Episode 65 — Dan Klein, Our Close Friend
chanson replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I also think that the Gonzaga Bulldogs of Gonzaga University of Spokane, Washington were behind the Bill Cosby allegations. Just like when Seattle University said those nasty things about Courtney Love doing all that murdering of Kurt Cobain and St. Martin's University said that stuff about former Washington governor Gary Locke being too Chinese to be a good ambassador to China. The Catholic universities of Washington and their propaganda machines are always behind major scandals. -

I'm gonna guess that their contempt got the better of them and they just didn't record an episode this week. -

That's a very specific button. I'm quite honored by its existence. I was gonna write something braggy about how long my family has been in Seattle and institutions they have been involved in the founding of but I didn't want to give Veebs more ammunition. Suffice it to say that my Seattle credentials are solid. Don't let the fact that I post my location as Seattle, Washington keep you up at night, Dan. I can promise that I have earned the right (through the actions of people who had sex and thus created myself) to do that unlike some liberal arts college grad from Baltimore (or other smaller major city) who moved here to take a job at Amazon because he/she really likes Starbucks and thinks Seattle is just so cool right now but lives in Lynnwood and just can't understand why the traffic is terrible and has the original idea to comment about it and let everyone know that maybe they should do something about it and doesn't understand why the days get so short in the winter and now is considering moving to the Bay because it's so much warmer there. -

Neither am I. However, I have literally posted pictures of myself, my car license plate, and my (American) passport at various times to prove that I am, in fact, real. No one is more disappointed by this fact than myself. -

Jesus Christ, those imbeciles over on the Earwolf subreddit can't even keep their references in the right podcast. Fuck ups. I'm actually for reals mad about this. I live a privileged life. -

Also, you guys should have a Swede-off. Freja Froyo McNordstrom is the most Swedish New Englander on these forums. Ever since I said something nice about some friendly Danish people I drank with and was brutally attacked and degraded, Freja has been this forum's official token Swede and also someone whose opinions and femininity I fear (and therefore respect). -

One time Sean and Hayes said that I was actually a person they made up. So that's a thing that happened one time. Also, as much as I hate nerds, you nerds are pretty cool. Those nerds over on Reddit really grind my gears though. All of them. In fact, anyone who routinely uses Reddit that does not also contribute to this forum is a worthless pile of garbage. Glad I got that off my chest. IS THAT the KIND OF rant you're TALKING ABOUT SEAN? HUH? Am I GOOD ENOUGH now, DAD? AM I, SEAN? -

They were definitely mean. And good luck to me getting a job or passing a background check ever. However, either Sean and Hayes are just mean guys (highly probable) or they have (profoundly misplaced) confidence in my mental and emotional stability (risky bet) because I don't think everyone would handle all of this abuse as well as I have. Just a thought. PS - It's also weird when a bunch of people I don't know at all start jumping on a bandwagon of poking fun at someone they don't know. It's worth thinking about.- 192 replies

They seem like self-righteous assholes. Which is something people have said about myself (correctly), so I would know. Also, I'm curious to know why they think anyone called in and if they realize that the entire podcast is supposed to be funny or if they think it's actually a serious discussion of serious issues of the day. Which it is. In a way. And do they think Sean paid to have a car full of dog food wait outside of my house to rescue my dog? He did. But I just want to know if they think that actually happened or if they're just running their damn mouths. PS - Big fan of your cat, btw. -

I learned a lot about myself from this episode. Also my dog has been missing for several days now. Thanks, Sean and Hayes.
