    Episode 283 - Spiritual Toddler

Fully agree, it felt like June Diane and her sister, or Scott Aukerman/Adam Scott level voice confusion whoever said it above, fully agree about Rihanna. She makes at times very good music, but everything lately comes off so lazy its impossible to like. I wish she'd make a full album of reggae-ish stuff, but the kids don't like that, they like awful cheap disposable bullcrap that is easy to hashtag, so "great" job Rihanna!
  2. I heard there's some mattress company called Hairy's, and they liked their mattresses so much they bought a razor factory in Germania. You get $100 off and they deliver it to you compressed into a box the size of an extra-large little-person

See I feel like Maxwell would hate that song because it doesn't make time-sense, but who knows. I have a feeling he's cool with "Time After Time", what could be better than having time and then having more time after it?

    Episode 419 - The 7th Anniversary Show!

While I didn't get to Baltz in this ep yet, I have to politely disagree with you about his output overall. In that last one where he was Tom Petty, it wasn't hilarious early on, but during the third segment he got a lot of great laughs in. the sugarbabies one with Zach G I thought he was great on just as much Tim Baltz Scotty!

    Episode 417 - The 3 Year Diet

Yeah? I know he's in car ads, the one that always sticks in my mind has a montage of he and a lady's life evolving, "we're never having kids", "we're never having more kids", "I'm never letting go". When he dropped a Toyota reference in the episode I figured his ads are probably for Toyota. Whats the deal with CBB guest improvisers and car ads, since Gourley is basically like VW's main guy EDIT: Hah, it is that state farm ad, it really feels like a car ad to me

Episode 418 - Paul Reiser and The Apple Tree

Boy I am going to be sick of Paul Reiser's voice by Saturday. Since I assume Scott has recorded a bunch of episodes he has in the can for the time of the CBB live tour, this maybe should have been delayed so we could get our Reiser in doses

I found something so subtle and funny about Gaul's charac, that blase attitude really rung true for a doctor to me

This was the kind of Scotty Stupidity that really gets me going on the Monday morning drive to work

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

I would also like to thank you for this, I checked out Toto's Africa and I think I know what I will be laughing at for a lot of time this weekend. If you haven't heard the guy who does Tourettes Karaoke, search that and never gonna give you up on youtube, its hilarious, and the guy himself puts it online, he sees the humor in it

Episode 416 - Silicone Bralley Poo Crew

Sorry bud, it really felt like the classic scummy "ohhhh, let me google that for you, asshole". sometimes you ask a question in a community of people knowing others will have the answer at the tip of their tongue and will want to engage about it, so I guess I've just built up a level of internet defensiveness due to previous encounters on message boards where someone takes something you've said out of context and calls you an asshole. So, this is my way of saying sorry I did that same thing to you!

Episode 416 - Silicone Bralley Poo Crew

Well thanks for the zing, I know about that but I thought I was just engaging in conversation with fellow earwolf fans and TJ Miller fans. TJ has been on earwolf podcasts, looks like a few Sklarbros, Totally Laime, Who Charted, and an NNF. I wonder if there is bad blood between Scott and TJ somehow

Episode 416 - Silicone Bralley Poo Crew

This a thousand times, I was thinking the other night, has TJ ever been on? Or been on in the last few years? because I can't recall it, and he would unquestionably bring a ton more laughs into the room. I recall him being on Never Not Funny a while back and that was an outstanding episode. Why no TJ Jagadowski??

Episode 416 - Silicone Bralley Poo Crew

I think since you are an asian person and the middleditch character is clearly an asian stereotype, you 100% have the right to be offended and I get that offense. I would say however, that this isn't a 'planned' character as far as I know and came up organically the first time the Silicon Valley boys were on, but overall I would say that the 'character work' on comedy bang bang is often pretty stereotype based. These comedians are using purely audio to convey and create these characters that have to be somewhat unique from their others and other guests' other characters, so I think it would be tough for them to come up with numerous characters that don't offend somebody. I will just say that in terms of stereotypical accents, I don't think this is overtly offensive. I could be forgetting pretty awful offensive references, but I don't think Thomas was making stereotypical hurtful asian references. To me, there are references you can get away with and references you absolutely cannot, (i.e. if Thomas made reference to eating cats/dogs, I think that would go a bit over the top) but also I think a lot of the laughter here both by the listeners and by the other humans present in the room is due to the fact that this is a bad character, i.e. offensive. So I get where you're coming from completely, but the overwhelming majority of CBB characters are not hurtful, and at times the comedians do push the limits to get a bit of that nervous laughter where they know its too far and thats some of the fun. I don't think you'll see Thomas Middleditch touring the country doing hour sets of his asian character

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

Well no, it wouldn't be 'funny', and the people getting offended aren't the ones saying "I didn't think this was very funny", its the ones who can't stand anyone sharing an opinion that isn't effusively positive if it is said about someone who is not a white man. They're offended that someone could possibly have anything but praise and that someone would dare share said opinion Scott can book Cameron all he wants, and myself and others will share our thoughts on the episodes, so in conclusion nothing will change

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

Give "Law School" a watch, its interesting now due to the cast and subject matter of Better Call Saul. "Charles McCutchence vs Harrison Greely the 3rd" is also always great during an election season. I also make sure to hit "Talkin bout the weather report" whenever I go on a streak of Mr Show stuff

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

are you serious?? The person's post who you blew up said it was 100% vitriolic comments about Cameron... is that true? Is it anywhere near close to true? I think the vitriol:support-that-knows-no-limits is at like 3:100, so once again.... grow some spines children people you encounter in life will have differing opinions than you, show your support for the side you agree with, maybe try to explain with respect why you disagree with someone, move on People here are not like they are at a sports website, this isn't cyber-bullying, this is people being critical and other people crying and threatening to call the cops, their mommy, or the teacher because of it. Let's all just breathe and go on with our lives like adults

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

I haven't listened to this yet so I'm not chiming in at all with a critique of this podcast, but since a lot of people were angry that I commented that I found Cameron to be sweet and charming but not all that hilarious on CBB last week I figure I'll invite some more harassment from "nice" people telling me that I'm subconsciously hating her because she happens to be attracted to women (which is hilarious) I feel like she comes into a podcast as an elementary school teacher sometimes. on CBB she did get a bit vulgar which I like, but my opinion is that she seems focused on being respectful and charming foremost, rather than letting her mind unravel on the microphone to reach absurd hilarious subjects, which is what I like in my podcasting. So she annoys me the same way Chris Hardwick does (crazy!!!! he's a straight MAN), it seems like they're doing everything they can to be 'nice' to be liked by all people, and somehow that makes me dislike them. She's a lovely, charming person, I just don't find myself laughing at her bits which is ultimately what I listen to Earwolf podcasts for Can't wait to read the armchair psychiatrists' points of view on how deranged and hateful I am, have at it!
  22. I thought Kyle's voice was going to make me want to bash my brains in by the end of it but I was wrong. Great ep, but those of you not in the player's club, this past Sunday night's episode was next level hilarious

    Episode 279 - Rise N' Grind

Great ep, I havent seen much of Rory aside from a few Getting Doug appearances and catching half of an episode of those who can't, but he came across a lot funnier here than I thought previously. but WHERE'S STARD!?
