Holy shit. What I can't believe is the number of name actors in these movies now. Mira Sorvino, Delroy Lindo, Sean Astin are mixed among people who have fallen off the map like Cybil Shepard, who looks like she went to a plastic surgeon and said she wanted to look like Lee Majors, Brian Bosworth, and Ted McGinley, who I think took the role so he could finally have a top-billed roll.

I just don't know what to say, wow. If that were really the plan by Sony, wouldn't it be a better fuck you to North Korea to release it on the 4th of July after all of this happened to say "we're going to show you we still have our freedom of speech and you can't stop us?" But no, we're going to copy the 9/11 Conspiracy episode of South Park by coming up with a convoluted plan that makes everyone look like shit if we actually go through with it.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens
RyanSz replied to jarrycanada's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
My fingers are crossed that the twist concerning the villain are true because it would be a good bounce off point for the new trilogy and address stuff that has been hinted at in the past in other mediums with Star Wars. -
Okay at least I'm not the only one who thought that.

Having now watched the trailer it seems like someone said "what if I made Silent Night, Deadly Night a Christian movie and took out some of the killing?"

Kirk basically did the equivalent of Oprah trying to bump up her network by baiting her Twitter followers. He asked his Facebook fans to give positive reviews to his movie on Rotten Tomatoes and then had the balls to brag about it. Unfortunately, the internet being a cruel bitch, everyone else went and tanked the reviews. What's funny is the comments where people are bashing the people who gave bad reviews saying that they hate Christ or what Cameron is trying to do, when in fact the majority of people who gave the good reviews did the same thing for the opposite side. http://www.cinemable...d-Go-68399.html This article has some great examples of reviews left on the various sites http://uproxx.com/filmdrunk/2014/11/kirk-cameron-tried-to-flood-rottentomatoes-was-quickly-swamped-by-trolls/

Yeah I was going to mention Funny Games as well. It's a really interesting scenario in where one movie can get critical acclaim and do well in the box office, but when an exact copy in another language is made by the same director, it fails miserably.

Nothing wrong with that.

This boxing/road trip movie with Woody Harrelson and Antonio Banderas as two over-the-hill boxers and friends who get one last chance at a big payday. The movie is fine enough as a look at what guys will go through to make it in boxing, but what makes this movie insane is the conversations that both men have with Banderas' girlfriend who is also Harrelson's ex. From talking about how they each fell out of grace in the boxing world to how Banderas "was a fag" for a year after losing a title match, because the guy he lost to was gay so he thought he could learn some secrets that would make him a better boxer. Yet the coup de grace is Lucy Lui who plays a mix between whore and valley girl with a southern accent. There is definitely enough the make this a decent episode with some Jason and June breakdowns.

Considering they have made musicals of Carrie, American Psycho, and are wanting to do one for Fight Club, I can see this being made.

And at least a million Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd jokes.

They have confirmed Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan for the sequel, I'm just wondering how they are going to make a sequel to the first movie, unless it's a new team trying to get in the magician society or whatever.

I think they were going with a Crash meets the internet kind of movie hitting on all of the go-to topics of the moment with everything online, but they couldn't tie it all together. What's worse is that this movie is tanking HARD at the box office. The article I read said it opened in 17 theaters making about 3 grand a theater, in comparison to Birdman which opened in 4 and made over 100 grand per theater on average. It's now being ranked as the fifth lowest grossing movie released in 600+ theaters. Another case of Adam Sandler trying to play it serious and tanking at the box office.

The only thing I can see them making that stupid assertion is with the shading around his eyes and his beard. -
No real conductor on the train, but in the versions of the book that has images there is a image similar to what you are looking for.

If you buy the book Stephen King Movie FAQ it goes into some detail about how this movie was created, especially since King so was involved in it. The book itself is pretty good going through all of his movies and the way Dino de Laurentis bought every book right he could in order to squeeze every penny he could get out of the King brand. -

If it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't currently own Miami Connection and Riki-Oh.

This forum has had quite a few movies used in the show, though the FYI maybe isn't referred to as much as most would like. The forum acts as a way for all of us who love shitty movies to share that knowledge with others that have a common interest. There have been rare times when trolls have come in and tried to ruin it for everyone (the dreaded summer of 2013 comes to mind), but overall it has been a forum designed to laugh and share in some of the worst experiences in cinema.

Nevermind, a wiki-Nazi came and deleted it, citing not enough credibility because the credit is from the Earwolf blog, though apparently the forums being used as a source are reliable enough. So now it comes to going through the episodes and finding where the group actually mentioned the use of the word to back up the addition. Wasn't there something a few months back where Paul said their usage got added as a definition in Urban Dictionary?
