    Samurai Cop (1991)

    Whoa, this looks awesome!!

    Freaked (1993)

Dudes! I actually was getting Freaked mentally confused with Nothing But Trouble when they first started describing it. I don't know, the main selling point of NBT as a HDTGM movie was the combo of big budget, big stars, and NO JOKES. I guess the concept of what counts as a joke is kinda subjective, but I used to laugh at/with Freaked a lot in college.

    Q&A w/ Paul Scheer Thread

Weird, I was thinking how June balances out Zooks' silliness really well.

    Pinocchio (2002)

Yeah!!! I was going to suggest this as well but was a good soldier and checked previous posts first. It's really perfect for HDTGM to watch an Oscar winner get complete artistic control over his dream project, and it's AWFUL and creepy. Odds are none of the gang on the podast is friends with Roberto Benini, so we should be good on that front.
  5. Whoa, I hated this movie... not sure if it sucks in the right way for HDTGM though...

    Second Opinion: ALL ABOUT STEVE

I actually laughed a few times when I saw All About Steve, maybe it was surprise at how poorly the movie was reviewed. I really liked the line where Sandra goes, "doing a crossword puzzle in pencil is like screaming with your lips duct taped shut"... I actually re-wound that a few times on my DVR since I was laughing so hard. The rest of the movie isn't that great, but I laughed out loud way more at this than I did during big budget "comedies" like Hitch, Guilt Trip, or any Katherine Heigl movie. 2.5/5 stars.
  7. Quick question: When Pacino tells CHarlize to fix her hair, the ladies say that "the devil totally negs her". I'm not familiar with this phrase... is it short for negate or something? (Ps, I'm a new fan of the show, please don't neg me too hard)

    Nothing But Trouble - Horrifying

Yeah, I remember wanting to see this when I was 12, it had lots of things that 12 year old boys love: Digital Underground, Dan Akroyd (my fav. Ghostbuster), neat gadgets, etc. My mom said it "looked stupid" and was too violent and scary for kids. Sometimes Mom does know best.
