EPISODE 341 — Banging the Table with Stars
darkesword replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Claudia is a treasure. I could listen to her all day. -
I agree. I think this is probably the best I've ever heard a first-timer play CBB's brand of WYR. Lots of in-depth questions, no classic blunders, and a well thought out vote. Fantastic.

I really love how Scott and Paul are actually pulling back the curtain and talking about the performers and their characters this year. I love how Scott usually tries to maintain the facade, but honestly it's such a great change of pace to get some insight into the actual performances and to hear him genuinely talk about how much of a fan he is of everyone's work. I hope they continue to do this every year during the best-ofs.

But soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and the kid is not my son.

I lost my shit when ALW changed into Werner Herzog. Werner is my favorite PFT "character" and the sudden "reveal" of him being there was awesome.

Haven't listened to the whole thing yet (CBB is for my commute), but I just wanna say that Nick Lowe is the perfect kind of musical guest for this show. Great tunes and he's quick enough to handle Scott's brand of comedy.

Any time you get a Bob Ducca list of things you know it's a great episode.

So many things I liked about this episode. DAG was great and showed a real collaborative spirit. I love that he was just so ready and so game for whatever was going on, and tried to connect with the characters. I also cracked up every single time Lauren started in on "weeee've got laughs from coast to coast" and can totally understand how she just couldn't get through it. Joe's Mr. G character was also just so charmingly earnest, and hilarious to boot. Great ep.

I love Gino the intern. Such pleasant guy.

Gabrus completely KILLED it in this episode. Really likeable character, great back-and-forth with Scott. Would love to hear more from this character in the future.

Melissa Rauch as Danielle is inspired casting. I second the motion on a Womp It Up animated series. -
Episode 218 — The 4th Anniversary Extravaganza!

Wompler and Traci need to basically just be frenemies. Traci should show up when they do another Earwolf Presents Womp up the Jamz show. -
Hilarious. It was like a window into Earwolf's very own bizarre sitcommy universe. I would love a regular podcast expanding these characters.
