From how clicking one email with a nude photo of the stalker leads to a zillion automatically opening up to how the swim captain who is basically an intern for his doctor mother is able to give out prescriptions to patients at her hospital, this movie just really didn't give a shit. It was basically if MTV said "let's make Fatal Attraction for our viewers, but not as creepy and PG-13."

God I can remember how pissed GLAAD was when that angle ended. They actually believed they were gay because "IT'S STILL REAL TO THEM DAMMIT!" -

The only way it would have been more gay is if it had either the West Hollywood Blondes. Or the Johnsons from the first TNA match ever. -

Undertaker will have to do the Chris Jericho/Mick Foley route where he just writes autobiography after autobiography because there isn't binding strong enough in the world to hold that many pages together in one book. As far as Kane starting an insurance company, that's not too far off from what many wrestlers do after they retire, as most tend to go into real estate if they aren't desperately trying to hang on to whatever relevance they have in the wrestling world. That or porn as Chyna and now apparently Buff Bagwell have shown. Chyna actually chose to continue doing porn instead of remaining in TNA when they made her choose because she was getting paid better getting gangbanged by actors dressed like Cena and Hogan (REAL MOVIE). Buff is now actually on Gigolos on Showtime which must be creepy as hell for him since most of his real clients, not the ones that are on the show that are just actual porn stars, as they basically grew up watching him on wrestling for the most part. At least the show is not too far off from his previous acting work where he starred in other softcore porn movies made by Andy Sidaris in the mid 90s.
