    The Heist (COMPLETELY BONKERS)

I remember the money line being the big selling point on Roger Ebert liking the movie a lot. He always seems to pick one thing in order to give his approval for a movie, whether good or bad (Speed 2 being sensual, Anaconda having character).

    The Heist (COMPLETELY BONKERS)

I loved this movie. Once you get the hang of the idea that the movie is all about false leads and twists, it flows well. The language I could have done without as much since it was a lot of noire-ish slang, but at least it was easy to get an idea of what they were talking about for the most part. And the age difference between Hackman and his wife is nowhere near as bad as Meg and the camp owner from Sleepaway Camp.
  3. Goldeneye 64, Die Hard Trilogy, Chronicles of Riddick, the Ghostbusters game, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, and Alien Trilogy were the great ones that come to mind.
  4. I just wish they could have finished the video game they were making a couple years back, looked fantastic.

    Doom (2005)

One of the few movies I've seen the Rock swear hard, outside of Fast 5: "Semper Fi, Motherfucker!" Plus the first person segment is a sight to behold.

    Southland Tales (2006)

This could very well be the first 2 hour episode of HDTGM since this movie is nuts. I actually skimmed the prequel book in a Barnes and Noble and even then I was lost. What's more insane is that there was supposed to be a part 7 through 9 after the movie, in essence Richard Kelly wanted this to be his Star Wars. Characters are introduced just to be shot and let's not forget the car commercial where two cars FUCK, that alone should be episode worthy.

    Master P: The Last Don

    Or Big Money Hustlas.

    Master P: The Last Don

I think if any singer/group is going to have a episode done on them after Vanilla Ice, it should be the Insane Clown Posse and their horrible movies.

    Showgirls (1995)

This movie was Striptease before Striptease. It took the idea that someone thought, "a Vegas movie centering on viewpoint showgirls/whores will be pure gold" and instead made it utterly 90s. From the Michael Bolton-esque rocker who beats up the best friend to switchblades and the artist friend whose shitty studio apartment only has a bed with silk sheets, and needless lesbian kissing. At least this movie gave what it offered in Elizabeth Berkley being nude A LOT in the movie while Striptease sold the movie on the idea of Demi Moore being topless and in the end she was only topless for a few fleeting moments
  10. How dare you! Jason is a national fucking treasure.
  11. Yeah Rotten Tomatoes makes searching for these pretty easy. The hardest ones to find were The Room and On the Line oddly enough. And no it's not weird to make a spreadsheet of that. I find that is the best way to keep track of what movies I own, and it will definitely help determine the crap from the bile in concern to these movies.

    Fast & Furious 6

Well he did work as a bouncer for a gay bar and has been seen at gay bars in a non-working capacity. I don't care whether he is or not, but he has been quite vocal in his opposition to those rumors.

    Q&A w/ Paul Scheer Thread

Hey Paul, How much needs to be donated to Earwolf in order for there to be a new full episode of HDTGM each week? Sincerely, A very loyal HDTGM fan
  14. That right there is what is commonly known as the "Hello Ladies" look.

    Death Race: Inferno (2013)

To be fair the one thing these prequels do well is that they do not contradict the original remake for the most part. The right amount of nods to the first movie along with tying up loose ends works well, it's just some lazy shooting on stunts and some bland characters that brings this down quite a bit.
  17. Holy shit, I just bought this and it's nuts. The action itself is pretty good and the story is what you expect from a sequel to a straight-to-DVD movie. But what this makes up for in reason, it loads of errors and gaffs, like showing a guy being blown up in his car while he tries to escape but when you see him inside his rolling car, it's actually the stuntman wearing his helmet in a stunt rig. At least this time there is more death racing than in the last movie, though there is a bimbo battle royal to decide who the navigators will be which of course includes flamethrowers.

    Fast & Furious 6

Or just Michael Bay-esque descriptions of what happens in the movie: "Crash!" "Plane 'Splosion" "Gay Fight!" 7.
  19. Yeah I think this is the third highest rated movie done by HDTGM behind Fast 5. Righteous Kill (2008)

The twist (besides the killer obviously being Pacino) is that they revealed that twist by finally revealing the characters' names. The whole movie they called each other Turk and Rooster and while De Niro states his name as one guy which the audience is to believe is his taped confession, is actually him reading Pacino's therapy journal where he wrote his confession. The only good thing about this movie is that Rob Dyrdek got shot in the head. Also, let's not forget that De Niro's girlfriend who is also a cop is raped by Pacino, but their Lieutenant is covering for him for unknown reasons.

    Fast & Furious 6

I think the seventh film will be titled "Fast 7: Holy Shit This is Still a Prequel to Tokyo Drift!"
  22. Yeah four packs a great for their price and compactness, plus they really bolster a DVD collection, 757 and counting here.
  23. I think it was the idea that Keanu was part human/part devil while everyone who worked under Pacino were full on demons. I too don't get why Keanu wasn't the Antichrist since most popular stories concerning the subject involve Satan breeding with a human, or in the case of American Horror Story, an dead being impregnating a human. As for the four pack DVDs, I love those fucking things. The Batman collection, Matrix collection. And my favorite, the action collection which has The Limey, Black Mask, War with Jason Statham and Jet Li, and Mean Guns which needs its own episode because it is an insane movie with Ice-T and Christopher Lambert.
  24. Well the funny thing about the first Matrix movie is that the director's purposely made it so that Neo never said more than five sentences in a row before his final speech at the end. Maybe that's how he should do all of his movies. I think it was the under table BJ, they just hired a hooker and counted her as payment for Al.
