Sean and Hayes - Ads on Comedy Bang Bang

Sure, let me have my gardener sift through hours upon hours of audio and make all those edits in Audacity (or GarageBand if I make him use the Pantry computer) and then remaster them back out to one single FLAC for you while my Chrysanthemums wither in the hot Northeast sun. -

Episode 91 β Tom Scharpling, Our Close Friend
RocHoover replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I'm close personal friends with someone who worked at that office (was never on camera) and has opinions on many of the people that ended up on the show. -
I'd like to jump in here and suggest that it is about damn time the engineers at Earwolf start mixing Jason and Farrell's microphones to opposite sides.. Somebody tell engineer Cody that incase he didn't notice the Sklar brothers are twins.. They look similar and sound almost identical.. Also alert him to the fact that we cant see which Sklar is speaking. The fans would KNOW who is speaking if say Jason was ALWAYS panned fully left and Randyman fully right. Instead I just have to scratch my head and credit jokes randomly.

I have had my ear to the ground and I am also close personal friends with some industry insiders and I CAN say that this ep is gaining a lot of traction in "Best Show" fan circles. -

Another "hanger on" looking for a Hollywood Handout. Get your own podcast Tom. That three hour long lump of caca that is sprinkled with John WORSTer doesn't count. I'm so sick of peoples using Sean and Haze as a springboard for their own careers. -
Episode 90 β Brian Huskey, Our LIVE Friend

That great thing about Sean is that he is never leashed by his own genius. -
One of the great things about the McGurl Document is that it is on Google Docs. If I am out and about I can easily bring it up for reference by opening Google Drive on my Android phone. Marketing idea: The Hollywood Handbook Phone. Runs Android with The McGurl Document pre loaded and free subscription to IMDB Pro.

Episode 55 β Lauren Lapkus, Our Close Friend

I noted a major mistake in this episode : The joke should have been Freak-of-nomics and not Freak-ing-nomics. -
Dies ANYONE know who Dr. Phil was? That was hilarious, but I can't figure out who it is. Help me Earwolf Podcast Forum Community, you're my only hope!

Man I hope the gig the guys got screwed out of wasn't the all star bowling show. They were pumped, Chris SEEMED pumped, and I am happy for the boys and the bowling show itself. They are the perfect hosts.

Episode 84 β No Holds Barred: LIVE!
RocHoover replied to JulyDiaz's topic in How Did This Get Made?
So this was touched on, but to extrapolate.. RIP's brother goes from being a paraplegic, to a quadriplegic, to then standing on his own. All within a span of two weeks (the film distinctly mentions two weeks around the point of the hospital montage) So to recap: he is in the hospital in a slight coma and seems to begin rehab. There is a spot in the rehab Montage where RIP's brother is walking on parallel bars while SUPPORTING HIS WEIGHT WITH HIS ARMS, then during the third act at the TV studio he appears to be a quadriplegic as he can now barely move his pinky and fingers during the fight. Also, continuing in the insane movie logic: Zeus attempts to impale Rip with the ring post. If he succeeded rip would have suffered a gruesome and grizzly death.... On live network television. Kurt Fuller' character was also egging Zeus on to actually murder rip as well. This is kind of implying that there would be no repercussions (jail, lawsuits, etc.) to the fact that a murder took place with not only witnesses in attendance but also broadcast live to the world. No matter how powerful he is, there is a ton of evidence that would hold the TV exec responsible at the very least for some kind of criminal neglect lawsuit or something if Zeus succeeded in murdering rip -
There were a few times where they were silently cracking up. 46:20 is great. "I have that jetski and I ride it." you can hear them trying to stifle laughter. Good stuff!!

Loved every part of the episode...EXCEPT Half way through when Marion was talking about his first TV deal which centered around him being a chef you can hear Engineer Frank get a Google Talk message by the notable Google Talk 'ding' that came over the audio. This is unbelievably inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Engineer Frank; if you are out there reading this you need to take a long hard look in the mirror. Shame on you. Brett Morris or Cody would NEVER let such an atrocity occur. Listen. I will find it within my heart to forgive you, but you also have to be able to forgive yourself. You can't beat yourself up over this too much. Be the 'Engineer Frank' that deep down inside you know you can be

The Frighteners, oh my god, THE FRIGHTENERS!
RocHoover replied to KommyKat's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
No love for Jim Fyfe? To me the Frighteners was about one courageous actor breaking the bonds of HBO kid specials such as "Buy Me That" and "Buy Me That 2" so that he could move on to bigger projects that being a ghost in a Zemeckis produced film would provide. -
We as the Earwolf podcast listener/fan community need to take action. Bear arms if you will to assist our beloved Howie in his battle against the affliction known simply as "The ClenchΒ©". Upon countless hours of research I have come to the conclusion that Mr. Kremer's clench is unknown amongst medical scholars which is quite troublesome. This summer I will be embarking on a half mile run to raise awareness for Howard Kremer and "The ClenchΒ©" and I encourage you all to do the same. Do it because you love Earwolf, because you love Who Carted.. And most of all.. Do it for Howard. I will attempt to document the training regimen that I will have to undergo in preparation for the run as this will be a test of both mind and body. If any of you also choose to participate in your own Race for the Clench Cure be prepared for the possibility of a media circus that may occur due to the hype that will most likely surround the effort to raise awareness for this unknown plight. If you are interviewed or approached by any news or media outlet as you ramp up for your event, please adhere to the following procedures: 1: First and foremost refer to this illness as "The Clench". We need to give this monster an identity. We need to demonize this horrible disease to generate public support. 2: You will undoubtably be asked to describe "The Clench". As the Clench is SO RARE in humans we need to adhere to Mr. Kremer's description of this mystery of science. And adhere to it closely, so please relisten to the back catalog until you feel comfortable with Howards definition. It is widely suspected that this was contracted in utero and has kept Howard compromised his entire life (which is speculated to be 20 some odd years now.) Keep in mind Howards date of birth is unknown among us commoners outside of the Earwolf family, so we can only speculate how long the effects of The Clench can last. 3: Try to sneak in and use the word "Earwolf" as many times as possible. Your local newspaper or news channel will be essentially acting as a plug bag, reaching out to many thousands of people. Mr. Aukerman, you better nut up the bandwidth. Shits gon git REAL when Earwolf traffic goes through the roof. Ad money will be pouring into the Earwolf studio faster than you can say "why is all this ad money here in cash and not in a bank account?". In summation: Lets find a cure. Side note: Has Howard ever mentioned that he tried Rolfing? It is supposed to re set your muscular connective tissues and reset your posture. Sounds like the cure. Maybe I dont need to do the race?

I'm a big fan of Jason Nash. I'm so glad he has his own episode. He seems like an untapped vein in the comedy world. His characters are some of the funniest things that I have found in podcast land. I can't get enough of him.

Episode 141 β You Make Your Bed, You Thigh In It
RocHoover replied to admin's topic in Sklarbro Country
I went and re-watched "Real Men" for the first time in probably 20 years. Fun movie. John Ritter was great. Sometimes the really goofy movies with nothing at stake are funny and enjoyable. Found it in entirety on YouTube! Give it a watch if its been a while and you have some time to kill. I'm glad one of the Sklars mentioned it! -
Howard Kremer was inappropriately docked points during "Would You Rather?" for 'asking a question' before the floor was open for questions. Howard made a statement and did not form it as a question. Stuff like this fucks with my numbers. Dr. Roc Hoover PhD
