I'll be honest, I listened to more of the episode over the weekend when I had a drive and didn't want the radio. I stopped listening when the guest was in an irate tantrum calling some female musician a bitch over and over again, and I'm not that PC, don't take things too seriously, but this felt like elementary school 'comedy' to me and I turned it off. In listening to more, he did have some comedic moments that entertained me, like his turn as Ringo Starr. I still felt like he was trying to force some shtick rather than it being birthed organically, but I wasn't as sure of him being a talentless hack after listening to more. However... I agree with your statement about Kulap's replacements being good almost all of the time, and Howard's replacement being who Kulap picked... I am not going to search the banks of my memory for a long list of substitutes I'd give my approval for, but Hayes from Hollywood Handbook could be great just based on his recent episode. I for one would really like more earwolf crossover, but maybe recording times are all spaced out so the hosts arent always just at jobsite hanging around. I think it would be super funny if Scott sometimes popped in during two charted, or howard popped into CBB. I think most Chartists would be on board with just about any earwolf regulars popping in for a few minutes of two charted, it has that laid back atmosphere basically all of the time.

Episode 1708 - Jon Hamm
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
So I still have a half hour to go... on the podcast, but I can't help but be intrigued by Jimmy's mystery character actor. I had an image of a guy I've seen somewhere who looks like a broke-ass John C McGinley, and I just found his name is Boris McGiver. Since I'm sure Jimmy comes to the Airwolf message boards, is this the man Jimmy? -
That's what I did and I'm proud of that decision. I would rather listen to the worst Never Not Funny pre-guest babble for 4 hours than this for 20 minutes. This guy is literally the worst, and makes me unhappy that he gets paid to write funny things yet he thought that was funny. The kind of dumb lowest common denominator bullshit that Kulap would probably be offended by if it was thrown her way on Twitter and not in her face on mic

Fury Road seems to have a decent per capita

EPISODE 27 - Underneath the Eiffel Tower: Live from Largo
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
Wow I had no idea Gourley was with Amanda Lund, now there's a lucky, lucky man -
The Dr Conrad Murray part was killing me on my drive in, its taking a lot of effort to save the end for my drive home since I heard Fabrice peek his voice out as I was getting out of the car this morning. Since it seems all of his shows and relationships are ending, can we get some more Kroll in our CBB? I'd love to see him become a regular again the way Mantzouks has been on a lot lately. Maybe a Kroll/Daly appearance as the Rich Dicks talking about their favorite politician, Donald Trump

The Jupiter Ecscelsias: The Trial of Shkeborek Nine are probably the funniest words ever spoken on this podcast, I need just Howie saying that as my ringtone, or at least him pitching it Shark Tank style on the next WhoCh

EPISODE 375 — Wompler's REAL 17th B-Day Womptacular
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
The pool party episode I think last summer, maybe 2 ago was brilliant. This one had a little too much insanity where everyone yelled, but that one was when the Wompler/Lissler duo cracked into hall of fame material to me. The eps with just them are often great, but these birthday party eps with Brian Huskey and Mantzoukas hit a new level -
You were right Howie, Tom Izzo's crew is in fact the Spartans

Episode 1704 - Larry Miller
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Yeah I agree, and I don't want to say anything bad about Larry himself because I think he's been a legend in the past, but yeah not 'the best' episode ever for sure -
Episode 1704 - Larry Miller
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
Looking forward to this (havent gotten to Larry getting on mic yet), I've always thought of Larry as a Jimmy type of comedian, who can bring the funny to any conversation regardless of anyone else in the room being funny -
oh hey a forum thread! Do we need to pay for these now?

I agree, but regardless "Girlshits" was clearly the best band name mentioned on the podcast. I spit up my blood and I wasn't even drinking any Solid round out of Horatio here, he manages to make a lot of laughs with a weak meandering character, and that voice was so awful-great

Great ep, and if this is Hayes 'out of character' I'm sad that he is on that podcast always in character. The delight I had in listening to this ep has made me consider giving HH another try, but truthfully I just want he and Howard to start their own podcast, or have Hayes start coming to Two Charted just because he fit in so well

Its as Anne as the look on Plain's face can this just be a playground for Arrested Development themed username holders?

Episode 98 — John Cochran Again, Our Close Friend
StanSitwell replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
ugh, fuck Cochran so hard. Guy really needs to get over himself -
I could be wrong because we're discussing words spoken on a recording, but I thought they were talking about "chicken applesauce" as in applesauce with bits of chicken in it. I think applesauce can be eaten on the same plate as just about any meat, so I don't think they were saying eating applesauce and chicken in the same meal was insane, just that eating a 'chicken-applesauce' would be

EPISODE 246 — Fifth Hand Tom Cruise Gossip
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
Wasn't Armen saying "I havent heard this one" a lot when he was on last? seems like all the guest hosts do it, so whats the big deal? -
revisiting the madness that is this movie and episode of HDTGM, and they should really just do a sequel to the episode and have Paul Rudd on, maybe they can get to the bottom of how the Conan bit came to be

so I've never listened to nerd poker, not into D+D but I love Tommy Middledee, so should I listen to this or will I be lost do you guys think?

Howl news aside, This ep was crazy fun, the pre-character segment was just such a good time, because they kept cracking each other up to a degree not normally heard on the podcast

Yeah I am a stingy low middle class poor working full time, trying to fund a future life but listening to so many earwolf podcasts for free makes it easy for me to make the decision to go see Scott do CBB live when it showed up in my city, and go see Howie Kremer perform live, buy people's CD's, buy a CBB TV DVD. If I end up paying monthly or annually for access to podcasts, I would definitely stop being such a merch and tour supporter of Earwolf alums. I am not going to be so bold as to say if you start something free and then ask for money for it, you're a jerk... that's just the way things go sometimes. They need to build a viewer/listener base and get them attached to something before they could ever expect anyone to pay money, but I'm afraid to listen to this episode now that I know it will have info that will be hard for my ears and wallet to swallow

Episode 1701 - James Urbaniak
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Never Not Funny: The Jimmy Pardo Podcast
anybody watch last weekend's Race to Escape, god that was brutal. I wanted to backhand the guy emptying stuffed animals about 15 times before it was over, great ep though -

No lie, Thursday night I was slumming on the couch at night since I had Friday off for my company picnic, and Vanilla Sky was on some local movie channel. Weird coincidence I thought
