I think PFT is just as good if not better at inhabiting multiple characters without it being obvious. On the episode with the Origin Story donation, he was killing at that

She was also great/bad in the amazing(ly bad) 88 Minutes which was reviewed by How Did This Get Made

That Gerbil talk made my commute home stuck in awful traffic just a little bit better thanks for that good fellas -
I smell overkill, might try to avoid listening to it so the CBB appearances will still be funny to me

I see you in that UConn shirt Dunnigan GO HUSKIES!!!!!

How am I the first person to point out "Horse penis got biggies", I was hysterical on my drive to work this morning THAT was the clear correct choice for the title of this Pcast, and side note Thomas, I like to say Pcast too (at least when texting)

EPISODE 341 — Banging the Table with Stars
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
One of my favorite bits forever, theres so many little bonus laughs in the editing and such. For example, when Scotty Auks as "Theo Brixton" is in the kitchen gabbing with Cross and the rest of the crowd, but he's also in the other room screaming to Gary for more popcorn. My favorite moment is one of the Odenkirk freeze frames. When they freeze it on a flash going off while he smokes a cig I lose it, and when they freeze a shot of him to show his character's name while he's mid-exhale. Pure comedy -
I love it when little weird things like that happen. They were once talking about Sprite and it was literally spoken the same second I was looking at a Sprite billboard on my drive home, blew my mind!!

EPISODE 341 — Banging the Table with Stars
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
but to be fair, that was different... he was close to awful, it almost felt like Scott had him on blindly in some sort of "punk'd-ing" like that Ashram Kitchen fellow speaking of Gil Faizon, has he ever brought up Robert Durst? I dont know why but after watching the Jinx, I felt like this might be one of the New York persona names that has popped up but flew completely over my head because I didn't know the story until recently. So if Kroll hasn't worked in any Bob Durst references, he definitely should. The name just sounds right coming out in the Faizon-voice. Something along the lines of a: "well this was back when we were hanging out at Bob Durst's place, snorting c'cane off his wife's missing torso and talkin about the good old days" -
EPISODE 341 — Banging the Table with Stars

I too felt like the musical guest were not the best. More a fan of Torquill than Amy, and what a fan I am of that name... Why do people get so insane whenever anyone shares their opinion and it isn't completely roses and tulips? I agree that saying the guest was "horrible" or "awful" is a bit much, but if you want to say that you werent the biggest fan of a guest or you just felt like they didnt blend in well, what the hell is wrong with that? Please people, don't pretend this is like what you want your kids elementary school to be like, where everyone just says how much they love each other and everyone is hilarious and great and respectful and amazing. it's real life, its a forum, where people come to trade opinions and thoughts, agree that things were downright hilarious or more boring than usual. So if someone thinks it was boring or a guest didnt fit in well, give your opinion, say why you think they might be wrong, but don't be mean and awful with the reason being because you think a person was too mean or awful... -

Episode 1606 - Alison Rosen

wow it is crazy how much she sounds like Lisa Kudrow once Jimmy drops that comparison I don't find her to be downright hilarious, but she's a very pleasant podcast guest, always down for more Rosen-Quantz -
wow I'd never even thought of the sunny gang coming on and then basically being their characs from the show on CBB. That would be awesome, and "Charlie Kelly" would be one of the best WYR players ever, he would totally buy in the ridiculous scenarios

HAHAH, basically had an aneurysm at work when I heard.... "1 bone, 2 bone, bunchabones, digits! 1 bone, 2 bone, bunchabones, digits! whether you're a bird, or your a ___________ well I dont want to say... the little person"

I was a fan of Kanye, maybe I'll like his new stuff he's releasing now... but dont make this about 'kanye fans', because to me its just touchy people in general who think that an improv bit ending up at Kanye's dead mother is grounds for riot and protest. Hey you people, just get the F out, because clearly the majority had no problem with it. you are the exceptions not the rule, go ahead and be offended, tweet at them, but keep all the whining and complaining off of here. You arent going to change things so next time this happens you'll hear scott interrupt Horatio and then 30 seconds of the show disappears from the recording...

Please come to Boston with that tour and bring DJ Zouks

I have gladly seen a lot of tips for me here in the comments since posting that, and I am 100% an Adam Pally fan, so I will likely listen to that today.

I agree, Horatio immediately turned it into laughs merely based on using the word Titties for effect, which got me laughing. If you don't like it, don't like it, but I don't think it was that egregious. Also, I thought it was a neck job that she died during? either way, Horatio singing Ball on top to the tune of Love Lockdown was hilarious and so quick. I felt like most of the people there and on the panel had no idea what he was doing until he did it a second or third time.

disagree, tried to listen once because the guest was someone I liked, and it was just not fun for me. Maybe there were too many things that are HH bits, so I was out of the loop? Please give me a quick 5 of your favorite memorable episodes, for comedy sake, and not necessarily for self-referential bits. I want to pick up another earworlf-cast to round out my work week of commutes, but it failed to hook me before

but it also happens with Ho-ho, which is why "it" is now considered maybe a man or woman
-
That is one killer episode photo, reaction shot of "10 inches.... flaccid"?
-
definitely not, so give us your scathing review of his performance He did fine I thought, BAFTA's joke could have been delivered better, but it was quick so I'll give him that

EPISODE 337 — The Ying and the Yankovic
StanSitwell replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Wow buddy, calm the F down. The person came out and wanted to be celebrated because of the Nobel Prize worthy cause of raising a child who only appreciates Weird Al music, so what a great and amazing person that makes them... My point was simply that liking only parody music doesn't an amazing person make, but I guess I'm not entitled to my opinion since it doesnt champion Weird Al as the only worthy musician to ever exist Fresh take hipster! -
