    Wrong

http://www.imdb.com/...ref_=fn_al_tt_1 this is a crazy movie but I really enjoyed it. its about this guy who loses his dog and uses a doggy psychic to help him find his lost love doggy.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwiwareLXzQ there is some really crazy messed up stuff that happens in this film. one guy goes around painting peoples cars for no real reason.

    Wrong

You know why is because there are so much crappy main stream movies being made each week that when something comes around that's less then mainstream it becomes refreshing to see. I'd reather seen a 10 great movies a year then a 100 so so movies that are most likely playing at any shopping mall movie theater. This is from the director of Rubber. I never seen that film. but I now plan to now as I really liked this film.

By The Way, it needs video

Anyone else notice this. I really enjoy this podcast By The Way, with Jeff Garlin but because it's done with a live audience, often the listern feels like they are missing some part of the show by listening to it. as often what happens the show gets too visual and the listnern has no clue what the hell they are doing on stage during the show. there is no spoken reference to what is going on stage.. the guests and the host need to be reminded that they are doing a podcast and that the listern doesn't know what they are doing on stage when it comes to live podcasts. too often i feel like I am missing part of the show. I wish earwolf would do a video podcast version of this show, like Kevin Pollak's Chat Show. thank you for your time.

    Silver Linings Playbook

Speaking of Les Misérables, for me you know who stole the show was Sacha Baron Cohen he was great in this movie. The rest of the movie fast forward. also did anyone notice the camara work was really odd, they used a lot of zoom in's on the actors faces. almost like 3d house of horrors from SCTV. yet the film wasn't in 3d.

    Silver Linings Playbook

I watched almost all of the oscar movis this year and out of all of them, I didn't mind Silver Linings Playbook it was a campy safe comedy. an evening's night entertainment. The one I had trouble with was Les Misérables I mean Russell Crowe sings. think about that one for a second. then try watching it. I had to hit the fast forward button a lot to get thought that movie. That's the movie I'd like to see, shame on you guys for picking on Silver Linings Playbook.

    InAPPropriate Comedy (2013)

You know how people tape them selfs reactions to two girls one cup and upload them on youtube. they should do that with this movie trailer. My reaction would be right at the moment Rob Schneider comes up on the screen. that is the breaking point of interest in this film. it almost had me up on tell that moment.

    Olympus Has Fallen

Never heard of it tell just now. will check it out.
  9. Just got to the end, best part of this movie is the end credits. I wish they would of given Ray Liotta a hand gun, Jason Statham a car, and Ron Perlman a chopper style motorcycle and a cigar then you would have a perfect train wreck of a movie. First thing that comes to my mind, How come Ray Wise isn't in this movie, he would of made a perfect wizard. This film is just so nuts it may as well have handguns in it. because i don't think the director takes anything he does seriously so it's all that is really missing from the film. Guys with guns shooting dragons and wizards. Lock and load... Did anyone else find the music in this super annoying.
  10. i tried to watch this movie last night like I said tried. I so wanted to get up and fast forward. Ray Liota is so out of character it's like he's just got off the set of another movie.that was in production at the time. it's possible because according to IMDB he made about 6 other films that year.. that or I think what really happen is no one had the nerve to break it to Liota that he was in a Fantasy movie. so they got a blue screen and shot him alone in a room and didn't tell him what kind of movie he was in. Director Uwe Boll is clearly a film genus and follows the artistic style of Paul Morrissey where every shot is a good shot in the bag baby, cut next scene!!! I need some more coke style of film making. all of those good actors are clearly thrown to the wind. The movie it's self feels like a ABC back to school special. Ork masks, look like they are the cheapest masks I've ever seen i'll have to watch the rest of this later tonight but it's really painful to watch. as there are so many good actors and misused.

    Prometheus (2012)

jimkiler that sums it up... sillstaw I can't beleave you have not seen Alien. Please goto a video store and buy the collection, life is too short to have never seen alien, all you need to see is the first two.. How does one go through life and never have seen alien or aliens. I mean do you not have cable.? it's like on tv every single day like Seinfeld. http://www.amazon.co...&keywords=alien I think the real problem people have is they are expecting a aliens movie when it wasn't a aliens movie at all. I guess that is why they called the film Prometheus.

    Prometheus (2012)

You see, Shannon has my point taken. You watch a trailer, read some reviews and get all excited for a big blockbuster movie and get let down.Yet the movie isn't all that bad if your in the right frame of mind and don't expect too much from it or don't try and over analyze it. The studios spend way too much money advertising and hyping up a film at times and some times it works against them. it's sorta like a good comedy movie case in point, "Austin Powers". the marketing of the movie with a trailer that revealed too much and when I got around to seeing the film I didn't laugh at all. I was annoyed. yet years later I watched it on video and enjoyed it. after I had forgoten all of the sillyness that happened in the film. Sometimes you can see a movie trailer and you get more then you expect but those movies are very limited. Quentin Tarantino can do that. when I had seen Django Unchained trailer for the first time I got so excited and you know what, it delivered. but how many home runs can a movie director shot out of the ball park.

