  1. The music during the corn field scene is trying to tell the viewer that this is intense; it's not.

Yeah then they had Tom Selleck and the lady cop look at eachother and simulataneously cartoon pounce onto the robot. That whole scene was confusing.

As a side note, this was a great ep! I am surprised, however, by the lack of discussion on Tom Selleck's kid. He was absolutely BANANAS.

  2. I got really stoned last night and watched this piece of shit. I have to say, I was sort of diggin the soundtrack. I mean, it didn't really fit the movie in any way at all, but that's okay. It was a nice distraction.

    My three favorite moments:

1.) Tom Selleck's unadulterated sexism ("Who is that? She's very attractive")

2.) Gene Simmons in a matter of factly delivery: "Ever see them kill somebody? It's really impressive, they're filled with acid!"

3.) Tom Selleck and his kid basically having a college bro conversation about whether Selleck brought the lady cop home.

Anyway, this movie was ass. It's saving grace was that it was only 95 minutes long, so I was still able to get to bed at a reasonable hour.

  3. This makes me so, so sad. It feels ridiculous tearing up over someone I don't even know, but Harris was just so damn funny. More importantly, he seemed like a really great person who was loved and appreciated by the comedy community. Personally, whenever anyone asks me who my favorite comedian is, I always say Harris Wittels. If they don't know who I'm talking about, I just show them some foam and then it all makes sense.

To the Earwolf community, and obviously Harris' family, my condolences go out to you. Rest in peace, Foamy.

  4. For the most part (other than the marriage and Ray Rice discussions) I thought Jack was actually kind of funny. And Horatio was amazing as usual. Plus there are three episodes this week?? Hopefully they turn out like when Mike and Omar take out the trash -- good epps.

  5. It's probably annoying to read "so-and-so is cute" on a regular basis, because it sort of masks the fact that the guest is funny, witty, clever, good at his/her job, with a superficial evaluation. I'm sure this happens in regard to female celebs much more than often than males.

However, the OP clarified that he did not mean it in a sexual way, and was commenting more on what makes Lapkus so likable and funny; that is, her silly demeanor, the fact that she's hilarious, and she's also young and not bad looking all make her cute. People often use the same descriptor when talking about Jimmy Fallon or Andy Samberg, and I don't think anyone interprets that as sexist or insulting. It's just part of their personas.

I would say that "sexist garbage" is a little much, and conflates what you see on the rest of the internet (which is often sexist garbage) with the relatively harmless comments found on Earwolf message boards -- specifically the one from OP.

  6. I hope we at least get a bbbonusss nod to Philip Traumatic Seymour Disorder and All Farted Out

YESSS!! Please at least a clip from Philip Traumatic Seymour Disorder! That episode is definitely in my top five this year, but I figured it was a longshot to make the list. James Adomian going back and forth between Philip and Paul Giammati was hilarious, plus I think it was the first episode with Todd.
