    R.I.P.D. (2013)

Sure it will have hammy lines, but that's expected of a Del Toro film. I think Pacific Rim or Elysium will be the dark horse surprise for the summer.

Are we sure Paxton wasn't the other shooter on the grassy knoll?

    Predator 2 (1990)

I would love to see that NC-17 cut. That's a cool fact about Paxton bein killed by sci-fi legends, it reminded me about how Robert Patrick is the only actor to have been killed by all three founders of Planet Hollywood: killed in T2 by Arnold, Die Hard 2 by Bruce Willis, and Copland by Stallone. Never knew this was Busey's first movie after his accident, but looking back I can tell a difference between his acting styles and mannerisms from before and after.

What's more insane is that those wolves apparently cost $50 million to make and Disney didn't like the idea of a quarter billion dollar western.

Hey at least there aren't anymore werewolves in The Lone Ranger as was the original plan.

I'm seeing Iron Man 3 because it looks good to me and I'll be seeing others I mentioned, I just don't have high hopes for them like I had for the Avengers or Dark Knight Rises. I hated the Great Gatsby a lot since I had to read it a ton being an English major. Plus Baz Luhrmann seems to be making this Moulin Rouge in the 20s, I mean really in the first trailer it shows people having a party in a moving car and the party is so excessive. The Intership is just the same schtick that Vaughn and Wilson have done countless times in better movies. The 300 sequel seems rushed because of how quiet the publicity for it has been, we heard about it after the original came out but then nothing for years, now it's coming out made by different people. After Earth is being smart by not mentioning M. Night, but Will Smith I feel has lost some of his luster as a star with Hancock failing and Seven Pounds sucking out loud. Plus with recent news stories showing out egotistical he is, like turning down Django Unchained because he felt his character wasn't big enough, he may be turning some people off. That and his son is a terrbile actor. Lone Ranger like you said is a $200 million western that is making Tonto seem like the focal point of the movie only to appease Johny Depp. World War Z is already getting backlash for being more of a prequel to the book than anything else, and more focused on action rather than a study of the human condition after harrowing ordeals. Plus the zombie animation in the movie is terrible to me, they look like water almost with how they move and pile up on each other.

I don't know, I think there are a lot of strong contenders for biggest flop/disappointment. The Great Gatsby RIPD The Internship The Lone Ranger After Earth World War Z 300: Rise of an Empire and possibly the Wolverine all look ripe for being huge letdowns.

    Return To Sleepaway Camp

That's why I bought it as well, I have to be a completionist for this series outside of the uber-shitty Survivor movie and I can't wait for the third movie for the original series comes out.

Yeah I'm amazed that Bridges went with THAT voice for his character. I think he is now just using his Oscar as a paperweight for all of the money he is making taking these roles.

    Birdemic 2

There are people that liked the Kirk Cameron original? And holy shit, I may watch that as well, just to see how Jesusy Cage gets, that or if he is the actual antichrist.

    Birdemic 2

I'd watch a movie where Nic Cage is just a pile of ash on a burning earth.

    Birdemic 2

Well of course he has to come back, he was the lynchpin to that whole movie.

    The Boondock Saints (1999)

I actually like the movies for what they are, senseless violence with almost zero plot outside of "god" tellin them to do it. I actually liked how Dafoe would walk through the aftermath of the killings rather than the audience just seeing them. Also, I think there is a Geraldo Rivera cameo in the credits when people are being asked what they think of the Saints.

    Snakes on a Plane

I remember seeing this in theaters after seein all the hype online for it. I did enjoy the human pinata scene with the gangster in the all white suit, just to get the image of the suit covered in blood. Then you had almost every cliche character you could think of on the plane: the old flight attendant on her last flight before retirement, the OCD rapper who forgot he's from the streets, the airhead Paris Hilton knockoff, the cowboy pilot who hits on everyone, the stuffy English businessman, the effeminate male flight attendant who ends up having a hot girlfriend, the fearless partner who is secretly afraid of the killer animal, and the asian guy who everyone thinks is involved with the plot because he knows karate, and so much more. Then there was decent tongue in cheek stuff like the male attendant throwing a snake in the microwave and hitting the "snake" setting that got a chuckle out of me. There was no way this movie could live up to the reputation that had been built for it online, but I would love to see an episode based on this movie.

    Return To Sleepaway Camp

Paul had talked in the board for Sleepaway Camp with Jonathan Tiersten about coming in to do the movie as a follow up, which would be a fantastic episode, especially if they get Zack Pearlman back like they did with Doug Benson on the Twilight episodes.

