12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue
jarrycanada replied to AlienDingus's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I am not sure, that's no "The Amazing Wizard of Paws" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDl08xXCsRQ anyone want to start a talking dog movie challenge here? The film has to have kids and talking dogs in it, those are the rules... I call it a "dog off" I know i can win this. LOL evil grin. -
I feel bad now that I didn't watch community, had I known that jason was on it. Maybe I would of watched it. I am not sure why I didn't like it. I like Joel McHale's soup show.Hmmm

if it makes you feel better paul, my eyes feel like they are going to fall out of my head in pain from the eye strain that this has caused me.

then this is for you Cameron H, you have to watch it now.. "Casablanca" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQv7CUn54sE When I was younger I loved SCTV, still do as you can tell. but they would do parody's of movies. One of them was Midnight cowboy. I never really got all of the jokes tell later on when I had forced myself to watch midnight cowboy this was years later and i really enjoyed it. Casablanca is a classic and if your in the right mood for it, I think you would really enjoy it. that's the key really is being in the right mood and frame of mind when watching a classic. other wise you'll just not let it have a chance. vertigo was that for me, I didn't really like it at first but years later I watched a cleaned up newly restored version and its one of my favorite movies of all time.

jarrycanada replied to Grand Moff Talkin''s topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I still have yet to have ever watched Speed Racer that movie has been PVRed more times in my house then any other film and yet never watched. I've tried to watch it and then hit stop or it's gotten deleted because of space needed on the drive. LOL,I kid you not. and it's got Matthew Fox and Christina Ricci how could you lose? that and deathrace the remake, I love Jason Statham and Ian McShane, so I should, you would think. like this movie but I can't some how find the will to force myself to watch it. -

That reminds me. I don't think paul and the gang would ever do a show about a starwars movie. but this is as close as it's going to get -
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)
jarrycanada replied to neals79's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
It's a good close second, it's got the most dust on it of all of my video collection of star wars movies. maybe a finger print from where i maybe touched a part of the case, but only by pure accident. it's no as yoda would say. there is another, Phantom that needs to be done first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n5qVJEg3qA and it's done by the same studio 20th century fox afterthought, that trailer really gets me every time. what a peace of shit. is the guy doing the voice over on the trailer talking about the same movie here? I wounder was paul williams the inspiration for -
Little boy, was good. oK it was unexpected but I cried like a baby by the end of that. This tune is for you . I remember seeing South park the movie, bigger longer in Canada is a theater, it was one of the most greatest movie events of my life. it was such a strange feeling watching Americans make fun on Canadians about a movie that is making fun of movie theater chains and rating systems. we had a moment in that theater, the audience and the screen really could feel like it was connected.. something on the level of this . wish I could find the Raiders of the Lost Ark line, it was down to a bank building up about a block up the street.

You know, what was a great episode was "timothy green" episode of HDTGM, it was a movie I would of never in my life ever watch but when paul plays that clip from youtube with the kids crying. I laughed my ass off so hard. I'll never forget that moment. If you haven't seen the film yet, rent it on itunes right now and listen to the podcast afterwords. I am planing to watch little boy now. it looks amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_BdzqsIX6A I believe this is total shit.

