Don't forget Alex Cross from the original Sharknado episode. I also think there was another Tyler Perry movie that Scott Aukerman had watched prior to the second Sharknado episode.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995)
RyanSz replied to Darian's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Bumping this thread because I'm watching it on Amazon Prime. Holy. Shit. From the opening skydiving/roller blading montage to the fact that the city is completely different from the TV show to the fact that there is still enough interest in this show that a reboot is happening, now is the perfect time to do this show. Also the entire plot is basically laid out by Zordon in the first ten minutes is utterly insane on the level of Commissioner Gordon telling Batman that there is a new villain in Gotham in Batman & Robin. -
I think that was for the best, considering the Tyler Perry Alex Cross was just a total dud, though I was surprised to hear that they were considering a sequel for it. Regarding your work with Marvel and comics in general, would you ever do like Brian Posehn did and co-write on a major series, and which one, or is there just not enough time with your schedule? Also if you could choose, which artist would you love to work with on said series?

Having just finished this bucket of what the fuck I cannot wait for this episode. I originally thought that Chicago was the worst musical ever but this takes the damn cake as many of the people singing are not actually professional singers. Also am I alone in thinking that George Gilmour (Alphie) looks sort of like porn legend Peter North?

This movie is fucking amazing and Reynolds is fantastic in it for the three parts that he has.
-
Also for another Walter Hill connection, she was "The Voice" in The Warriors.

No Patrick Stewart?! I think the only question I have at the moment is what ever happened to the Green Lantern episode? The Smurf episode is pretty understandable as to why it was removed as Jayma Mills being on the League, but I can't see why the 25th favorite superhero in America no longer has an episode dedicated to him.

HEY! The Game knows what he's doing when he uses that sledgehammer, he is the Cerebral Assassin after all.
-
But past 3 posts is basically this whole board, isn't it?

That is what they were talking about, but to be honest I didn't think 16 Blocks was that bad or crazy, minus Mos Def's performance.
-
Actually surprised Attack the Block, Zoolander, and Pocahontas are that low.
-
That character was not a total asshole, just a psychopath and maybe one of the most underrated performances in action movie history.

Possible Omission: Why has no one brought up the fact that Tom basically doomed this city due to his actions, even though he beat Raven? This gang has already shown that its numbers are way more than the available number of men willing to fight in the city, and Raven has shown himself to be a poor loser. Also this gang is incredibly active at night, so my question is what's to stop them from sneaking back at night and completely massacre-ing this entire city a la Dogville, especially now that Tom and McCoy are gone? That is usually what's done in most movies where they don't give a shit until money is offered, so this is at least trying to be different by Tom just going "yeah, I'll save her, but you're going to pay me" without any hesitation.

I'm doing the challenge again to see if I can beat my last tally, since I wasn't really trying until 6 months in last year. Already got a good pace going and I keep finding insane things to watch on Amazon or Netflix so it shouldn't be too hard.

On first look, it's almost like Michael Pare was a very poor man's Michael Beck, when I read his name, I was sure I saw him in bigger movies, not a bunch of shitty Uwe Boll movies.
-
Well it was was done by Walter Hill, who I honestly think was just trying to make a PG version of the Warriors. And I feel vindicated that Jason mentioned that Diane Lane is basically Pat Benatar in this movie.

Has anyone brought up the fact that Dafoe is wearing leather overalls that make him look like Mike Myers' Dieter character's dominant partner?
-
Yeah they talked about at least doing Spirit of Vengeance because of Neveldine/Taylor, but just haven't gotten to it. I would love to see them talk about Dreamcatcher, Happening, and any of the Sleepaway Camp movies, mainly the most recent one, it's just a matter of waiting. I know Paul talked about doing Return to Sleepaway Camp and the actor who played Ricky was on the forum for Sleepaway Camp and said he would love to come onto the show to talk about the movies, which would make for a great live episode.
-
With some of these on the list (Showgirls, Happening) I think they will be done eventually but a ways away because they are such low hanging fruit and have been covered by numerous other shows. Others like Jacob's Ladder were just mentioned in relation to a possible batshit way a movie was done, usually mentioned by Jason. I know people are complaining about the surge of Cannon films being covered but it's like when the show first started with Cage and then had a splurge of Stallone films.Eventually many of these will be covered, it just takes time with the show being bi-weekly at best in link with their careers.

It was illegal in both I believe, he got busted for the bodybuilding but kept it quiet from the WWE, which I think is what really cost him his job. If he had been forward about what happened, they might have let it slide since it wasn't anything for the promotion, though they probably would have suspended him since he popped for something that would violate the Wellness Policy.

If Howard the Duck is Paul's proof that George Lucas loved coke in the 80s, this movie is proof that Peter Jackson loved Acid. I'm about 30 minutes in and the amount of WTF is astonishing. The costumes and puppets are if Jim Henson made puppets for Genesis' music videos.

Yeah they got a lot of decent size names for this, most of whom look pretty close to their counterparts. The pics of Lane as Bailey look pretty close to what he looked like during the trial as does Courtney B. Vance as Johnny Cochran and Kenneth Choi as Judge Ito. The only one who really doesn't match his counterpart is Cuba Gooding Jr., who looks a bit thinner than what I remember O.J. being during the trial.

Poor Billy Gunn, as long as he keeps his dirty drug tests secret for a year or so, he should be back with the E in no time.

I never got the infatuation with Johansson, yes she's beautiful but i find her acting incredibly wooden. Mindy Kaling had a great joke on the first Comedy Death Ray album where she impersonates Johansson and Julia Stiles basically being the same people acting style wise and it's pretty great.
