Well it makes sense, Wolf is just The Room with all of the crazy subplots being completed rather than left hanging, and a lot better green screen. Tommy just had to pull back since he only had 6 million dollars for his budget.

Well hey now, if you were fucking your cousin you would need a backup plan in case your kids ended up being touched in the head, Hollywood should really be sending a thank you letter to Jonah "from Moneyball" Hill for the time his character took in explaining the proper way of extricating that child from your family with a quick drive to the country and a "see ya later, have a nice life." I have a feeling this may be just the two of us talking about this batshit great movie, but I don't care, this film needs to be discussed. At times I think this is what Tommy Wiseau had pictured in his head when he made The Room.

And if you look close you can see Ethan Suplee doing the stereotypical white guy "I don't know how to dance" dance, the guy in the orange pants next to Leo is doing the dick slang, and Jon Bernthal is straight up checkin' out dat ass.

Shouldn't Statham technically be in the 4 appearance category as they did an episode on Crank 2 and the original Crank with Brian Taylor, then In the Name of the King and Fast 6?

YES THAT FACE!!! And was he doing lines or was he blowing it up her ass to numb her, because that is a BIG difference. And I gotta admit that Leo was great with the physicality from the pop 'n lock dance to him trying to get home while whacked out on super Quaaludes and then parodying Popeye with cocaine. And I am starting that thread right now because this movie must be discussed for how great and insane it is.

That reminds me of the Family Guy episode where they have the abstinence assembly where they try to connect to kids by making references to the Matrix, which at that time was 7 years old, and by sitting backwards on chairs. The chair moment was then emphasized by two students doing the same thing saying 'hey he's sitting like we are, he gets us!"

Agree completely, the final twist was a complete blowout to how decent the rest of the film was. It had an ending similar to The Box where there was some higher power group that was behind it and it came completely out of right field.

Yeah there is enough vintage Stallone in this to warrant an episode.

I remember having to watch this shitty thing in high school, the after school special style really didn't help its cause.

This would have to be a live episode with Pete just to get crowd reaction to his awesome Pacino impression.

Agree completely, I loved Wolf of Wall Street because it was a perfect mix of that time period and the men living in it, and apparently it's not too far off from real life as I'm reading the book right now. Someone needs to make a Gif of Leo blowing coke in that hookers butt from the beginning of the movie, because that expression he has would make Tony Montana say "hey lets slow down buddy, this may be too much."

You are correct the episode I was thinking of was called "P.C." but that's the crazy thing about this show, all the episodes eventually blend together.
-
Wasn't that the episode where Kathy Griffin was a whacked out lesbian lobbyist who tried to make out with Benson and then was revealed to be bisexual and that she hid it because she felt being bi was worse for the cause than being completely gay?

Holy crap this show is over the top in its preachiness. An episode I saw a couple weeks back had Lea Thompson trying to steal a couple's child because she thought it was her missing daughter. She has a P.I. do some digging and he finds that there is a familial match between the girl and Thompson. After she is arrested for actually kidnapping the kid, the detectives find out that she and the other woman had used in vitro fertilization and that one of Thompson's eggs had been implanted into the other woman, thus giving them both a child with the shared DNA, to which Benson says, with a straight face, that this doctor committed genetic rape. My head just about exploded after hearing the amount of WTF with that one.

Holy crap this looks horrendous, and it appears that Kellan Lutz is this years Taylor Kitsch as this is is second crappy looking adaptation this year after the miserable look Hercules movie. From the god awful animation to the fact that for some reason Tarzan is fighting a corporation that is looking for an alien artifact that killed the dinosaurs, this movie is perfect for being HDTGM's first animated movie.

Fucking glorious.

I may be in the minority but I though Richard E. Grant, Sandra Bernhard, and David Caruso were fantastic in this movie. They seemed to get what kind of movie and roles they were in and just ran with it. The one thing I would have liked to see was when Caruso got killed all of his cards had things like "Ow" or "Didn't see that one coming." And with how this movie was written, I'm sure there is a deleted scene somewhere with that.
-
I'm also amazed that a movie that looks like one of those Barbie/Tinkerbell direct to DVD films is getting a wide theatrical release.
-
Holy fucknuts I forgot how insane this movie is. From there being two mafioso name the Mario Bros. to David Caruso being a mute mimic and part of a CIA team named after candy bars to the fact that Andi McDowell was somehow seen as a viable actress, even though she gets out performed by a talking crucifix in one scene, this movie has so many parts and NONE of them click well together. And on the McDowell front, she basically only gets work now by licensing her image to shitty harlequin novels.

What was funny to me was that the trailer made it seem like Sawyer was a washed up soccer player/coach and if I remember the line correctly he was sold on coaching this team with the line "you played/coached soccer, so you can teach these guys to work as a dance crew" when there is NO FUCKING CORRELATION TO THE TWO ACTIVITIES AT ALL!

I'm sort of wondering how much they had to pay Crawford to go topless in this movie, since she was still pretty big in the modeling world and this was her first real acting role.

Sort of like how the Flash's costume hides inside his ring. Another scene I would love to see is Daredevil opening up the compartment and trying to assemble that device just to make two letters. Though I also would have loved if Joey Pants threw his smoke down and lit the letters, but they look nothing like D's and are just rough scribbles.

One thing I was wondering about with this movie, if Daredevil can only "see" using his sonar ability, how was he able to make those flaming D's in the beginning of the movie? It's not like he can see true shapes without the help of A LOT of ambient sound, like the rain he used to see Elektra or Kingpin. Was he just tapping the ground with his cane to get the general idea of what he was writing or is there some deleted scene that flashes back within the flashback to show the 500 times it took for him to perfect those D's at various crime scenes around the city?

Damn you beat me to it.