    Basic (2003)

I actually liked this movie once I took a step back and realized what it was with multiple characters telling the same story from different POVs and the audience doesn't know who to believe. I actually was surprised by the ending, though there was a fairly large plot hole in concern to how one of the prisoners was just able to escape custody and meet up with Travolta.

    Return To Sleepaway Camp

No he doesn't get a gun in the film. And most of those movies I owned before I started listening to the show. I've been lucky enough to be able to get the bulk of my 800+ DVD collection due to the two big rental stores in the US, Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, either going out of business completely or closing a bunch of stores. In my hometown there were two of each of these stores and only one remains so I would by a crapton of movies usually at 2 or 3 bucks a piece since it was a going out of business sale. And not just older movies, but new releases at the time as well. Return is great because it's done by the original director and has a lot of the original cast back, even for a scene or two. It's definitely worth another shot.

    The Quick and the Dead

Oh and I forgot about the blind kid who can see everything going on except for what bullet he is throwing to Crowe's character. Also, there is a well hidden easter egg concerning one of the gunfighters. Says his name is Virgil Sparks and that he's the "pride of Texas," but when you see Stone in the second, there is a small posted behind her with his name on it and if you rewind the film you see it's a wanted poster for him for the crimes of "Murder!" and "Rape!" Apparently the two women he had on his arms can't read.

    Return To Sleepaway Camp

I own quite a few movies done by the show because I love guilty pleasure movies. Judge Dredd, Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter, The Room, Birdemic, Sleepaway Camp, Cobra, Punisher War Zone, Devil's Advocate, both Cranks, and Batman & Robin, are all in my collection. I own all of the Sleepaway Camps except for the Survivor one which is basically just a clip movie. I did like Return to Sleepaway Camp even though it wasn't as 80s as the original. The deaths were great especially, Vincent Pastore's, though to be fair the whole series has always had really good and original death scenes. Other deaths include a castration by car and a girl being squished by a mattress with knives in it. The Room is a fantastic movie to watch with friends. I've watched it a couple times in the past couple weeks and we spent the whole time Mystery Science Theatering it and having a total blast. Don't know about Cool as Ice, though I don't think I can take any movie with Vanilla as the star seriously.

    Point Break (1991)

I have a weird love affair with Keanu movies as he is a horrible actor, but when he is put into the right role, it just clicks. Point Break, Street Kings, and Speed, work so well because they have over the top/nonstop action and Reeves can act as the grimacing tough guy. Movies like Devil's Advocate, Dracula, and the first Matrix worked because there were either more competent actors in the movie to make it flow or super insane or Keanu was such a lighter part of the movie where his role was more action based or just small.
  22. This movie's trailer was released in front of a pretty big movie, I can't remember which other than I thought the movie looked too small time for the slot it got before a movie, but it had a small release on the festival circuit and then never came out. When I say never, I mean NEVER. It never went into wide release and has up to this point, not come out on DVD. It has though, been released as a free full movie on youtube. There's no real story outside of it's a serial killer filming all of his misdeeds and leaving them in his house which is discovered by police. There is no real rhyme or reason to the segments other than to ape the Se7en notebook room where hundreds of notebooks are strewn about in no particular order detailing the life of a killer. I would love an episode on this just to hear the background information of how this movie came to get a decent amount of publicity and then just disappear. Here is the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMcgNZqg6tw

    Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007)

Yeah there are times that a movie can succeed at that time of year. I feel that AVP: Requiem was released at Christmas ironically, hell the first trailer had a Christmas song as the background. I think a movie like this would have done better in the transition between Summer movie season and the holiday/award contender season. If they released this in late August/September, I think it could have done pretty well. Christmas is a time it seems for movies that are either getting nominated for Oscars or are movies that studios have no plans on promoting well and are just releasing them to keep up their end of the contract. Look at Punisher War Zone, Lexi Alexander said on the show she was sold on the fact that the studio said they would promote Punisher more since it was coming out around Christmas, but then really undersold what the movie was and it didn't do well at the box office.

    The Poughkeepsie Tapes

I know it wasn't in front of a movie like those, though it might have been in front of the Halloween remake, though I doubt it because I was shocked to see the trailer for a movie like this in front of a legit blockbuster and not a horror movie.

    The Poughkeepsie Tapes

Yeah I remember the story of Cabin, but with this one it had a fair amount of press when the initial trailer came out. But after watching a bit of it on youtube, I don't understand how as it comes off as a real low rent, straight to DVD flick. I can't for the life of me remember what movie I saw the trailer in front of but even then I knew it had to real reason to be in front of it.
