I always love characters who tie into Scott's personal life. The childhood band friends were great.
Â
I case anyone was wondering the members of Scott's band were:
Â
Scott, Jewels, Cliver, Neck, Purse, Barb, Crescent, Pluse, Trivert, Dental, Sclupe, Ferendupitty, Ventilator, Drimdrom, Spyyyyro, Pooperoni, Facelit, Pocketmotch, Danny (aka Emblo), Crowpot, Lettermine, Backpack Oat and Housetree
Â
p.s. anyone with art skills please draw all of them, thank you

ahhhh damnit, I almost said cake scarabs but I was like, nooo I think that's not right. Trust your first instincts, Shannon!
Â
I'm sorry for being so pedantic but I figured PFT would settle for nothing less

I'm probably way more excited for Pitch Perfect 2 than any adult man should be but Pitch Perfect was easily one of my favorite movies in the last couple of years, I've watched like 25 times. I can't fully explain why, it just hits me in some weird sweet spot

you should have cake bugs hidden in the game and if you find them you get transported to fictional character heaven
Â
if I'm not mistaken cake bugs give you the gift of the second sight, cake scarabs let you see into fictional character heaven

boss battles should include Sentient R2D2 cake, Pie Minister, and the NYPD

It's pronounced "Skyfail," because Bond is completely ineffective and allows the deaths of almost everyone he tries to protect. He even let's the Bond girl get killed after two short scenes, neither of which involved physical intimacy. "The name is 'Bond,' 'Ernest Bond'."
Â
Its so funny on James Bonding they point out how insane it is that this is the first Bond movie where the villain totally wins.

holy shit yes! so excited for this.... who's the guest?
Â
I'd bet anything it's going to be Matt Gourley and Matt Mira. they do the James Bonding podcast, Pauls been on their show before. and they're actually supposed to do A View to a Kill next, on their last episode they hinted at doing something different for A View to a Kill so maybe it's a joint podcast or something.

just watched the Kroll Show preview and hoooooly shit, I was pausing it every other minute to laugh. I had no clue Bob was going to play such a large part in the C'zar arc and I can't wait to see more sweet, sweet Ducca on my television screen in January..... if I don't fall prey to double diabetes in the coming weeks.
Â
yeah yeah yeah Bob Ducca, you could babysit!

final season...?!?
Â
I didn't catch the special last night, but that's some bittersweet news. he's definitely taking another page out of the Brit book by ending his series before it ever had a chance to get cancelled... so I definitely respect his decision, but it's still a crushing blow to televised sketch comedy.
Â
fuck........ now I'm gonna go shame eat a massive salad with burger-croutons.
Â
yep. it's bummer I was pretty shocked by it too he explains here

Matt Dylan's first movie - Over the Edge it's a great low budget teenage rebellion movie that is classic 70's.
Â
Over The Edge is not bad. It's fucking amazing
-
anyone catch the Kroll Show sneak peek on Comedy Central last night? Looks like it's going to be a really great final season
-
Horatio is the guest/host, so I really hope he does it as a character.
Â
Aaron Neville/Regina Crimp duet?

first of all, if having a dumb, crude or tasteless username is off limits here I think we maybe listening to different shows, but hey maybe I'm biased.
Â
secondly, what does years of tv work have to do anything when it comes to this argument? if being prolific is a factor in whether or not it's cool to comment on peoples looks then when it comes to Earwolf I'd say Lauren fits the bill in that regard as well, I don't have the data but I'd happily wager that there are hundreds of posts on PFT episode threads that talk about his outfits and whether or not he looks better in a mustache (mantzoukas beard/no beard as well)
Â
and to your last point, you're absolutely right and it always is the first response, but respect for what they do and finding people attractive are not mutually exclusive. in fact they are super related, and it's not wrong to express that shit and I guarantee there's no one here that's just ignoring the show looking at the pictures and being like "that chick is fucking hot I want to bang her, let me go post about it on the board" we're all nerds here who love comedy and are probably way to invested in and feel connected to hilarious people we don't know in real life but who make us feel better and happy, if some of those feelings turn into silly puppy dog crushes then let it go, it's so silly to get bent of of shape about it

