Again! Last night I dreamed that to listen to CBB, you had to pay $3 per year. So I did it!

What guest do you want to see?
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to Johnny Unusual's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Eugene Levy! And Ron Funches. And Terry Crews. -
EPISODE 340 β LIVE from SXSW 2015 II
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I absolutely love that James only brings Tom Leykis when there's at least one great female comic there to foil/balance/amplify him. Poehler, Bamford, Lapkus solo, now Tig AND the Wild Horses. It's clearly a conscious and very smart decision. -

EPISODE 337 β The Ying and the Yankovic
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
This is truly a C+ lineup of guests. Guess I should call in sick, listen to this, and spend the morning submitting obscene questions to my local frozen yogurt discussion board. -
EPISODE 335 β The Wedding of Gilli and Garry
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Top Seven Moments 1. Gilly introduces the ghost voice 0. Shocking cliffhanger before the final act -1. The Agree to Disagree Ceremony -2. Hearing the gears turn in PFT's mind as he manipulates his characters to ensure that Gilly has to cast the deciding vote in a 3-3 tie -3. "Next Year People" -4. Gilly and Colin's "She Loves Garry" song -5. Gilly saying "Dear Garry" and PFT dying off-mic See you guys at the sex party! -
So very sad. Thank you, Harris, for Foam Corner and Farts & Procreation (and the show that was its linguistic inspiration). If only there could have been more.

EPISODE 335 β The Wedding of Gilli and Garry
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I haven't listened to this yet, but I have spent the last five minutes having the PFT/Garry voice in my head shout "HECTOR ELIZONDO" and it's been pretty satisfying. -
Philosophy Roundtable discussion show with Slavoj Zizek, Werner Herzog, and H.R. Giger. Moderated by Chip Gardner.

Episode 331 β Secret Superlatives
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Of course, and no disrespect was meant, except to Hollywood, because (call me cynical) I think Hollywood does favor the "whitest" nonwhites. Happily, the REAL Ghostbusters casting news has proven me wrong, and I think we can all agree that the agreed-upon cast deserves an emphatic C+! -
Episode 331 β Secret Superlatives
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Wow, pretty creative of Sony to come up with 9 people of whom 8.5 are white. -

Episode 324 β Golden Duchess Cruise Lines
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Anyone here who is not vocal about feeling a deep, even feral attraction to the way Paul F. Tompkins wears a pinstripe suit has lost their vocal cords. -
Is Anyone Else Annoyed by Scott Recently?
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to kennygray's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
A lot of the intros to the show make me think "Man, I could never get my friends to listen to this." Or "get on with it." But once Scott gets into the banter with a guest, especially someone like Benny Schwaz or a PFT/Horatio/Lapkus character, he's pretty much golden. Also, I am too young to get most of the references, which can be a problem with the show in general. But I suck it up and google things like who Jaye Davidson is, because it's worth it. -
Relistening to one of my favorites, "Hollywild" with Benny Schwaz and Cocoa Marx, and really enjoyed the plugs theme by legrowfosho. Also: Tenacious D. What were your favorite plugs themes?

Episode 304 β Marissa Womplerβs Six Flags Birthday Womptacular
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Was Parham voicing Philippe? -
...someone's character is an amateur, unfunny standup comedian, who's preparing to deliver his very first set at maybe his nephew's or son's birthday party, and Scott and the guest teach him to say "THE END" at the end of every punchline so that people will know when to start laughing? I've been going insane trying to remember which episode that was, ever since watching attempting to get through a set on YouTube. (Also, wonder if Scott's "iPad, iPod, I don't know anymore!" is mocking the dude in this video.)

Maybe it's just me, but for me, the Sheriff of Cumberbatch County needs to hear a crime go.

Anyone remember the one where...
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to Mr. Reeses Pieces's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Shoot, I bet you're right. Especially if they're around the same time frame - I shotgunned like 6 episodes on a road trip, and those were probably both on the playlist. This explains why I couldn't figure out if it was Daly or Sanz. Guess it's time for relistens, thanks! -
Episode 007 β Rockinβ and A Rollinβ with Wolfman Hot Dog
Mr. Reeses Pieces replied to JulyDiaz's topic in The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project
Obviously the next Dalton Wilcox podcast needs to include a showdown with J.W. Stillwater, Sheriff of Cumberbatch County. -
Jim O'Heir was great in his own right and great as a sounding board for Sanz. He really got into his role. I bet he could handle Andy Daly pretty well, too.
