Love it, but it's a ripoff of Tom Scharpling, who did it years ago... -
The full couplet is: "227 is a comedy/About Marla Gibbs and her family."

Great episode. Just an FYI: i think theres some trouble with Itunes, it doesn't seem to be up there yet

Miley is a victim of Monarch Mind Control. Most Disney actresses are. Google it. /davidicke.

Also, Helter Skelter was recorded in 1968. Blue Cheer's first album was recorded the year before. Great episode, though.

Who would have thought that someone inhaling two E-Cigs at a time and spraying whisky mist would come down with a throat problem?

"If you walk into a club and "Thrift Shop" is playing, thats a club you want to be at." Oof. No. Good stuff from Ku and Wie, but this guy is not my sort of guy.

Ftr, I'm not hating like that other dude. Love the show, just thought that Showalter wasnt into it, although he does get better.
-
Jesus. It's cool to act like youre happy to be there. Showalter sounds like he was forced to attend. Still love the show, but the live ones seem to lack something.

Julie Klausner should do an episode of Analyze Fish with someone who has never seen Splash.
-
Also, clearly-- Brody: Shelby (the main character who is taking the journey and learning about something she didn't know. In both cases, a shark) Quint: Howard (eccentric shark expert) Hooper: PFT (fast talking, slightly manic shark expert)
-
One reason that there is the tension with Mr and Mrs. Brody is that in the book she has an affair with Hooper (who is a dick in the book). Not sure if there were versions of the script where that was included or not.

Not terrible enough. You have to like that Mamet-style of writing to enjoy it. Have you seen House of Games or The Spanish Prisoner? Two other Mamet films that are much much better.

It's not as bad as the Gore episode. As many have pointed out, at least Steve-O wasn't just about self-promotion and being a dick. In fact, by the end I felt sort of bad for the guy. It just wasn't the right format for what he wanted to do. He genuinely seemed like he was tired of being the Jackass dude, and was pretty clueless of how to break out of that...except by going on and on and on about his journey.
-
That was a LOT of Steve-O. And stepping on Howard's "Harry from One Direction" imitation isn't cool.

Howard fixes clench Needles stuck into his neck Trish looks on, aghast

Nothing makes me happier than Kulap dismissing Howard when he's totally correct.