    Prometheus (2012)

Ya they seem to be old buds, Lindelof did HDTGM show about superman2,3 and Paul was part of the lost comic con panels, he played a super fan and in the video podcasts for lost, he shows up over and over again type his name into youtube plus lost and you'll find them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1h8Flk18SE

    Prometheus (2012)

as anyone who listens to this podcast knows, Paul Scheer is a personal friend of Damon Lindelof so it is technical possible but will it ever happen hell no. I don't think paul would hurt Lindelof's feelings. So you could bet money that he's never do it. personally I didn't mind this film. I watched it with a open mind and had very low expectations, so I enjoyed it.

    Caligula (1979)

I Remember reading that Midnight cowboy got a x rating in the 1960s and in the last 10-20 years got re-rated down to a R. Not that it really needs a R Rating eather by todays standards. http://www.amazon.co...ywords=Caligula I thouht Caligula got re-rated too down to a R too as it's not really that pornographic next to other modern day movies. movies like the cook chef wife and her lover. if only there was a place i could look that up...

    Coneheads (1993)

one of those didn't get better with time style right to cable tv movies. Nothing really to see here. wasn't really all that funny the first time. mind you maybe I was too old for this movie.

    Caligula (1979)

This movie was done in Malcolm McDowell's coke days. he got very scary looking after this movie and could not work for a long time.I am not sure is this movie still considered a x rated movie? at one point of the making of this movie Bob Guccione had to steal his own movie back and edit in more sex scenes to get his movie made the way he wanted it. I remember seeing this movie once, it isn't really all that good. if memory serves me. I like Malcolm McDowell's btw. But you got to becareful of his movies because he signs up for everything. I think he does Bar Mitzvahs and dinner theatre.

    the hobbit

Forget 3D, I needed to score some magic mushrooms that would of given me the power to enjoy this film. or some of Gandalf Wacky Tobacky or what ever he's smokes in that pipe. This movie was way too dam long and btw I did read the hobbit and this could of been clearlly made into one movie to tell this full story. after seeing this movie i have mean thinking to my self. they MADE THREE OF THESE! good god. I also find my self thinking about Ian McKellen and his methed of acting from the HBO tv show Extras. if you have not seen it, just goto amazon and buy a copy of the full season one to three, you'll thank me later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZOrUgt4nys I would of disagresed with this being recommended for HDTGM but after watching From Justin To Kelly I would take anything over that horrible movie, even a good movie.
  21. This movie was such a pain to watch, if you can call it that, I fast forwarded a lot of the songs, oopps I am bad. the podcast made up for the unwatchable show. good job,

    American horror story

I don;t know how they would make this into a show anyway. because it's a full long season and that would take a lot longer then one hour to talk about it.

    Star Wars Holiday Special

I don't condone drugs use, but even stoned out on drugs high as kit, this movie woudn't make a great show. Plus most people like my self have never watch it all the way to the ending.

    American horror story

I like this show, a lot. What I really enjoyed about it is each season is it's own story. too many times in amarican tv do they drag out shorys to the point that you just don't care how it's going to end. Hawaii Five-0 is a great example. first season they start out with this plot line about McGarrett's father and this toolbox and inside his toolbox it had clues inside it to solve the case. move on to season to season three they have already forgoten about the toolbox and the story line about the death of the father. so for me i would rather have a shorter 12 episode one season rap it all at the end and move on then a 8 season 24 episode run it to death show. a great tv show that i really love is the UK version of Sherlock. It's like night and day better then the us version. and its only 3 episodes to a season but each one is so well done it's like a mini movie. I'd rather have less good tv then hours of drag it on forever style tv making. btw i enjoyed season two, but I have to admit i watched it all in one go. I set my PVR to just record it and watch one or two episodes each night. these kind of shows are like that, game of throness is like that. you should watch it all together in one go. not all in one sitting mind you but not each week. Watching it week to week you forget about story lines and twists. This happen with lost, people who watch it week to week had a different experience then those who watch it on video all in the sitting. that can effect how you like a show too. I started watching lost on dvd the first season then watch it week to week as i got sucked into it. but i wish I would have waited and watch it all together on dvd. WIth AHS there are too many charactors and story twists to follow that some times don't pay off. right now btw I am watching the wire.it's one of those shows I would not of wanted to watch week to week.,
