they did a good job hiring sanderson to finish the series tho, it did have a bit of a different feel… but didn't take me out of the immersion and I'm happy we got a satisfying ending to the series.

In the first episode of the Blaine Era he said that he was intending to do some "Danger Room" style scenario that might morph into an actual campaign, but that for now it's going to be very make it up as he goes to get a feel for the characters and how they'll interact. Personally I'm listening because these guys (and gal) make me laugh, it just happens that they're also playing D&D. But they're funny people doing what funny people do, making people laugh.

ok THAT was hilarious and reminds me that I really need to start watching his show more often. Pete would be a fun guest, but if you've ever heard him on Doug Loves Movies or any other podcast like that,… his ADD would only further derail the oft-derailed train that is nerd poker. I wouldn't expect a lot of D&D actually happening with him guesting, but the episode would be a TON of fun. I think Pete's character would have a mighty warcry "Denver, YEAH!" *magic missile* "Denver, YEAH!" *Avalanche Strike* "Denver, YEAH!" *backstab* "Denver, YEAH!"

is there a good jumping on point? they're in the 250s for current episodes.

and it makes it so much more fitting for this adventure and amusing that Houg's missiles would have missed their target.

this is so not what i thought a thread titled blackie greene woulda been about... I'm sorry you don't find Blaine's performances funny, but I for one enjoy the shit out of him on this show and wouldn't want him to change it at all!

I'd be interested in joining this group as well! No GM experience, and havent really played D&D since I was a kid... but would love to get back into it!
