Agreed. At times, he sounded downright disrespectful.

ALW: "Because you know a fanny pack is something that is very disgusting." Scott: "Yeah, that's what they wear in those Cinemax porn movies ... to protect themselves ... from gettin' their fanny packed."

By coincidence I just binge-listened to all the Wengert episodes again last week, so this new one comes at a great time. Looking forward to it! "My grandmother was a rude-boy."

Nice design, but I kind of wish that the shirts had Harris' name and/or picture on them. Something like "In Memory of Harris Wittels," but maybe it's on the back b/c I can see what's there in the pics.

Harris' obituary is beautifully written and covers the whole scope of his career: http://houstonjewishfunerals.com/obituaries.html?view=detail&id=470

Loved the episode, and the Harris compilation at the end gave me chills. He was so funny. Thanks to Scott and the whole Earwolf team for putting this together and releasing it.

I don't know it is helpful to look at it as "he did it." Addiction is a disease; people who are easily addicted have imbalances in their brain chemicals. & most of them work hard to try to get off drugs. It's not easy for them. It's a constant battle. Placing blame on the addicted person isn't really helpful. It is good to take the message away from all this that drugs are deadly, but once a person is into addiction and finding it difficult to get out, they aren't trying to overdose or push the limits in a reckless way; they are just trying to not feel the sickness that comes one when they're body doesn''t have the drug.

I can't listen to that episode again. It's too close. That episode was tough at the time it dropped and scared the shit out of me. You're a stronger man than I.

I wouldn't say they're dropping the ball. They're probably just taking their time for the proper tribute. They don't have a one-on-one interview episode with Harris like WTF and YMIW. They did blackout their profile & background pics of FB last night.

I would love a supercut episode of all his best stuff from CBB, but then again, I could just go back and listen to all his appearances.

This hit me harder that I ever thought the death of a celebrity I didn't know would. Harris was such a great comedic mind and contributed so much to the world of comedy in his short time with us. It makes me angry to think how much more he would have contributed if he'd been given all the years that everyone deserves. After the YMIW episode, I was seriously worried about him. His voice sounded shaky, & it seemed he was scared at what a hold heroin had taken on him so quickly. His eagerness to get his story out seemed like a cry for help. I only wish I was in a position to help him more but what was a dumb fan like me to do. After the YMIW episode, I Tweeted him my support, sharing that I was in recovery as well (only for alcohol), He favorited the Tweet and that simple act by him put me on the moon (#humblebrag). I followed up with a Tweet about how funny I thought he was. Later, after he had had Twitter silence for a week or so, I Tweeted at him, saying I was worried about him. He didn't respond, but soon enough he started Tweeting jokes again, posting plugs for DSOWD and I thought all was right with the world again and that I had just been being a silly, paranoid, negative person This is a day I feared so long that would happen, and, just when I thought it was safe, that it wouldn't happen, we are all knocked on our asses by this fucking so sorrowful news. Harris, you brought so many people so much joy. You're legacy is filled to the brim with so many hilarious moments. You accomplished so much for a man of your young age. I have been paralyzed with grief since I heard this news. I will miss you so much. Fuck drugs & alcohol.

I totally agree with this one. It does not have a critics score on RT, so I can't add it to the HDTGM recommendations site, but I think if the gang were ever going to do a horrible comedy, this should be the one. Written by Murray Langston, the aforementioned Unknown Comic, it stars Pat Paulsen, not only an entertainer but a politician, as well as LINDA BLAIR and Pat Morita as "Rape Victim." It is about a cop who moonlights as the Unknown Comic, and what it considers funny gags includes a guy slipping on dog shit, and man being gang-raped by women, and more! Available on Amazon streaming (not sure about Netflix)

I'm making my case for this one again: Big names (Gabrielle Byrne, Brad Pitt, Kim Bassinger) in a horrible movie. A cartoon HAS SEX with a human and then COMES TO LIFE. The film made back only half its budget. Kim Bassinger won the Razzie for Worst Actress. From Wikipedia: "The concept of the film involved a cartoon and human having sex and conceiving a hybrid child who visits the real world to murder the father who abandoned her. Bakshi (the producer) states that Paramount Pictures 'bought the idea in ten seconds.'" Also from Wikipedia: "Basinger had attempted to rewrite the film halfway into its production because she 'thought it would be great [...] if she would be able to show this picture in hospitals to sick children'"[!!!!!!!!!] Via Wikipedia: "The film's animators were never given a screenplay." I'm not sure about Netflix, etc., but this movie IS available via Amazon streaming; it's free to watch if you have a Prime membership. Paul, I think this one would give you guys a LOT of material.

Very slight omission: I was surprised they didn't talk about the inordinate number of times that the two main characters refer to each other as "Tango" & "Cash." It's almost like one guy can can't talk the other without addressing him by his last name.

This made me laugh. It's mostly visual so I'm not sure if the guys can use it, but they and the fans might get a kick out of it. http://skaorimprov.tumblr.com/?og=1
