Fuck yes! lets do this.. where can we see this? I like how in the trailer they address the baby as the baby! Conspiracy theory: I am not sure about this but they have never done a movie earlier then the 1980's so I am not sure if they are even acknowledging on the show that movies even been made before such a time. because they have not done any earlier movies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcjPBLwDkLc

Is there a catch-all Earwolf RSS feed?
jarrycanada replied to myhandleonearwolf's topic in General Earwolf
You could take something like Yahoo pipes and make your own master feed. that would let you have one RSS feed to rule them all. Mind you that's a bit crazy if you ask me. https://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/ -
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
jarrycanada replied to teedle's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Most of the time the IMDB site /app is spot on. I Find that on Rotton tomatoes scores to be wrong most of the time but not here. you can't bank on any of them.. just because a movie is rated 8% on IMDB doesn't mean it's going to be good. BTW. I have every movie I ever own listed in IMDB, Ryan Sz. or ever watched. almost every movie. I use that app a lot to keep track of my films. -
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
jarrycanada replied to teedle's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Rotton tomatoes scores. Madmax 95% Road Warrior 100% Thunderdome 81% IMDB: Madmax 7.0 Road Warrior 7.6 ? WHAT THE FUCK! Thunderdome 6.1 Well once again, I guess my job here is done. I've manage to prove nothing. I going back to practicing my break dancing moves then, I almost got that move down. that one can be very tricky. I guess I am showing my age is all. because I remember that madmax movie blowing my mind. but that was back in the days of beta tape and rental shops.. Strange things are afoot at the circle K! -
You've got two votes now, after watching some of the movie on youtube ,and reading the break down of Breakin buzzfeed I am sold, but I have that bad feeling I've seen this movie before, it just didn't stick with me. Question of the day: If Jean-Claude Van Damme and Vin Diesel had a dance off who would win? A little game I like to call VIN or VAN?

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
jarrycanada replied to teedle's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
PlanBFromOuterSpace - for god sake please tell me you get the tina turner music video on the blu-ray set? I mean when you think of madmax the first thing that comes to mind is we don't need another hero music video. that's a fucking classic, I tell yeah. -
PlanBFromOuterSpace - you love that picture don't ya. I can tell it brings a smile to your face each time you look at it. :-)

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
jarrycanada replied to teedle's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I do have to dare say it that thunderdome is the weaker mad max movie. but it still is a good movie when you compare it to some of todays big action films. I think we should wait and see how bad or good the new mad max movie's are first. one sure thing it's got no tina turner in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcm-tOGiva0 -
The Death of Superman Lives; What Happened? Full Trailer
jarrycanada replied to firsttimecallerlongtimelistenr's topic in How Did This Get Made?
I was just going to post this and you beat me to it. it's fucking amazing eh... This would of been the greatest movie ever made. I can't wait to see this documentary. I've watch the trailer about 10 times now. The mind blowing part was who was going to play Jimmy Olsen. -
it's 10% on Rotten tomatoes.

I lost count and interest in the Hellraiser movies around the third one. it was really getting bad, adult movie bad. May as well been a hustler movie production. The box, you opened it and we... well you get the rest of where I am going with that. Those movies had gone from cool to really bad quickly by the third one. there has been rumors that a relaunch is in the works. I like clive barker even if he's comes across as a bit of a creep. his worst movie is still Nightbreed..mind you Lord of Illusions is no picnic ether. that's got Scott Bakula in it so you know it's going to be good if he's the lead actor.

I feel the real lesson we can all take away from this movie is to have your pets spayed or neutered or they will rape your kids.
-
OK so I listened to the show and I think i understand the lesson the kid learned from Gooby. on shopping if you wear a stupied Gooby mask and outfit and walk into any grocery store and start eating anything you like. The odds are most stores are not going to call the police on you. at one point your going to find you'll have most of the store to your self.

Blast Hardcheese wrote: " 1. Why build a super train with an engine that requires small children to keep it running? This seems like a very glaring flaw in the overall design of this technologically advanced locomotive. " it wasn't build to need children at all, but it's been running for so long that it has started to need repair and they don't have parts to fix it. this is explaned in the movie at the end , Small children are the only people small enough to get inside the engine of the train and fix it. Blast Hardcheese wrote:2. "Why, if they front passengers were so brutal and callous, would they continue to ferry all of the poor, seemingly useless tail section passengers? Why not keep just a few families (in order to farm their children for "engine duty") and jettison the rest of these people whom they have absolutely no regard for? It's like the elite front passengers aboard the train was begging for a revolution." as for question two the movie it's self is sort of like those 1970s end of the world films. Much like Logan's Run, Soylent Green style of glum and doom overpopulation problems that is the stuff of good scifi. The young must eat the old in order for us to survive. but by doing so we destroy our self's in the doing. we become less then human, a repeated theme.

after watching this incredibility long movie and it does feel too long. kind of like this review. I now have a good working idea of what Michael Keaton's computer room at his home now looks like. as I have a bad feeling the director just shot all of his scenes on the weekend at his summer house. Note: you never see him anyplace else. This may belong on a show I would like to pitch called why did this get made. $ We need to talk about this horrible piece of shit of a video game movie this is Need for speed. First off, I don't ever recall seeing a Helicopter in any of the need for speed video games that I played.or a radio station style disc jockey. this movie at times feels like it wanted to be a The Fast and the Furious copy cat film as it feels more like that film then anything like a need for speed video game. Watching this at home on my tv not in 3d. I could clearly see the over misuse of 3d image elements that for me just scream gimmick and added nothing to the film it's self or story if you can say there is much of a story. because that's thin at times too. Scott Mescudi as the loveable Benny the helicopter pilot. this added a much needed comedy relief to the film, some times you need a loveable stereo type black guy who's just there to hang out along the ride. he's got this amazing skill for finding new Helicopters to ride along during the chase scenes with his buddy Tobey. Imogen Poots as the British girl. what an amazing accent work she did here in this film. it's like she spent a full hour watching BBC one and said yes I think I got this... NOPE, she seems like she was struggling to pull that accent off because it fully shows in the movie. they even make fun of this fact at one point. edited later: note she is british but is not clear in story. Aaron Paul wasn't really all that bad in this movie. wasn't as good as he was in "A Long Way Down" but I was expecting his Breaking Bad character to show up here. didn't really happen. I was waiting for a Justice Pinkman style "Yo" but it never happened.

What about the refueling the car as they drive along the highway, that was a little mind blowing.
-
I've tried to watch this two times now and have given up, It's on cable tv all the dam time. but i can't help comparing it to "Heathers 1988" with Christian Slater & Winona Ryder. I love that movie it's a classic. it's sort of a dark comedy, Thriller. isn't Jawbreaker really just a shameless remake or should i just try a third time. Best parts of Heathers is the on going scenes with the preacher, he stole that movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVBIm_dillw

I agree it's like no one in this city has traffic cams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDz3-t8ioBk your right my bad, I cut and pasted the wrong name but didn't notice tell now. it's Imogen Poots, so you mean she's British and is trying to play American or is she....listen shes got a little London to her voice and then it comes and goes during the movie. it bug the hell out of me during the film. best line racing is an art!
