    Fantastic Mr. Fox

While we're at it can I just say that Citizen Kane can eat a dick.

    The Island of Dr Moreau

That documentary looks amazing, but why did Kilmer have so much pull if he was the third character in the movie behind Brando and Thewlis. If anything, Kilmer and Thewlis should have switched roles as Kilmer's last three movies were Tombstone, Batman Forever, and Heat, while Thewlis just came off Dragonheart which barely broke even and James and the Giant Peach which was an ensemble piece. Hell, Kilmer was even second billed and on the poster while the protagonist of the movie was nowhere to be mentioned.

    Jupiter Ascending

I don't know, I got my money on Keaton who was absolutely amazing, followed closely by Carell.
  4. HOLY FUCK. I saw this by accident on imdb in their weird similar movie section (which never features similar movies to what I'm looking at) and saw this. Apparently it's a whole family affair as the Travolta family play characters based on some Youtube cartoon. The website for the movie is pretty great too as it mentions Travolta has been nominated for an Oscar twice followed by the sentence of his most recent nomination being for Pulp Fiction, a 20 year old movie. If this ever gets released this bucket of fuck deserves an episode, maybe a live pairing with Food Fight! http://gummybearthemovie3d.com/

    Jupiter Ascending

The one person probably hating this the most is Eddie Redmayne, who must be just watching his Oscar hopes go down the drain. I know Academy voters are only supposed to vote based on the nominated role, but numerous writers and critics have said that other roles in the year can affect a person's chances of winning or other things happening in their life near the Oscars (I remember Mickey Rourke's dog dying was said to be a possible swaying point for him maybe winning for the Wrestler). And from the reviews I have read of this movie, Redmayne is just getting trounced for his performance.

    The Reaping (2007)

That's always been the thing with Swank, she's either in a movie where she's nominated or wins an Oscar, or is in utter crap like the Core, the Next Karate Kid, or this.

    Mortdecai (2015)

Yeah that was a common thread concerning her, especially in relation to other female talent on the channel, yet she received a bunch of praise from another group on the Indoor Kids episode about the closure of G4. Overall it seemed very clique-ish on the channel in regards to people's viewpoints on each other.

She was the cover story of Popular Mechanics last month or the month before so she still goes back to the well.

    Horns (2013)

The book just gives a guess as to why he got the horns, from when he desecrated the memorial for his girlfriend. The movie sort of hovers on the memorial after he pees on it, making it seem that was the cause the possession or whatever it may be.

    Horns (2013)

While the movie is crazy and would be good for the show, it was a really good adaptation of the book. Unfortunately, like with most adaptations there was not enough time to delve further into what was happening. The book went into a bit more detail about how the main character figured out how the horns worked and what he could do with them, along with there being a bit more time between when his girlfriend was murdered and the start of the actual story so there was a unsettling unease around him rather than a vicious fervor against him for a crime he did not commit.

    Mortdecai (2015)

Olivia Munn has been pretty polarizing in regards to her nerdiness after working for G4. After listening to the Indoor Kids for years whenever her name is brought up by former employees they either fall into one of two camps, either she was a diva who mimicked other women on the channel to come off as nerdy/tech savvy or she was a hard worker who was sincere about who she was and acknowledged the channel was a stepping stone towards something more.

    Episode 102 — Tango & Cash

Oh, blow off as in explode with a grenade, totally different than what I was thinking within the subtext of this movie.

    Episode 102 — Tango & Cash

Stallone I think was informed by the truck driver in the beginning, like where the shipment was headed, though i could be mistaken.

    Mortdecai (2015)

Well remember that The Tourist flopped in the states making 67 million but internationally it made nearly four times that, at around 210 million. The same is true for Transendance (23 US to 80 World), Lone Ranger (89 US to 171 World), and Dark Shadows (79 US to 165 World). The only one that has been a total flop recently was The Rum Diary which barely got back half its production budget. I will be would not be surprised if this does well overseas as the series it is based on is well respected in Europe, but the idea that a hipster mustache can sell a multi-million dollar movie is quite preposterous.

    Mortdecai (2015)

It also seems to pull humor from the Love Guru as Paul Bettany's character is literally named Jock Strapp.

    Episode 102 — Tango & Cash

As a person who has worked in a state prison for a while now I can honestly say that they did have a lot of things right in regards to prison life, outside of the corrupt fighting and boiler room thunderdome scene. Outside of solitary or administrative segregation, the inmates are able to move freely to another inmates cell and visit or visit out on the yard, unless there is a code happening and then the inmates are placed into their locked cells. They are able to decorate their cells within the guidelines of the prison (no explicit porn or violent images, etc.). Many do have jobs inside the facility and if they are late it is the staff's responsibility to make sure they make it to their job by calling the guards to check on them.

    Dredd

It's just unfortunate that it had the stigma of the previous film. Actually had friends asking if it was a sequel to the Stallone film.

    Poseidon (2006)

Let's not forget that Kurt Russel's corpse twitches and hits the button needed to stop the propeller to save the other characters.

    Dredd

And more shocking is his resume includes producing The Grey, Lone Survivor, and Killing Them Softly, among others. Not only has he produced a bunch of movies that got great critical reviews or made a bunch of money, but he has been able to get actors like Liam Neeson, Brad Pitt, and Mark Whalberg to be in them, sometimes multiple times, ALL WHILE LOOKING LIKE THAT!

    Dredd

The only real over the top thing about this movie is its producer Adi Shankar who I think saw the first evil ex-boyfriend from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and said to himself "I can pull that off."

    Strange Wilderness (2008)

Just watched this last week. I can laugh at a few things in this movie and thought Justin Long was pretty good as the idiot stoner. What amazes me is that Ernest Borgnine actually signed on for this.

    The Other Sister (1999)

This movie was made solely based on the feeling everyone was going to get Oscar nominations for their parts. Unfortunately the main characters went full tard and the story was batshit insane.

    The Interview

Yeah that really got me. After watching this I liked it more than I thought I would, though it's not as good as This is the End. I loved the Eminem segment and the guy who played Kim was really good. The funny thing is that now people actually believe that Eminem is gay since a fictionalized movie came out.

    Left Behind (2014)

I would love a Christainsploitation version of Crank.
