    Color of Night

Oh, man. He wrote the screenplay for Air America too.

    Color of Night

I can't believe this one wasn't on here. Nominated for 9 Golden Raspberry Awards (including Worst Screen Couple ("Any combination of two people from the entire cast")), won one. Budget was $40 MIllion; only made $19 Million. 26% on Rotten Tomatoes. Big names: Bruce Willis, Lance Hendrickson, Scott Bakula, plus Jane March, Brad Dourif, Lesley Ann Warren & Ruben Blades & Eric La Salle. This movie is basically sex scenes cobbled together with a plot involving Bruce Willis as a psychoanalyst who is unable to see the color red and must find a killer among a therapy group. This one will definitely baffle the panel as other movies like Sleepaway Camp have.

    Idle Hands

Takes the disembodied hand coming to life idea from Evil Dead II and makes a whole movie out of it. Features Devon Sawa, Seth Green, Vivica A. Fox, Jessica Alba and The Offspring. Fred Willard in a small part. Robert Englund as the voice of the hand. Budget: $25 Million. Box Office: just over $4 million. 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. When my friend and I saw this in the theater on opening night (I'm so ashamed) we were the only ones there. Fails as both a horror movie and a comedy.

    Idle Hands

That scene yields one of the few good lines of the movie: "I'm not going through all this Tanya. Go back that way."

    The Lawnmower Man (1992)

So it was about Second Life?

    Idle Hands

They played They played that up in the trailer, but it wasn't even that. It's mostly Devon Sawa running around like an idiot. (I loved Final Destination though). The best part is Seth Green and the other friend, but "best part" is reaalllllllly strectching it.

    The Lawnmower Man (1992)

That's true indeed. I am ashamed to say that I saw this one in the theater. Part of the problem with it is that Fahey's character is so dopey in the beginning that it's impossible to take him seriously as a bad guy later on. The director of this movie also directed Virtuosity, which has an even lower RT rating, but I have never seen that one. Virtualy reality, huh? Whatever happened to THAT?

    Shocker (1989)

I used to watch a lot of horror movies, and I actually kind of enjoyed watching this one, but not because it was a "good" movie. Craven is really adept at counterbalancing the horror with some humorous scenes, but in this one, it was difficult to tell what was supposed to be funny and what was funny because it was so cheesy. A lot of the unintentional humor is watching the actors playing the killer's host bodies trying to mimic him.

    The Chase (1994)

29% on RT. Stars Charle Sheen & Kristie Swanson. Frequent ad libbing by Henry Rollins (as a cop). Cameos by Flea, Anthony Kiedis (Kieds) & Ron Jeremy. Cary Elwes as a news anchor. And a baffling high-speed-chase in-car sex scene.

    They Live (1988)

Too much of a cult favorite to really rip on. (I loved it; Saw it in the theater & a million times since then). The only way they could do this is if they did a tribute version with Carpenter, Roddy Piper & Keith David.

    Cool World (1992)

According to Don Dimello, they're something for daddy. And I just want to vote again for this movie. If there ever was a perfect definition "bonkers," it's this movie. I know that Paul, June, & Jason's commentary on this would be hilarious and, literally, amazing.
  12. Was there a catchphrase at the beginning of this ep? If so I totally missed it. Anyone know what it was?
  13. Faith No More? Speak for yourselves, infidels.
  14. Also on HDTGM, with a brief riff on town meetings.
  15. It was a sultry summer day despite the shade of the weeping willow where she had taken him as her lover. At first she thought she was in for one of those long, lazy Sunday-afternoon fucks that humid days often lended themselves to, but then she realized that his movements had nearly stopped completely and that he was slowly dying of heat exhaustion.
  16. This ep was a great start to my morning, but nothing really starts my morning like Mountain Dew Kickstart.
  17. I agree with what everyone is saying, re: Everyone was on their A game. Scott couldn't have hoped for a better panel to carry him through his illness (not that it really detracted from his performance either). I was actually surprised that Jeselnik worked so well in this format. I love his stand-up, but I didn't realize he could work so well with others too. I guess maybe from the cocky persona he does on stage I thought we would be above being on a show with characters, games, etc., but man did he prove me wrong. For the whole show, I thoght Cordero was the same person that did Anthony Rivera (It's like, whatewers), but then I saw that that was Brent Weinbach. Man what a great week for CBB this week.
  18. Thursday CBB! God fucking YES!!! I was relying on this to get me through the week. Oh, and Anthony Jeselnik as a guest? buh-buh-buh-BONUS-S-s-s-s-s!!!
  19. Comedy Bang Bang. It's like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but without the hackneyed dancing, nutty grandfather, and numerous child kidnappings.
  20. This is Comedy Bang Bang and I'm your host, Scott Aukerman. Say, have I ever told you about my background in the theater?
  21. Maybe PFT's Andrew Lloyd Weber can put on a production of Phantom at the Largo.
  22. Got me wondering whether they were BOTH in Grease 2. Dede Pfeiffer WAS in a piece-of-garbage movie, though: The Allnighter with Susannah Hoffs.
  23. Life is like a box of chocolates; sooner or later, there's always fucking coconut.
  24. Welcome to Hollywood, where we wear suit coats over novelty T-Shirts and nobody seems to mind.
