Rhea's one liners are always a delight. So understated.
-
The first segment with just the normal guest has been on quite a roll lately.

I think the country chart was a good jumping off point for some fun bits.

Needs more comments! Could be their best live episode. Gaul is great in everything.

I can't believe it took them this long to completely break down during a song. What The Cats/Robots Are Doing is fucking amazing. -
Nathan's dryness is so perfect at calling out Scott's style of just throwing shit out there.
-
I haven't heard any pop girls on these kwizes, just chanteuses.

Man I say this every week but I freakin love this. This is one of the best for sure. Make A Scene, Super Bad Doug, incredible songs. "I don't wanna live anymore, here I go" was so sudden and amazing. -

NameThatPunky replied to DaltonMaltz's topic in Off Book: The Improvised Musical
Holy fucking shit this podcast. I don't know why the improvised rapping is always so much more impressive than the musical style songs, but I think they're just more fun. -
Yea remiss to mention Beth, she fit right in and would love to hear her on Twoch again.
-
It was amazing. I got 6/10 btw.

No 16 year old girl would be talking about Yellowcard, so something must be really wrong. -
Can't decide if it was this one or when he was the helper bringing in the ancient grandma.

Ep. 4 Curses Curses Curses! (w/ Jamie Denbo)
NameThatPunky replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Off Book: The Improvised Musical
The Dieter/Gunter one, that was so great. 2nd half of Curses Curses Curses is legit bonkers. -
It was totally blown out of proportion.

Ep. 2 Sham Wowowow (w/ Mary Holland)
NameThatPunky replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Off Book: The Improvised Musical
The song after the intro of Dieter and Gunter is one of their best. Amazing stuff. -
Ep. 1 Shrugging Destiny (w/ Paul F. Tompkins)

Echoing the others coming in off CBB. So glad this exists. -
Anyone think they overracted to peeing off a balcony? They took it so seriously. Am I just a garbage person? Also Kre revealing who his business call was with is a top moment in Charted history.

We had live food.

Episode 501 - Manchester Orchestra's Kith and Kin
NameThatPunky replied to DaltonMaltz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
I felt I loved this episode after the "leaning against a column" harmony. I knew I loved it after the rap breakdown. -

Often referred to as The Tarver Method. Seems like I'll be listening to Off Book now.
