Hey Matt-- I've spent my whole life hating country music. Well, I guess mainstream country music. The cringe-worthy over the top imagery of military, driving trucks, guns, homophobia, etc is more than I can stand. It's like watching fox news but worse. But your country (alt-country I think you called it???) artists have given me hope for country music. The punk ethos and lyrics but with a telecaster twang--I can dig that.

Only gim-ber-LICKingggg could draw that out of someone naturally. That boy and his dogs.

I wish Gil was on more. What a lineup. I feel like I'm always saying what a lineup. I4H has such an embarrassment of riches when it comes to talent. Gil was channeling Dom Dimello a little in the Disney scene. "Ben Shorts" "Did you say Ben Schwartz?" Oh man that killed me. And Mookie. He's Mookie. The best. I still go back and listen to that scene where Mookie launches into the pitch perfect crazy ranting guy voice from the youtube video. Legendary.

Wow zach woods was on fire alright. That line about god's cars was amazing and delivered like it was scripted. Of course Besser gets some credit for lobbing him the softball setup.