wow sorry everyone I didn't even mean it like that.
it's an audio podcast, i wasnt commenting on how "my dick thinks she looks" but how funny and awesome she is, and i think she has a cute voice. (Please listen to the first scene of Improv4humans 127 Bugout Bag, where she plays a squirrel character and tell me she doesnt have a super cute voice)
Â
Sorry if i have been harassing and making it uncomfortable for anyone to be on these forums.
i'll just never say anything ever again
Â
i don't think you need to apologize. look, I see both sides and I think it's great that people are becoming more conscious of the double standards of how we praise men and women (especially in comedy) but at the same time your comment was totally innocent, it's not like you said anything really gross, you said she's cute, whatever. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume as an Earwolf listener a huge of the reason you find her attractive (let's face it, who here doesn't) is the fact that she's fucking hilarious

Someone f'ed up the recording, apparently. Praying for all CBBers at this difficult time

goddamn you engineer cody cody

I think that Phil Elvrum (The Microphones / Mt. Eerie) would be a fantastic musical guest. He's made some really great music over the course of his career, including one of my favorite albums ever, 'Lost Wisdom'. Based on the music alone, you might think he'd be something of a sour puss, but he actually seems pretty funny:
Â
Â
I second this totally

Who?

you might know him as Onionhead?

Specifics aren't known, but it's clear that they don't speak anymore. Tom used to refer to PFT as "that comic in LA who doesn't talk to me anymore". He even said once that he had gleefully thrown out all of "that comic's" CDs.
Â
I don't think it'd really be an issue, as far as I can tell they have many mutual friends in the comedy world and many that have Earwolf crossover (Tom was on Analize Phish and Fogelnest Files, Paul Scheer shouted out Tom and The Best Show in a recent AVclub interview after the Wolfpop lauch). PFT might be all over Earwolf shows but he has no stake in any of them, if people like Jen Kirkman arn't taking sides I think it would be pretty petty and unprofessional for Scott to. whatever Tom and PFT personal issues they don't seem to be forcing it on other people. as far as the throwing out the cd's thing, anyone who listens to the Best Show understands how thats mostly Tom's on air persona talking

Must turd, you may be on to something....

seriously, It's everywhere, I hear it all the time. especially from friends of my parents or other people who are slightly out of touch with stuff. I don't mean that as an insult, it probably means I spend way to much time on the internet and listening to podcasts but I can't even count the amount of time's I've heard that basic premise told like it's a real story that happened to a friend of a friend.

In college, my friend's mom always signed her texts and emails LOL, and she only asked her mom about it after she received a text that said "Uncle Jacob died. LOL!" Needless to say, it turned out she thought it meant Lots of Love, (& still to this day flat out refuses the idea it might mean laugh out loud) but guess what? SHE'S FRENCH! Like the movie maker guy! Does this mean Francey pantses ALL think lol is not for laughing?
Â
I've heard this story a million times from so many people, comedians on podcasts, regular people at parties, everywhere and it's always second hand. Maybe by coincidence your friend's not full of shit but I'm positive this is the first urban legend of the texting era

Isn't Tracy just Traci Reardon, but Scott mixed up her backstory on her second appearance and said she was in high school instead of college?
Â
not even a little bit. go listen back, they have two completely different voices, personalities, everything

the guy with the crazy eyes they were talking about is Pruitt Taylor Vince

YES thank you!
Â
This movie is still my number 1 pick for a movie HDTGM hasn't done yet, it needs more support! please please please do this movie. Kurt Russell has a gun in the heel of his cowboy boot, and they only use it in one scene! the insane strip club scene where Terry Hactcher does her bonkers electronic drum solo striptease thing then dresses up Kurt Russell in the least convincing drag ever to escape alone could fill an entire episode!!
