seriously, i was really happy to hear the shout out, I think it was not only the best big action movie of the summer, I think it might be my favorite sci fi movie in years.

that's not really what this podcast is about, there's a million podcasts discussing movies that they think are good, the whole conceit of How Did This Get Made is about crazy, weird and bad movies, they'll never review a movie like Back to the Future, what would be the point in that? that being said, they have done several episodes about movies they love and think are good, go listen to Punisher War Zone or Crank 2 or Fast Five. I'm sorry if I'm seeming like a dick but i feel like I read shit on here all the time of people just wanting this to be a regular old movie review podcast and whatever that's fine if you just like hearing the hosts chat about anything, I can't blame you for that, but maybe I just speak for myself when i say that what makes HDTGM unique and fun is them tackling the weird and horrible side of movies. This isn't some serious movie review podcast, it's a bunch of friends hanging out ripping apart crazy movies like you might do with your friends, that's how i see it at least, the last thing i want is to hear them just talk about something that's good, go listen to Odd Life of Timothy Green if you want to hear how boring them actually liking a movie can be.

I don't know why but my brain has some weird blind spot where I forget how funny Pamela Murphy is, which is crazy cause i hear her on I4H all the time. At any rate, she murdered it on today's episode, "finding chemo" had me choking on my breakfast

just had to watch this again for work, holy moley is this movie terrible. it's upsettingly obnoxious and gross some highlights: - Ace feeds a baby bird by vomiting into it's mouth (this happens in the first 5 minutes) - a close up shot of Jim Carrey touching his own eyeball - a gay tribesman gives Ace fuck me eyes - a parrot gets drunk - Ace crawls naked out of a robotic rhinos asshole (this craziest part of that scene, a fucking ROBOTIC RHINO!) - Ace drives a monster truck through the jungle, most likely demolishing tons of animals and their habitats - yet another gorilla rape scene! just bonkers

punch drunk love is not "an adam sandler movie" it's a p t anderson movie that adam sandler is in, it's fucking awesome and doesn't belong anywhere near the horseshit he produces

hahaha, I used to work for a company that did quality control testing for dvd, blu ray and Itunes vod, basically i had to watch movies over and over again to look for bugs and shit like that. it's a pretty terrible gig they try to make sound fun by saying "get paid to watch movies!". ace ventura 2 was hardly the worst though, the company i worked for contracted with a few different companies including Asylum Films so I got to see all kinds of shit

please this movie!!!! it's one of my favorites ever, it's perfect for HDTGM

I think so too, the Leprechaun one was definitely the wrong clip, not only because it was obviously Kumail's impression but later when they're voting Paul says it was supposed to be the clip of him quoting the Leprechaun saying "free at last free at last"
