I had no clue who John was and he was a pleasant surprise. Fit in great (seems to be a theme for guests who listen to the show) and had some good stories.
Â
Wie and Ku were of course their delightful selves, and Rammy's gonna Ramh'nd.

God damn this was a bonkers episode in the best way.

There was a farmer actually, there. In the dell.

Agreed on all fronts. How dare you even SUGGEST it might go away.

The polls are on the right of the main page like last year:

Is this ep eligible for best ofs? It's on the poll but I thought T-Give was the cutoff.

Litrally tearing up at Gaul. Amazing.

I'm honestly shocked it's not longer than 22 minutes.

Echoing everything said (except Rikishi wrestling in my town), high highs and low lows but you could feel the love in each. Feared the worst when Kulap started with the call about her mom, and while it's good she's better it's still a shitty situation. Hope everything works out.
Â
That Colt though man, he's got something I like to call, it.

Man there's still something weird that pokes through in a lot of his line reading, like an accent. The Wik says he was born in New York but I'm wondering if he had immigrant parents or something.
Â
I'm not trying to shit on him if anyone wants to jump on me, it's just fascinating to me.

There was a tiny second during the Plugs song where it sounds like Showalter asks him if "Cookin' With Gas" is a real show, and Rowley says something - in what sounded like a non-accented voice to me, at least as far as I could tell with the song playing and the road noise that's always in the background because I listen while I drive - about how he never knows how to do plugs for himself while he's in character.
Â
Scott freaks out a bit, maybe because he's pissed about someone talking over the song or maybe because he doesn't want to break kayfabe.
Â
Almost certain that was Paul Brittain.
Â
Also shout out for the break kayfabe line.

Is there anywhere I can hear Rowley speaking with his normal voice? He has such an odd timbre with his characters I'm wondering if that's just part of how he talks.

Rowley killed me right from the start of his segment. Glad to hear him doing something other than Ming, this was amazing.

Those plastic baseball hats that hold cheese fries are the source of my fondest baseball memories. I would have gladly given Rhea my spare mini hats, partly because my cat didn't particularly enjoy wearing them
Â
I know them as little plastic helmets that held iced cream.

Can anyone direct a soul toward the orig?

I really hate the Creepies character, but it was worth having Rust on just for his reactions to the Monster Fuck lyrics.

This has been one long Octi-doggie.

Don't have much to add besides Eden's laugh is adorable.

What is Scott doing wearing a Hillary T-shirt?! We all know what a big Trump supporter he is.
Â
It's the ultimate way to TRUMP THAT BITCH.

Was anyone else legitimately taken aback by how impressive Jessica McKenna's freestyle rapping skills turned out to be?
Â
It really was incredible. If you think about it, improv skills probably translate to freestyle rapping.

Seems like these were aired out of order, right? They recap podfest in this episode which was three weeks ago, not last weekend. And then they reference the Therapy Shortcut book Howard talks about in the Rhea Butcher episode as "coming in our next episode." MY BRAIN
