Episode 209 — China Adjacent Apartments

I think its hilarious that Howard gets asked enough about the power salad on twitter that he had to make this public service announcement before the show could start. I will admit that I have made the Howard Power Salad or "Hower Salad" sans lemon juice dressing, and I was into smoovies already but fell in love with his almond/almond smoovie. I don't care if it all comes from Pete Holmes, Howard should keep rolling out the recipes so chartists can live like true sultans of Summah

Episode 323 — Pie Quiz with Tears for Fears

I'd bet they knew they were coming in for a podcast, so they assumed no one would see them, and that they weren't ready for cameras. I know they're older gentlemen now, but you'd have to think being in the entertainment industry for decades has turned them a bit more fancy or high maintenance than they may have started out

Episode 324 — Golden Duchess Cruise Lines

Sorry but I see them as very similar things to do or say, using the word 'cute' is as nonsexual as a physical comment can get in my head. For instance saying someone is cute means 'they have a sweet face that makes me the opposite of angry', whereas using the words hot/sexy means 'looking at them makes me aroused sexually', a connotation I just don't get with the word cute. I guess I haven't seen the rash of sexist comments on the boards here, but I tend to not read them the moment the episode goes up, so maybe its been the moderating skimming the board of anything borderline. Since I haven't recalled seeing anything that came close to crossing the line (unless it was an obvious lame joke, which are rampant here due to the subject matter), to me its less of an issue to fix and more just lets make sure its respectful and sweet and not aggressive and rapey

Episode 324 — Golden Duchess Cruise Lines

Its only a problem or inconsistency if that person calls out a female, gay male poster, or just a straight guy with a man crush on Jon Hamm for saying something of that sort... Most of the posts here are people voicing their opinions. Most of those opinions are 'man this episode was great', 'this was alright but I'm not putting it in my best of for next year', 'I really liked that line where they said _______', 'that plugs theme was hilarious!!!', or 'Gabrus knocks it out of the park every time', but if that opinion is once in a while a perfectly tame and respectful admission of a crush or love of a guest's outfit, then voicing your opinion is completely unwarranted and unwelcomed? This is just absurd

Episode 324 — Golden Duchess Cruise Lines

Wait, I'm sorry, is someone writing "_______ is a real cutie" sexist garbage??? So if someone meets your 5 year old daughter and says oh boy she's a cutie pie, that's a dirty sexist comment? I fully agree if people are coming on here saying 'man when is so and so going to do some nude work, that chicks got a body that I want to get on!' but that isn't what were talking about at all. As a man I wouldn't be affected or offended if I were to read that 'oh man Jon Hamm looks handsome in the episode photos', or 'Nick Kroll's big fat Juuuush lips look lucious on the earwolf couch' This is getting over the top for reals

    Episode 208.5 — 11/28/14 TWO CHARTED 147

I was so happy to hear Howard make fun of that line in the TSwift song because it stood out to me as well. to me, the issue is why brag about being able to "turn a bad guy good for a weekend"? It is basically saying, 'I'm hot enough that a bad guy will act like a nice guy for a weekend in order to have sex with me and then return to being a bad boy immediately after' doesn't that just mean that bad guys know they have to put on an act to get in her pants, and it works?

Howard's use of the term "price point" as though he's stumping on QVC, kills me every time I'm halfway through and its gold just like always, thanks Earwolf
  8. I just came to earwolf to listen to the rest of two charted that I didn't get to on my commute, and boy was I pleasantly surprised that theres an all new Pcast to delve into Help me Wanda

    Episode 203 — Why Not

I've kept this dumb app on my phone since Paul Scheer was on CBB talking about it, phonily advertising how great it was. The reggae horn will forever make me laugh. To me it sounds like a mentally disabled person screaming with glee

Best of 2014: Stump for favorite episodes here!

I want to say this is the third non-summah I've been listening and it will be the first time I've voted... and this coming year I need to start writing down which ones I truly love above the others, so I wont be in the position I am right now. I'm skimming through most of the eps from early in the year to refresh my memory so my votes are truly informed. So everyone keep telling your top tens, so I can be reminded to skim some more I may have forgotten.

Is Anyone Else Annoyed by Scott Recently?

Please don't make the TV show taint the podcast. I am a huge fan of the podcast and I know a number of others who are who all dont watch the TV show because they don't find it funny at all. I think the TV status puts more pressure on, but it really feels less funny than the podcast. Its not as improvised and the pre-planned bits are often not funny enough for me. Listen to: Nick Kroll and John Mulaney (episode 174) Amy Poehler, Jason Mantzoukas, James Adomian (episode 176) I cant remember others but honestly, these 2 are so freaking funny I could listen every day and continue to laugh at them. Listen to these two, and if you don't like them, I wouldn't bother trying to like the podcast

    Episode 206.5 — 11/14/14 TWO CHARTED 145

I LITERALLY CANT believe Howard was in Uncle Sam, used to watch this for its awfulness when I was in college. If you can find this movie anywhere watch it, its got Isaac Hayes and awful special effects specifically near the end. Perfect bad movie for weekend drunkenness cracking jokes at its expense all the time. I will have to find a copy and keep my eyes peeled for Howard, checked IMDB and they do not list him as an actor in it... so if anyone knows where he is in it, please let me know

Will We Get a Farts and Procreation 4?!