So I'm going to watch this and report back on my findings, should I survive. Otherwise it was nice knowing you all and I hope you'll have a great holiday and a wonderful life..lol 11:30pm Kirt Cameron loves hot chocolate and we've got the Muslims to thank for it. Why do I get the feeling when kirk talks about other people hating Christmas, he's really meaning Jews. just an observation of this movie. I am beginning to relate more to Kirk's brother in law in the film. If Kirk Cameron was my brother-in-law and I had to spend Christmas with him, I wouldn't be too thrilled about it ether. Why doesn't he just drink his hot chocolate and leave everyone alone, god dam it! I am going to go and sit in the garage with the car running, like I usually do. Why did we not get a house with no garage.. Christmas intervention time? Kirt can't mind his own business and goes looking for the brother inlaw, see what's really wrong here is that the brother in law has gone off his med's. god wants me to stop taking my meds. Because they mask the truth of Christmas. 12 am to 1 am, now it's getting like the tv show 24. Kirk Cameron's explanation of Jesus's birth makes no sense to me. so I've got to re-watch it. he's really got a way of talking, and turning truths and manipulating them into his believes. Pretty sure the manger was made out of shit brick, like most builds in the middle east country side are. but what ever. For me that's what I saw when I was in Egypt heading to Vally of kings years ago, Carry on. Only 30 mins into this. Kirk's talking about trees lots in the car, that carbon dioxide got to be kicking in anytime soon now. I am so hoping so. 42min mark story of Santa Claus is amazing. Just hope Kirk and his brother-in-law don't freeze to death in their SUV before the story gets finished. That would be a real tragedy.. Mind you, that would really happen if this was in Canada. So it looks like according to Kirk Cameron, Santa Claus was a lot like Hulk Hogan. Your welcome brother! and he is Sinterklaas. looks like he's going with the Dutch version of Christmas. this is so worth renting and fast forwarding just for that scene alone. Kirk coaches the brother-in-law back into the house and his explanation about what Christmas presents, nutcrackers and what it's all about is amazing work of art. now this is the second best part of the movie, as it turns into like and it's all just mind-blowingly crazy. he is making all of these connections with Christmas that are just simply not there. he over analyzing everything as having deep meaning when there really isn't simply anything there.. at this point I feel like saying this to . Then Andre kicks it in the house some hip hop style Christmas tunes. That's just what this movie needed, let the only annoying black guy sing. On a sad note related to Andre was picked up for possession of a illegal narcotic on his way home and is now facing a ten years in prison. he was also charged with impersonation of a Rap hiphop artist. Kurt's Brother-in-law Steve and wife got divorced shortly after Christmas.. They got into a fight about Easter and that was just too much for her. I'm going to bed...it's 1:30am Thank god this is over. On a finial thought, Jerry springier style. if your biggest problem this Christmas is that you feel it's too commercialize and that it's lost it's true meaning, if that's your biggest problem this holiday season. then sit down, drink your hot chocolate and then leave. don't wounder around my house looking for me. I am just where i want to be.. and don't be afraid to say Marry fringing Christmas, regardless of offending someone else. just remember it's a statutory holiday and they are celebrating it, if they like it or not. I kid. I am sorry this was so long. but for me this movie was alot of fun to watch and most likely is the most bat shit crazy Christmas movie i've ever seen. the trailer is nothing like what the film is about. it's misleading if anything. don't feel bad about giving kirk money to make movies think of it as investing in a crazy mans dreams to make shit films.

anyone some sort of clue? bueller!!!
-
what I was meaning by that was if you didn't know he was in the film the better the surprise would be. because i didn't know Patrick Stewart was in it and when he came up on screen it made me laugh too and smile. I also liked seeing the guy from clockwork orange. I think that was Alex's stepdad, can't remember that actors name.90% sure it was him. also the film is marketed as being directed by Tobe Hooper of Poltergist and you can see that same style of film making in Lifeforce. what podcast are you talking about btw? I am a little slow and out of it, it's been a long day.
-
and now after thinking about lifeforce, it makes me understand stawars episode three better. that's a good . If you have not seen lifeforce yet then i'll warn you there is a lot of booby traps in this movie...LOL so much so that the wikipedia page on the subject should have lifeforce added to the page as en example.
-
You should of used the spoiler tag for Patrick Stewart because he stole this movie for me. he has a screen stealing moment in it that just is amazing. and because of that this movie belongs on another podcast, called thank god this got made because I loved this movie.

I've been saying this for years but my suspicions have now been confirmed, ikea bathroom titles kill people! I got upset with two parts of this movie, one was when the juice lady was screwing around with the blender playing a screw up version of will it blend. and the second time was when no one would simply pour water on what looked like a commodore 128 computer, I've also got a good working idea who was behind all of this. also fish ties are not funny and they don't make good gifts.and I think we all know who nic cage would of clearly played a part in this film. this movie was at one point marketed as the title witch bitch. I've found it twice on horrorpedia
