Omission (of sorts): About 28 minutes into the movie,Tara Reid (April) and Bo Derek (her mom, named May) are discussing names for the baby. Mom suggests the name June to which April replies "no, April, May, June, that's ridiculous". Of course you can say that's just some ctrl+alt+save-that-shit level writing, but is it actually ridiculous? I think it's kinda cute, and I think the writer of this movie, a man who has proven his tendency to use names symbolically, might be up to some meta level symbolism here. I posit that this piece of dialogue is actually a stub at our very own June (Diane Raphael) and that a certain Thunder Levin is broadcasting a secret, yet crystal clear message, a "fuck you" to the HDTMG gang, if you will, regarding their petition to write Sharknado: The Next One. Am I reading too much into this? Obviously. But then again, am I?

Watched the movie just now... I checked out when Sean Bean said "bees are genetically designed to recognize royalty". Seriously, I felt for him at that moment, no one should be reduced to this, there are better jobs... Saw the rest but I have no idea what happened, who was against whom or even who am I... Also, Eddie Redmayne needs to give back that Oscar asap!

Oh wow, I had already given a hard pass on Jupiter Ascending, it gave me this mediocre vibe... But ok, it's got Tatum and Kunis (if those are even their real names) so I guess I'll jerk off through it. Btw, --SPOILER ALERT-- I thought we were doing TMNT2—that was the 2nd NY show, was it not? I have nothing funny to say, love this episode, just like the previous SoBo. There can be no super-cut, just play the one episode after the other. Benny Ə is a force of nature.

It's not a correction or omission but I just want to point out a moment where Herc needs to say "deity" and he clearly says "diet". Had subs on and this moment encapsulated his performance for me. "Don't know what I am doing, don't know what I'm saying, I have big muscles!" Was watching this movie, which I think sits high the pantheon of HDTGM picks (pun intended) and thinking, this will be a great episode... And it was glorious! PS. Moments in the show where June feels for some character in any way only to have Zouks flip out over it are very endearing and hilarious. Love this dynamic between the two.

Holy shit, Benny Schwass (not sure about the proper spelling...) brought it with the improv! The character setup was meta-bonkers!

Listened to Harris on Pete Holmes' "You Made it Weird" today (the latest appearance). I'm sorry, someone has probably mentioned it already, perhaps several people even. But just wanted to say that if you haven't listened to it, please do. it's essential to understand his mindset. It made me feel for him, be angry at him, made me laugh (always), and in the end, love him even more. Also, if you're struggling with your own demons it might offer a new perspective.

What's with the criticism all of the sudden? There's almost an hour of meta-podcast-madness, irrelevant banter and goofing around before they even get to the album! At the end of a day, if they like U2 and their sourpuss-influenced dad-rock, um, music, let them talk about it. It's been a while that this has been the preface for this comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of all things U2 that is this podcast. Take it for what it is—I know I do and I could care less about U2.

I think this could be John Elliot's podcast. It's not exclusively REM but you can find the episodes about the REM albums down the list.
