I would say around Mulholland Drive everything got a little more crazy and more industrial feel. I love Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, dune was ok at best. The Elephant Man can't remember seeing all of it.Eraserhead is Eraserhead.take it or leave it. and lets not forget Twin Peaks, I love Twin Peaks. "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me" was at best ok, but it wasn't needed for the story. and just left us with more questions then answers and really just screw ball nonsense. Kind of like Tom Waits music did, it got almost to the point of unlistenable by the late 80s with "Mule Variations" by "Bone Machine" it was just like at that point forget it. I still like "Nighthawks at the Diner" "Swordfishtrombones" "Rain Dogs" and "franks wild years" 24 Hour Party Pizza, to clarify your talking about this Alps (2011) and NOT "The Alps" and "Dogtooth.2009" I'll check them out when I have the time. thanks.

Episode 138 - The Boy Next Door (w/ Heather Anne Campbell, Ben Siemon)

I use photoshop, and windows resizer most of the time. and that does the job. Most good Photoshop type programs have a option for resizing images..Not sure if your using windows or apple or IPad, around the time when Microsoft was making Windows XP they had a group of tools called Powertoys. one was called resizer. here is the open source clone version of it, that works on windows 7 and up. http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/ it lets you right click on a image and resize it and make it a more internet friendly size. it's also useful for sending photos to friends and phones that can eat up a lot of space real quickly. When I got into DSLR cameras I am now eating photos at a rate of 6MB to 8MB per photo. and those are mostly RAW. -
I tried to watching "A Field In England" twice now and I feel like I am missing some sort of drug, like LSD, I don't do drugs but I just could not get into the mood to enjoy that film. ohh btw, you guys and ladys. Tom Hiddleston is also in the Night Manager a great tv mini SERIES, He's a really great actor. Never watched any of his marvel movies but I did enjoy him in both programs I have talked about here. the Night Manager and HIghRise. Check out the the Night Manager it's worth your time.

I don't think the source picture on amazon was very well done. That happens alot. because it's often people who just scan it them selfs who don't have a clue about what they are doing. I am sure if you order it, that it looks just like the one in the movie. but god damn it looks just like it as close as anything else so far. all that was missing was the five star review, from this guy. Noah Sandborn "got this as a gift for my hot wife nextdoor, needless to say It worked, I nailed her. and she thinks shes a book scholar. Ohh and thank you UPS for getting it here real fast." This person also got, Rope, hunters knife. duct tape that sad part is it doesn't take much to fool people , i recommend anyone to watch the movie " " -

when it first came out it was called, an Albert Hitchcock film. one of the greatest movies of all time. I love that movie even if it's turning into mylife story. was also called "Something Wild" one of Ray Liotta's greatest hits. "Has that guy got a man bun!!!" "and these are the stupid stoners down the street, he calls them that because they are stupid stoners down the street!." "and on the left is the ass hole truck, he calls them that because they are asshole's who drive a black track with tinted windows all around, who knows what kinds of shenanigans they are getting up to in that." -

and now a public service announcement. -
is starting to drag a little, too many pointless characters that have story lines that don't seem to go nowhere. I'll watch it to the end but I most likely will never re-watch it. I wish I could of just waited and watched it all together is the way to do it. but too many story leakers around to not watch it. Mind you I guess you could watch lost now even if you have a good working idea of the ending of it all. Mind you I remember working hard to guess and all the clues are there but none of was executed well in the end. lets watch one more episode of

how do you all keep track of them all, like how do you know how many movies you've watch? Not that I am doing the doug loves movies challenge, just curious.

it's on itunes but you have to buy the full movie. 9 dollars in sd, if you select that option it's a bit cheaper. Look for that option if you want it a bit lower in price. if you buy it on amazon, make sure you use the earwolf promo code. http://www.earwolf.com/insider/ Found my copy in the collection, right next to samural cop, outcast, tusk, blended, the number 23, blown away. all waiting for ya paul.

Best line in the film was "i am merely chewed in self-defense but I never swallowed" I agree it was bad. " In the Name of the King" level of bad. I remember that line because I had taken notes. That and Draco, the gentle dragon! he warns you before he burns your crops down. Reminds me of this from Kids in the hall, Skoora the gentle shark! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMOtMWD63Q4

after watching this movie, I don't think we are going to really miss much here. it was really goddamn long.

end of subject. if you don't cry when you hear this song in this film then you don't have any feelings.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jtpf8N5IDE its a song that once you hear it, you think about the film, it's so owned by that film. like May of not been such a great movie if it wasn't for queen, like star wars without john williams soundtrack, but god dam once you hear the two together it just works. and once you hear princess of the universe in the first what five minutes of the film you know you got to turn that home theatre system up, and turn on the subwoofer because tonight it's movie night! because it's a kind of magic. it's just got all the right elements that make a great movie.
