^Something like that....

Yeah, I can't tell you how happy I was to hear all of Blaine's Secret of NIMH references pay off. Edit: That was supposed to quote Ska Tacoman's updated movie poster.
-
That is both beautiful and absolutely horrifying.

It pretty much looks like this, but it's just me so I don't catch any elbows in the eye.
-
The important question is - will you sell me a deck?

We played this and made our 10 year old play as K-9. He turned out to be super useful despite having to be carried up and down stairs.

Blaine breaking out into the song "Madness" followed by Brian doing a little "Our House" by Madness made my day. I'm gonna go skank around in my garage now.

All of Blaine's "Brought to you by..." jokes with time stamps

We should all kiss you on the mouth for this. Because fuck nougat! -
He may also have been pumped full of evil sauce when he was hooked up to the giant laundromat. When they found the first few hooked up guys, there was both something flowing into and out of their bodies through the milk tubes. There was also a point at which we were led to believe that the hooked up guy that wasn't unconscious was trying to say "Save my wife" but changed it to "Save my world" and also a hesitation before blood writing "Kill the women." This could have been interpreted as him being controlled by the necromancer. Since they detected evil on Parn until after the necromancer's first message to them, I wonder if Damien didn't have a little help. I am also nervous that he may be in danger of future possession. He may well be evil, I'm just throwing out another possibility if we find out that his alliance is good or neutral.

Me too. I kept referring to him as "kiddie Parn" in my head after that.

I want your Blackie to take me clubbing so bad! I'll dress like Mildred if that helps convince him. This is getting too real.
-
I've been waiting and hoping for a mirror match too! That said, I'm also curious to find out if all Glenishmorons are as sure of themselves as Sir Richard.

Such a fun episode! I'm glad Ken and Blaine are back. I missed them.

Die Hard is on TV right now, and I notice that Bruce Willis doesn't do a very good Sark impression.

I'm torn between being somewhat delighted at how reckless Dave is playing Bart and being worried that he's going to get them killed. It was a fun listen either way.

Go to the contact us page on the Earwolf site. There's a PO box address listed.
-
Right? It's fantastic! Please make more and sell them to us!

Yeah, it took me a little bit to find it too. I subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, so the only reason that I ever came to the website was for this forum. I had to get on my laptop to figure it out. First, go to the Earwolf website, and then go to "Shows", then "Nerd Poker", and the click on the actual title of the episode, it takes you to a page with pics, the entire episode, and usually a sound clip. Here's the one for this episode - which has the Stargoyle pic - http://www.earwolf.com/episode/the-posehn-stroke/. I went back and looked at every set of pics - I really enjoyed them.

Well the good news is that I found it, and that now it's posted above for anyone else who wants to see it and didn't/doesn't know where to go. However, I'd hate for other people to stay off of this forum because they see us picking at one another. I apologize for not being more diligent in trying to find it on my own before I asked a question. Can we move forward from this and get back to mourning the death of our beloved Goliath? That was the better conversation and I'm sorry that I derailed it.
-
Well Gawd Dayum! I've been missing out. I've never gone to the episode page, so I didn't know it had pics. Thanks for the info!

Has anyone posted a pic of the Stargoyle doll?

I always assumed it was Sark saying it. I just imagined that he couldn't be there on intro recording day, so Sark did one of his famously terrible impressions. But then again, I have a goofy imagination.

Maybe they didn't want to advance the story too far without Gerry. Some of you would be pretty upset if he wasn't involved in the next big break in the game. Also, it seems that some decisions take longer to make than others, and they've been in some really giant places with not a lot of clues as to what the answer is. I don't disagree that it's slowed down, but I guess it didn't occur to me that it was a problem. There was another period earlier in the campaign where they spent two or three episodes in a lift, and there were some comments about that as well. It picked back up, as I'm sure it will again.

So halfway through this episode I started to wonder, "Wait, what the fuck was going on in the Collector complex on the water planet?" I realized that it seems like they are getting close to defeating the necromancer and I still have no idea what his game is. How does he convince the male soldiers to be slaves for X number of years? Do they think that the lady clones are their wives and daughters and that they have to serve in order for them to be safe? I can't imagine so, because they must have figured out that what they're doing to the next world is what was first done to theirs. Is the Mildred clone dead now that the crystal's been shattered, or am I going to get that mirror match I've been hoping to hear? I know that this is all part of the fun, but I'm so curious about how this all works. I hope they start unraveling it in the next few episodes.

These are all wonderful, but I wanted to let you know that your Mildred makes me absolutely gleeful!
