dear god the noise that Lapkus made after explaining peeing and pooping around the dead father's head (right around 53 minutes) and Scott asking if her publicist knew about it damn near killed me on my morning commute. It almost sounds like they dubbed in a response from HoHo (HOHO!)

Episode 1723 - Jen Kirkman

I bought an old season which I've been watching a bit of daily, and hearing this episode rather than seeing it did NOT give me a nice charge. I may have to subscribe to the coming season this year, I just really wish an active membership gave you access to the backlog of video, would make the $$ a lot more worth it -
I agree, you're probably wrong this is just like people reacting to Whitney Cummings on CBB with "lets just say I skipped to the first commercial break", great... that's mature of you You can assume anything you want to about people from hearing a sentence they spoke on a podcast, but at the end of the day you should remind yourself that it came from your brain, not theirs. A guy reacted quickly to someone mentioning a movie that probably was not up his alley. If he was asked if he saw Inside Out and he responded the same way, what mean conclusion would you then draw?

Suddenly realizing its.... BEEN AWWHIIIIIIIILE since we had a CBB weather report or any mention of Hollywood Nights. Is this season canon?

Was listening to some of this a second time last night and caught Scott's mentioning Gabe Kaplan and Battle of the Network Stars, followed by saying something along the lines of "well talk about that quite a bit at some point in the near future", which to me means one he's recorded in the bag for later release will delve into the great Jewish actor and athlete Gabe Kaplan. I'm excited, because I remember George and Gil bringing him up when they were on with Lizzie (no relation) Caplan years ago, so I'm crossing my fingers that we get yet another great show for all da tuna heads out here
-
Yeah, bummer, and I don't know why he's doing it. When he came by my city touring I happily paid money to see him purely based off of my fondness for his podcast appearances
-
Can we also get David Cross on as main guest, with Adomian as Larry the Cable guy?
-
I'd also add Dermot Mulroney/Dylan McDermott to that and Chris Rock/Richard Pryor... no?

Episode 1722 - Scott Aukerman

....I could get used to this -
In case Howie is listening, I'm pretty sure I'd buy a "Hey Gang!" shirt with Howard's face on it if someone didn't buy it for me beforehand
-
I got some good laughs out of that boolean vs bouillon conversation, but I was a tiny bit disappointed that there wasn't better banter with Todd and Zach. I recall the Todd/Andy Samberg episode being amazing and was hoping they'd have the same rapport against Scott
-
and lastly I thought he meant more of a European look, like a Spanish or Greek guy. Once again a culture commonly stereotyped as laying the cologne on prettttty thick

Episode 1721 - Matt Oswalt

Crazy how much like Patton he sounds while looking almost nothing like him, genetics are a funny thing Didn't get there yet but glad the gang is talking Making a Murderer, cant get enough of that Steven Avery talk -
I loved this episode and specifically Howard and Brody's banter. I want Brody in there whenever Ku is out, even though he cant really host, even if you want a cohost in there, get Brody if he's available. I would support a two charted that just featured Howard/Brody/Stard hanging out, or they could even just start it as a new podcast called "Hey Gang" I wish Ku was there for this exchange that went uncommented on: about cologne SBS-you know what? Maybe I over shot it, maybe I put too much on HMK-With what your look could be confused for... I would say don't go too hard on all that cologne what was Howard even saying about Brody's "look" here?

Bill Crystal, Bobby DeNeers, the cast of Pokemon

You mean Br'er Bear? I do still want to know what ever happened to the 4th guy dressed like a cereal mascot
-
I thought it was criminal that Mailer Daemon was much higher than Too Much Tuna Tour, some people have a very strong hatred of Kroll and/or Gil and George I guess... man I'm glad I'm not one of those people
-
Great ep guys, loving the new format, it just seems to make a lot more sense
-
I forget where exactly it fit in, but I recall Scott making some off the cuff remark to PFT about rich white guys... that had to be a reference to he who we are all talking about, right?
-
Yeah obviously this is opinion, but I think what "Hamilton" has become is far too big for Lin to come on CBB, and I would also assume Scott wouldn't even consider that a possibility, but having someone on to get some laughs out of the phenomenon that it has become is definitely in his wheelhouse. Like how making jokes about Serial was all over Earwolf podcasts last year

Episode 1719 - Jake Fogelnest
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
I think ad copy is the main reason I don't listen to that, am I wrong or is the first sometimes 15-20 minutes of the show BS and ads? -
I'm thinking Kroll would play him, but maybe only for a quick "call in"
-
Thanks for that, I thought the insanity had died down but man... that guy has a loose grip on reality

The NNF ads are usually the best, Scott tries but I feel like he's always rehashing the same bits in his ad copy. Jimmy and Matt always come off natural and new -
Episode 17R - Pat Francis
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
this was a nice surprise, I just bought an old season of player's club, picked the wrong week to think I could get thru a huge backlog of NNF episodes
