I like in this movie that a kid can just get autism after suffering a traumatizing event, shows that they filmmakers really put thought into it. There is also bounty hunters who specialize in finding kids and video game hustling. The movie also had Tobey Maguire was one of the villain kid's cronies.

The big difference between Movie 43 and this shitfest is that this movie isn't even trying. There were segments in 43 that were just overt but most did have some great laughs in them. I mean in this movie you have in the trailer a guy holding watermelons and fried chicken trying to get a black couple on a boat to Africa and Adrien Brody making gay puns. It was like they thought if they were just outright offensive that people would fork over their money.

I remember seeing this when I was around 12 and it basically started puberty for me. I don't think I've seen a sex scene as long in any other movie. At least with movies like Showgirls they sex scenes were broken into smaller bits, this movie just put it all together in two huge lumps that were separated by a 20 second dinner scene. Maxim actually called it as the best sex scene of all time while the rest of the movie was utter crazy shit.

I loved this movie for how good it was for a such low budget sci-fi flick. The fight scene between Piper and David was great for how realistic it was: you didn't have these guys going 100mph for five minutes like you see in a lot of action movies, but rather they got winded and beaten down in real time, sort of like in Old Boy.

Uh-oh. Shannon is gonna get mad again now that another thread has been made for this movie. Though I would love to see this movie done on HDTGM.

Well that and the girl dressed as a member of Kiss before the school dance having sex in her car and showcasing an awesome set of tits, so much so that one of the dead friends has to mention how great her tits are. I also remember a scene where Alba's best friend gets chopped up in a giant vent fan blade which is over a high school hallway, when it is clearly designed to be in an industrial factory.

Virtuosity is a great bad movie. Stars Denzel Washington and a young Russell Crowe where Crowe is a killer computer program. It's definitely worth a watch. As for this movie, King was pissed because he was initially led to believe that this was going to be based on his previously mentioned short story, which the provided summary is basically it as the story is only a couple pages long. Yet when the only thing in common between the story and movie is that there is a lawnmower that runs on its own and the line about a dead character having a nice lawn, King was upset. He asked for his name to be taken off after this but the production company still sent out publicity material titling it "Stephen King's Lawnmower Man" as a way to get a higher box office, he sued and won. Even more crazy is the sequel to this movie where the only person from the original cast to come back was the kid who was friends with Fahey's character. They had the guy who played Max Headroom play Fahey's role and the whole movie involved people leaving reality to live in virtual reality.

I loved this movie for the unique twist on the horror anthology, which is one of my favorite niches in horror movies. I was especially surprised at how well David Allen Grier played a villain when he was only doing comedic roles at that time. The twist wasn't too surprising about the three gang members, but I was surprised by Clarence Williams role in the whole thing.

Yeah for some reason it didn't do too well at the box office but built a following on DVD, which is unfortunate as it's one of the Rock's best movies.

To be fair it actually made over $30 but the director refunded a couple tickets for two people who were involved with the movie that went and saw it. So this movie was so bad that even people who helped make it wanted a refund.

When I first saw the ending I was like "What the Fuck?" but after reading how the twist works within the movie, it's not so bad but it would have been better if there was a straight ending.

***SPOILERS**** You don't need to see Thr3e, even if just for the twist, the movie is a shitty adaptation of a religious mystery book. It all involves a guy being tracked by this supposed serial killer who wants him to atone for his sins and would punish him, his crazy aunt, and his childhood friend. After a whole lot of stupid plot points and misdirects, you find out that not only is the serial killer a figment of the main character's imagination who was made as a copycat of the real killer, but the childhood friend was also in the main character's imagination. It was really convoluted though it was surprising to see that the friend wasn't real either.

I have read Intensity by Dean Koontz and the movie is only adapting the parts where the killer is in the house and that the main character chases after the killer. The whole thing about the killer being the unreliable narrator was something original. Thr3e at least had a basis for the twist. You saw the main character's upbringing with his crazy family so it would make sense that he wouldn't be right in the head. The twist in high tension was such a kick to the nuts with no explanation that it ruins an otherwise good movie.

Yeah but the whole story about how Matt Damon's character was found was nothing like the movie. Fritz Niland, the basis for Private Ryan, fought during the Normandy invasion and then bounced among the divisions where his other brothers were stationed. Upon coming to each one, he found out the brother had died before being told being escorted by the company priest to a plane where he was flown to London before heading back to the United States. There was no search party for him, he wasn't out in the middle of nowhere, he just basically walked up to a commanding officer and said "here I am" and went home.

Yeah but at least with The Untouchables the dates were right and Capone did go to prison for tax evasion and LA confidential was a based on a fictional crime novel. Gangster Squad doesn't even try to be accurate at times. The only other movie that may be more inaccurate is Saving Private Ryan.

It was fun, but I think it could have been better if they didn't try so hard to play it off as fact.

It's actually one of the Rock's better movies along with Fast 5. It's got the perfect mix of action and comedy and is pretty crazy at times.

I still remember this movie for the trailer where Gibson stuck a hidden picture of himself standing next to the actors. They were in costume and he looked like he was doing an impression of Tom Hanks in Cast Away with a long beard and scruffy hair and I think he was smoking a cigar just looking insane.

3000 Miles to Graceland (2001)

Wow, the Russell version was chosen and it was still that violent? I can only imagine the Costner version having him rape Courntey Cox on the body of her son that he just killed. And let's not forget about the CGI scorpion fight that starts the movie. -
To me they always came off as the guys who said they were the most wild and insane funny people but then were just childish. It was an old Patton Oswalt joke where he mentioned that if they said that then it would be the tamest show you've ever seen. I've seen a few episodes of this crapfest and I can't stand those tools, especially because they think that they are hilarious.

Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000)

I'm still trying to understand how you can have The Last Exorcism Part 2 if the first one was meant to be the last. Although I heard the first sequel to .REC was pretty decent, and the sequel to V/H/S looks promising. -
Yeah the bulk would be deciphering that ending. **SPOILER*** Since it's basically meant to be the ramblings of a crazy person and that much of it hasn't actually happened outside of the murders/kidnapping, it would have been good for that to have been explained in the movie. Instead it just ends abruptly after the friend sees the killer one last time, leaving the audience scratching their collective heads.

They also made fun of it in the movie as his dad asked him why his accent classes didn't take forcing Gambon to talk in his shitty American accent for a minute to prove how bad it was. Also for some reason the whole art design of the movie was so 90s with pastel colors and weird robot heads that spat out toy parts. I remember this and a pinball game called funhouse that had a similar design that creeped me out as a kid.

The bad thing about this movie is that was made with WCW who at the time thought it was a good idea to basically tell the few fans it had left that wrestling was fake, in both their wrestling shows and this movie. Then you have the two main characters be the dumbest people on the face of the planet who happen to be wrestling fans, just to further insult and alienate the wrestling audience. Also, I can see Jason and June going nuts over the whole stick-my-hand-up-my-ass-to-get-a-free-slushee plot point.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Agree completely, you can tell it's his passion outside of his religion and he goes full force in it.
