Episode 69 — Betsy Sodaro, Our Close Friend
chanson replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Disagree. While Shannon is good and cool and nice, her gif thing is inconsequential compared to the long-standing issue of not enough likes. Generations of Hollywood Handjobs forumers and Reality SHOW show forumers before them have run into the glass ceiling arbitrarily imposed upon them and like the windows arbitrarily imposed upon a sparrow's flightpath, it has left them twitching on the ground dazed and confused until they are able to regain the strength to take flight again and continue flapping their stupid beautiful little wings at that glass ceiling until their tiny little bird brain either loses interest or finds an alternate route that involves fewer windows. Or a cat eats them. -

I liked this post so that everyone else would see that I liked it and think I'm not actually a men's rights activist. Just FYI. -

It's called quantitative easing. Inflation doesn't exist anymore. Except when it does. Economics! Boom! -

We also have fun guys. Like MBoP, and BRRII, and Greggy, and Brgrho, and Showshowbro, and TimTreese, and JoeMcGurl, and Burdrulz, and Andy Kneis, and others I have neglected to name because I'm losing interest in this post. Also, we have fun gals. Like Anastasia, and Veebs, and Freja, and Agata, and probably others who maybe don't post in the forums and maybe are also making other similarly poor life choices (unless me inferring that there are women in the world making poor life choices is sexist in which case I actually didn't ever say that and am very sorry and really really don't want people to think I'm a men's rights activist unless that's what a men's rights activist would say in which case I didn't actually put anything in parentheses whilst still asserting that anything I said was not intentionally sexist.)- 570 replies

It's about who is listening and spoiler alert: I listened to one of those podcasts but didn't listen to the other one. And also Hollywood Handjobs is run purely for the benefit of the 20 or so diehard forumers and we have all listened to this episode 100 times since midnight. So let me know when anyone in the CBB forum is doing that and then don't because you need 20 more stupid idiots to also do it to even get close to Hollywood Handbook. And also, another condition is that one of those people doing that in the CBB forum has to be Andy Kneis. So if you're looking for the part of this post where I prove my point, consider the idea that maybe I didn't have one and am now somewhat confused about why I started this post. -

Assuming this is genuine (and I'm not entirely sure it is), I think Betsy Sodaro is funny and nice and good. I also think Paul Scheer and Jeff Garlin are funny and nice and good and have their own niches that they inhabit within their respective communities which makes them valuable. Kind of like how people liked one member of N'SYNC (okay, bad example bc JT [but imagine I said Backstreet Boys]). -

Goats are awesome! They have sociopathic tendencies but for some reason whenever I meet one I instantly feel the need to befriend it. I have a complicated relationship with goats, guys. -

What's your email? I'll invite you.

I was worried for a minute.

Hey, who's in charge of tonight's hangout? Just so we know who to get pissed off at later.
-
Also, I'm down for a hangout.

I kind of wonder about people who take things to the extreme all the time... Like how do they function when things are normal? You know, most of the time? Like, are they always getting upset all of the time so that there is no normal? Are they always fighting battles for other people? Do they think they're martyrs? Do they know no one is asking for their help? It's just a confusing type of person. I just can't imagine being angry all of the time. It must be exhausting. I'm also curious why you decided to venture into such a clusterfuck of a discussion.

Yeah, I didn't think we would win to be honest. We certainly didn't deserve it.
-
We have fun don't we guys?
-
Also, Super Bowl tomorrow! Stoked!
-
UCB and Scientology are the same thing, right?

I don't think I was entirely sure Sean and Hayes were kidding or not for the first few episodes I listened to. Kind of like how people still aren't sure if I'm a real person or not. Go with your instincts.

Betsy, I don't really care about this show. Why did you decide to be on it?
