You know the Freakonomics podcast is having a fundraising campaign where they will fly one winner to their studio to hang out with, get lunch, and watch the recording of the podcast. And you know all of us would be cool with just fast food for lunch...

There was a reference that I thought was funny. I forgot what it was. But whatever it was, it was appreciated.

Sark is stealing my joke! I live in Sendai (about 60 miles north of Fukushima). After the quake and tsunami I had a nephew born. Add in the radiation and that screams superhero!

Show off.

That is absolutely phenomenal. Amarth reminds me of Iggy Pop.
-
That is pretty cool actually.

Yep. Moved to Sendai about a week ago. Have been working everyday since last tuesday.... NP has gone international!

Finally got the episode listened to. Trying to figure out when is a good time I can listen to it all the way through now that I'm living in Japan. +1 to all the Gerry comments. His roleplaying is top notch. Let's hear Brian fart "Mulan" next!

Eyeballs. When you want to read the thread about Blaine's character, do it with eyeballs.

Hey Sark, think there is any capability of doing a live episode? Another podcast that I listen to does these on occasions and has a stream for comments available. Although, it may lead to 60 minutes of just Brian saying, "fuck you, internet."

I hear "Burst Through and Kill" is the name of the next James Bond movie. Where are my other 12 hours!!??

I've played 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, 4th and I'll throw in Pathfinder. In the past few years I've played other systems, most recently Savage Worlds. I've been writing up my own SW one-shot campaign which I call League of Extraordinaire Americans. The characters I use are Orville Wright, Annie Oakley, Harry Houdini, Nikola Tesla, and a young H.P. Lovecraft. Set in 1905, the adventure would start in Paris and then head to Istanbul and Wallachia. Recently at one of our conventions' (MisCon) quarterly game days I played Dungeon Crawler Classics. I thought it was absolutely fantastic. The first one shot was with 5 players playing 0-level characters. My first got killed off 3 minutes in. Another one I had played in recent years was the original Game of Thrones d20. I thought it was really good too, but the credit there has to go to our GM. The story he wove was amazingly intriguing. Up until last week (moving this Thursday) I played in a game that used BASH. The storyline was good, I didn't care much for the system though.

Blackie better hope he never sees his reflection in a pool of water.

So next week...13 hours of NP goodness eh? eh? I'm sure the flight staff will love it when I spray my complimentary beverage out my nose somewhere over the Pacific.
-
Well that one is a no-brainer.

Clancy, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought of Sir Robin when I heard the characters name on the episode!
-
Thank god I didn't get "My Charisma is 19 tattooed on my arm" it would have been the Dungeons and also Dragons equivalent of getting the girlfriends name tattooed on oneself.
-
That might be a better question for the General Podcasting forums, or General Earwolf, as I'm guessing Sark doesn't have anything to do with post-produciton.

Blackie on the back of Bartho = Master Blaster!

Those last Amarth and Blackie ones are pretty amazing.

I could do an interpretive dance, but not animate...

Or you could just fly me from Japan when I win. Trust me I'm worth it.

I'm still waiting to hear who wins between Dan vs. Dave!!!! -
Brian's a big liar! I went and got a squarespace website and there are no dragons to drop on the webpage! (trying that joke again over here)

My guess is if they just did 17 & 18 together, and even possibly 19, that we won't see him until 20.