Its always been good enough but the most recent was a little worse. They can get harris in with Adam Scott, that's enough for tons of fun for us fans. I think they maybe should break off Chaz Palmen-retti and toss her in with Andy Samberg and maybe Joe Lo Truglio for a Benign-9 themed annual episode. As parks and rec says goodbye and B99 maybe stays around for years, that could be the new annual event

Episode 206 — Career Killing Commercials

Suggestions are not production notes! I'm a huge fan of your presence on the Pcast Stard, and my hostility was 100% directed at the peasants on the board. It would never go your way unless you whistled into your phone while I was doing calculations nearby

Episode 206 — Career Killing Commercials

Wow this is insane, people defending spoiling of a movie without a warning? the excuse that its been out for a month? is that really the buffer time for when anything in a movie can be spoiled? I fully intend to see this movie but didn't read the book, have been busy on weekends, and enjoy watching movies at home too... when released on DVD. What % of people who saw the Sixth Sense do you people think saw it for the first time within the first month it came out?? The movie is called Gone Girl, and to me that's a major plot point in it... This isn't like someone saying the titanic sinks at the end.... well I guess I don't know what its like because I read the forum before I got to that point of the pcast. so thanks to those who got upset and commented, because as soon as they got to gone girl, I started skipping ahead until I could tell Eddie's story was over. i'm not one bit upset at eddie because he spoiled it without knowing it was a spoiler, nor would I expect it to be edited out. Stard, I say in the future if it seems a movie/TV show plot point has been spoiled, pop in a quick Kulap: "Chart Spoiler" audio clip so people know to skip ahead a few times so as to not get mildly upset, voice their upsetness, and then get massively bitched out by total bitch bitches in the forums for no damn reason

Episode 321 — Big Fat Voice

I didn't listen to all of the old ones, but one of the only jukebox jury's I can remember had Benny Schwaz as the guest. His reactions to the song "My Shorty's Taller Than Me" killed me, listened to that moment of the episode like 40 times

Episode 321 — Big Fat Voice

I am pumped too, I was just saying this past weekend that I could really use some CBB interns, either Gabrus or Lapkus Scottie gets us too addicted to one charac guest at a time and then we fiend for them when they're gone for a little while

loved "hot slob", totally killed me as I parked my car at work this morning

Episode 205 — The Beetlejuice Watchers

I think it was at the start of this one that I had a similar life imitating art moment. I had just squirted some purel into my hands when Kulap said that Howard had just done the same, freaked me out completely
  20. I had a very tough time coming to terms with that being Daly's voice. It sounded like Stewie and it sounded like Stewie being done by PFT, there were few little flourishes where I heard the beauty that is Mr Jon Daly's voice sneaking out where I thought "is that Kieds chiming in with a charac there?"

    Episode 204.5 — 10/31/14 TWO CHARTED 143

This killed me too, I really enjoy it when Howard loses it over something really mundane. That being said, I almost always am so in agreement with "How to Act" segments that I'm prone to yell at the stereo in my car "THANK YOU!!" this one was basic pedestrian care, which people just don't have. People who will walk in a couple or group on a sidewalk, approaching you, but not at all consider or realize that theyre taking up the entire path and will cut you off of it, who just keep walking without condensing down to single file.... what the F? also people who are approaching a crosswalk in a city street situation as you approach it driving in your car. If there are no cars behind me or coming the other way and you just strut into the street to make me stop, rather than assessing the situation and waiting for me to pass, you have violated the pedestrian code for city living. When I am the pedestrian I am always fully aware of the situation for the driver, being on foot it is very easy to stop moving, wait 5 seconds and then move the exact same speed you were moving... in a car, it is much more delay. City driving requires you to stop and start so many times that if you can let a car go by and then cross the street, you're a much more considerate person. Howard, I would like nothing more than to provide you with How to Act ideas, I run into them more than weekly

    CBB In Your Life

For the OP, when I've watched Mulaney's awful show, when they show "Nasim Pedrad" in the opening credits, I havent been able to resist shouting it in the Pardo voice. I will make references to adding reverb a la Todd Glass on UTU2TM

    Episode 202.5 — 10/17/14 TWO CHARTED 141

So Howard was almost a professional extra? Seinfeld spot and a restaurant's yelp profile are all I think it takes to make you a pro

Episode 316 — In the Larp Run

really? I suspect this works with a very low number of girls/women. I think PFT's humor is the kind that makes the average american woman say "who is this? why does this make you laugh?" Although my fiance does really enjoy Speakeasy episodes for some reason

Episode 202 — Big Ass Meals

wow weird, I dont have cable so I dont really see ads like I used to, never come across these. Go Lapkus! I cant believe she's gonna be in jurassic park, but having said that its probably great casting. Going to go out on a limb and guess that she's some sort of archeologist or researcher, but if she's a nerdy park goer that would work fine too. I rank Lauren as definitely one of the funniest ladies in the world, so any work she gets I'll be happy about, but I want to see her using her comedy chops, enough of these serious roles!!
