oh god, go to your bathroom, look in the mirror, and speak on that to yourself for hours or days

I am thinking that most of the chartists are not Fetty Wap's target audience, but is anyone reading this a fan of "Trap Queen"? I find this song to be completely awful, I've heard nothing of the beat and its tune, the lyrics, or the guy's voice that are in any way redeeming. Most new 'rap' or hiphop seems to be less of what the genre used to be and more awful electronic pared down beats with that same awful cop out of voices saying "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" at every off beat, but usually when they are top charting hits, I can hear what the general public is latching onto in the song or the artist. I 100% don't get this song's strength, its not like "Coco" where its comedic value was without a doubt buoying its popularity. somebody explain what they respect or like about that song, I want to have some faith in humanity

Am I the only one who has seriously been missing the Woody Allen Entourage bit? Iiiiiiits been plenty long enough since he cut down his use of it to unleash it now that the Entourage movie is out

EPISODE 235 — Vision Impaired, Still Prepared
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
Summah Says was fun, I'm starting to think Howard could be massively successful if he started making more of these songs with Stard but without any adult language or themes. I think kids would really like the nonsense that comes out of Howard's brain -

EPISODE 235 — Vision Impaired, Still Prepared
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Who Charted?
Great work there Stard, I was sitting in my car thinking "Next - Too Close, Next - Too Close, Next - Too Close" until they settled on it being a Brian McKnight song I've never heard. I'm relieved to hear that there isn't too many famous dance songs about getting a boner on the dance floor -
Hah! started listening on my phone this morning and when I got to work and came to the page, I forgot Mike Mitchell was going to be on the episode. So I see the ep photo and I thought that Mike sat in for the photo as a stand-in Reggie and I almost spat coffee to the ceiling oh well, Mike Keaton aint cheatin'

Absolutely do not care about garen's movie updates being spoiled. I guess I'm not a players club member though, so maybe thats more the crowd that will care Gettin some CARmel Jim? -
Don't think I did but you're free to your opinion. If this was 9 pages of people replying to normal forum posts with Adomian-as-Bernie-Sanders lines and YOUKNOWWHATIMTALKINGABLOUT!!!! maybe I would say fair point and I'm sure I'd be calling those people annoying like I did last week, but since that isn't the case, I'll just say I staunchly disagree with you
-
Agreed, I'd liken James' Bernie to his Huell Howser or Jesse the body, but he has his sect of characters with the purpose of tearing down like Leykis or Dov Charney. He can make absurd humans into even more absurd characters or just take people that give him hilarious voices and have fun with some make-em-up weirdness
-
HAHAHA special little snowflake much? That person didn't quote you, they didn't say 'you', they merely shared their views on James' characters and the smart details he finds ways to sneak in, and you think "awww this jerk is saying I don't get his references!!", other than the fact that it came right after your post, theres no reason to assume its about you or only about you. everything isn't about you...
-
I was loving Bernie Sanders. The character itself didn't have any amazing stories, but the voice itself and the way James plays it was killing me. Had just watched him on last week's Getting Doug doing the Sanders voice so it was a nice extension of that.

that's something to brag about! quick, everyone, lets say "speak on that" to each other BLECH!!!!!!!!!

smart move coming to the forum to let everyone know that you havent listened and don't want spoilees -
Larry Bud Melman made his return! Finally Scott can rest easy

thanks, no matter my opinions on podcasts, everyone should understand that my reading of "an assortment of ice creams and sorbets" needs to be properly appreciated
-
Yeah I can definitely see that similarity, but maybe its just me but for me, just 1 listen was too much of their 'in' jokes so to speak. As a CBB enthusiast, I could hear Scott add a "its been awhile" "my wiiiiife" "woody allen: what about the murphy group" 100 times in a row and find it funny, but I know a new listener would be annoyed half to death, and I think that's whats happening here. Reading some of these 400 posts has bummed me out slightly. The "farmy brat" line early on was something that I thought was next-level, but apparently thats a well worn bit? I was thinking, wow he came up with that gem pretty quick
-
But you'd also hear on mic off mic laughter from literally nothing. Are these 2 guys so in love with each other that no matter the subject, one has to start fake snickering the second the other starts speaking? That was god awful and just grated on me the entire episode. Was fully on board in the first 45 or so, the table read was not up to CBB standards, sorry HHHeads. Will definitely not start regularly listening to it if I'm going to have to put up with the forced snickering. Seriously don't understand how any of you didn't find that distracting. Stop jimmy fallon-ing and back away from the mic if you cant hold back laughter every 9 seconds!!
-
Wow, see the table read was what I thought was awful about the episode. I enjoyed Hayes and Sean during the interview portion, and I think that was still a lot of their shtick rather than general CBB randomness, but it completely devolved in that table read. It felt like a situation that could come up on a normal CBB episode and be done very well but to me it was completely forgettable, the 2 extra players gave me nothing memorable. Would have been very into it if I stopped listening when that started
-
I find "awfully pleased with themselves" to be THE perfect way of putting it, thank you for summarizing my own thoughts I didn't know I had so well
-
I'm open to starting to listen to these guys, if it weren't for the amount of annoying reached by their fans, this is fucking awful let them be annoying stooges guys, they make it at least a little funny...

So happy to hear Howard again, that mini-pod he recorded from Dragon Manor had me worried he'd be gone a few weeks

EPISODE 350 — Helmets, Aqueduct, Crucifixion, and Boobs
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I agree that Conan would be great in either form of the show, and Jimmy Pardo is also a friend of the show and an employee of Conan. I assume that his life is just so busy with having to put on 4 shows a week that he isn't inviting more media time into his life, I can't blame him one bit
