Thought Gilbert Gottfried was tedious in his sheer inanity. I presume that's the point of him, though, and that I just don't "get it". Anthony and James were fantastic, as I knew they would be, but the cumulative experience with Gottfried in the room was like listening to your favourite band through broken earphones. Felt like a wasted opportunity, maybe just because I know Adomian won't be back for a long time. So it goes.

Whenever Scott does bits like, "[The scene] has props, you have to give it that", or, "...that's a given, and that's exactly what I said when I watched that episode of Justified: That's a Givens", I immediately wish that Mantzoukas was in the room.

By the way, this episode had no right to be as good as it was. I knew as much about Besser, but Chad Carter is some kind of improvisation savant.

Fuck. That Garfield scene was like an Arthur Miller play directed by Tim & Eric.

Can't believe more people aren't completely losing their shit over this episode. Wasn't a fan of the musical guest (just not my thing), but Gabrus and Gemberling were extraordinarily wonderful. You could tell Scott was having a great time too. In the top three of the year for me. C+

If there's any greater sentence in the English language than "Paul is then joined by...Matt Gourley", I really don't know what it is.
