    EPISODE 391 - 2015 Holiday Spectacular

This might be my favorite of the year. So much fun. I was expecting PFT to have Santa drop in and talk to Ho Ho briefly. I sure miss that candyass.
  2. I was genuinely almost too nervous to listen to the start of the interview. This was amazing. The fact that Bonobos drew the Scotts a dick, signing it "Bonobos," and that they got them everything but the t-shirts blows my mind.

CBB: HARRIS WITTELS IN MEMORIAM SHIRT

Has anyone else not gotten their shirt yet?

    EPISODE 348 — Is Y'all My Daddy?

    "And lips." "For days."
  5. I let my guard down during plugs and that call to China killed me. I was out in public and muttered the same "oh no..." that everyone else did.
  6. My internal dialogue throughout this episode: "This is great, I don't want to go to a break." "This ad is great, I don't want it to end." "This is great, I don't want to go to a break." "This ad is great, I don't want it to end."
  7. Perhaps the greatest two hours ever to be recorded.
  8. I'm only 13 minutes in but this is exactly the kind of of start we all needed. So silly and funny. Al's sick burn 12 minutes in was fantastic.

CBB: HARRIS WITTELS IN MEMORIAM SHIRT

Or "Creak. Slam. Sit." But I'm guessing they thought that Harris wouldn't have wanted the attention and that level of specificity probably isn't needed. This is a more subtle tribute to him with a universal message. Not sure if there's a perfect way of doing something like this, but it's a good way to help his scholarship fund.

CBB: HARRIS WITTELS IN MEMORIAM SHIRT

Ordered one. I was a little uneasy with having "motherfuckers" on the front before I remembered that Harris wouldn't give a shit. Great idea!
  11. Mike Schur wrote a nice piece about Harris: http://www.hollywood..._source=twitter This by Nick Offerman is spot on: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/parks-rec-star-nick-offerman-777520 Here's the full THR piece: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/parks-rec-writer-harris-wittels-777477
  12. They talk Harris on Professor Blastoff (starting at 26:00) http://www.earwolf.com/episode/addiction/
  13. I also feel that we should look up a treatment charity in LA or Houston, but donating through the Analyze Phish page is a good idea. If anyone wants to donate a decent chunk of change, may I recommend $69?
  14. That was beautiful, Brett. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for helping to bring Harris into so many lives. And I'm so sorry. After I got home from work and settled down, I grabbed my dog, turned out the lights, and laid down to listen to the ep. I had listened to the intro this morning and I think I cried harder the second time through. But those tears turned into pure joy and laughter right away when Harris called out Adam for eating. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard. I was rolling around and kicking my bed throughout the show. I was holding my face from laughing so hard even though nobody could see me. The laughter had no way of escaping other than through my violent tossing and turning. This was so damn funny. Yeah, motherfuckers wanna laugh, but comedy also gets us through the pain. Sometimes that pain comes in the form of boredom at work and general aimlessness. Other times it's much more severe and specific. I never thought I would feel something so hard from losing someone I had never met. This episode helped a lot. It helped because it was fucking hilarious. It helped because it was authentic. It helped because I know that thousands of others are listening to this today and going through the exact same thing. Thank you, Harris. You were only a couple of months older than me and we never met, but you had a big impact on my life. I can only hope that I will live up to the lessons which you taught me. We love you. I love you. Your comedy will stay with me forever.
  15. Check out Chelsea's timeline for some pics of the WBC protesters, including a Vine of Joe Mande offering them $100 for the Harris sign.
  16. It felt as if I spent the last few days with Harris after relistening to so many of his podcasts. This was the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning and had to listen to the introduction. I will wait until I have uninterrupted time by myself this evening to take in the podcast and feel everything I need to feel, including laughter, but thank you, Scott.

    We will miss you Harris

The fact that so many of these posts are so similar says a lot about Harris and his impact on those he never met. His silliness, absurdity, wit, and honesty brought us so much joy to us. I've spent the last few days revisiting my favorites of his and checking out a few appearances to which I never listened. There has been a lot of sadness, but also plenty of uncontrollable laughter. Like many of his fans, I'd imagine, revisiting our personal favorite moments of his every few months is nothing new. And that won't end anytime soon. Thank you, Harris. I wish I could have met you. I hope you knew how much you were loved and adored among comedy fans. And I mourn for you, your family, and your friends.
  19. I saw the picture of Lauren and James this morning and got really excited. Then I saw the title of the episode and I lost it. My only complaint is that I wish I hadn't seen the title of the episode before hitting play so I could have had the same reaction to Enter Sandman that I had at the last live CBB show in Chicago. This was amazing. "I'm not going to send Adam Scott to cater for you."
  20. A new minute of "what's the one?" every morning would drastically improve quality of life
  21. If there are any new listeners, I highly recommend episode #321 Big Fat Voice. It's a great example of a new guest coming in with a beloved but infrequent character, as well as a new character, to make a show that PFT would only describe as a delight.
  22. My thoughts are with Pam during these trying times.

Episode 7 — A Crazy Moment in Phishtory

The whole podcast is making my morning, but I'm losing it right now during the Marcus call.
  24. Another lost morning at work of having to use all my energy to prevent myself from bursting apart in laughter.
