You had me all psyched for this one, Was. But then I just found it average (which is still good). I mean, definitely funny and I love them, but I'm not giving it any awards. Maybe I was just in a bad mood though, and it was just me. I'll see what else y'all say and then maybe see about getting some Xanax. Last week I nearly choked on funny with Kyle's body rapping, so I'd give my award to that one.

First of all, I'm so glad the issue with the mother meditation was resolved. I felt awful about it the first time he did it, but knew Kyle was completely oblivious to how it might come off. So, phew. Good recovery. Also, the songs that Kyle plays after the throwing it around happens make me laugh. A lot.

Rude.

I'm also curious to know why you didn't like it, 2128m. Honestly, this show stayed on topic more than most PBs, which I'm not so sure I was crazy about. And while I see what he was saying about the advantages of adopting with regard to carbon footprints and what-not, people tax credits or no, people who want to start a family generally don't have $50,000 at their disposal. Especially people who want to start a family a little earlier in life. To summarize, I think the award for today's show goes to Kyle.

It also reminded me of a college lecture! Needless to say I was a college drop-out... So perhaps I lack sufficient intelligence and attention span to hang with this one.

Good gravy! I like it better when Tig, Kyle, and David actually get to talk and make me laugh. Also, where's Aaron? Did the professor take him??

Now I'm ordinarily not an lol-er... But this one? Seriously. I was crying at one point. And I would also like to know if there is one among us who, as soon as they were alone in their car or home, did NOT say aloud: "All my lil' outfits. In my lil' suitcase." Because I surely did.

ββ¦her [the white girl in the book] voice came really naturally to me.β Really? I never would have guessed. My favorite parts were when the guys (AND GAL!) were talking over this chick. I canβt decide whether it is a compliment to those not included or incredibly racist to limit the represented position of privilege and trivial βproblemsβ to only white girls. But I have to agree that Kyle definitely had the best view of luck and made a lot of sense. Lastly, poor, poor, Aaron.

Kyle is just the cutest! And yes, Metzger and his knowledge of AIDS (and most of the rest of what he said) was bs. But Kyle did seem almost uncomfortable with it, and seemed like he tried to move on as soon he could and then ended the call. His convo with Metzger didn't last too long, and the rest of the show was better, so if you can skip past that or get through it, I would suggest trying to listen again.

I was initially really sad that David didn't say "I love you" to his mother, so I'm glad he explained it as something unusual. But he really should have just said it anyway!

Episode 120 β Live from Portland / Law
memichelle replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Professor Blastoff
Agreed! I was definitely not feeling the guest early-on. But then when the audience started resorting to such douchebaggery, I forgot most of my reservations about the guest and was in full-on hate with the stupid audience members! So I guess they were good for that. -

Worst audience ever! Why were those people even there? -
I really doubt that people who adopt Asian babies are doing it to feel better about themselves. I'm sure you can't even begin to understand a couple/woman's struggle with infertility and the heartbreak and difficulty that ensues with trying to adopt an infant in the US. It is a reality that there are Asian babies that need parents. And I'm sure adoptive parents of Asian babies do not see them as their "Asian babies." They likely just call them their child.

So the people who write the jokes are not racist/sexist (because they are your friends and you know them). They are just being forced to be racist/sexist by everyone in the midwest? Awesome.

Totes one of my favorites! Jackie is great! You were all great. Kyles song made me lol. There was one time though when Kyle said "that would be good in a rap." But I took it to mean "wrap" at first, thinking he was going to try to market a bacon ranch iguana wrap.

Not sure what sort of expertise Li could add, since he pretty much always says everything ever is racist. I mean, I could do that if they want!

First CBB I've listened to in a while that didn't have a cum joke that make me nearly puke. Keep up the good work!!
-
I remember that, too! But I couldn't find it in the opening credits. Could it have been a different show? Anyway, definitely a thing!

Cheese and rice! Nice try, but there is NO WAY that confusing a yam and sweet potato is racist. Ridiculous. I quit. I will never not pay for this free podcast again!

A new Professor Blastoff and beef jerky are pretty much the only things getting me through this particular Tuesday. So, I hope this is a good one. No pressure, but you guys are my only hope.

Episode 202 β Philip Traumatic Seymour Disorder
memichelle replied to admin's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Big fan. Long time listener. But SERIOUSLY!! This one made me gag. For reals. Maybe you need to attach a special rating to episodes that have the potential of resulting in vomit? Not to generalize, but maybe a "no girls allowed" sign?? -
A note to Kyle's niece: DUDE!! Your uncle is dating Sarah Silverman! That's cool enough, gal. Forget Daniel Radcliffe. Pshhhaw! The most notable famous brush I had growing up is that my dad once rode an elevator with Leslie Nielsen in Las Vegas and he made fake fart noises (Leslie, not my dad).
