    HWH project

I'm sure I have something to add, but I am not sure about what that might be yet.
  2. Thanks, man. I feel the same way. PS - Awwwwwwwww
  3. I think it's very cool as well. It's good to see that people are interested in nurturing new talent and building up new communities in the places they live rather than adding to the noise in the four or five cities that already dominate. I think this is really the way forward for most things and I hope that we see a more multi-centric cultural landscape in America. It extends beyond "creative industries" as well, although that isn't as sexy and involves fewer well-dressed upper middle class millennials engaged in "quirky" or "offbeat" pursuits/companies competing over MIT grads, so it gets far less airtime despite being far more economically significant for the places it's taking place in. Also, it would be nice if people (especially young people) felt like there was a future (let alone a bright one) for them (creatively, professionally, entrepreneurially, educationally, etc) in the place where they grew up... Or on their favorite forums as the case may be.
  4. Way to Step Up 2: The Streets, Treese.
  5. Does anyone else want me to make a Facebook Group for Hollywood Handjobs? I just made one for my high school class and I'm on a roll.
  6. Andy Kneis, your sincerity and general good natured-ness sickens me. This world will chew you up and spit you out and have you for breakfast with its eggs and bacon. I respect you. You're welcome.
  7. PPS - Happy first day of legal weed sales. Fucking stoners.
  8. PS - Is it weird that I found Aubrey Plaza calling Jacob a piece of shit kinda hot?
  9. #RealTalk It makes me happy that our forum community is nurturing new talent and bringing people together. Especially Andy Kneis, who has been around since the Reality SHOW show days and is nothing if not a one of the most quality dudes in this community of quality dudes and dudettes. Andy, you and your astro van did great! I was really disappointed that there was no callback to Vibes. I feel like this was a tremendous oversight. Otherwise, flat bills off to Andy once again. I hope we hear from you again soon. Maybe someday NPR will do a story about how this forum was like the groundlings for podcasts.
  10. Points. Points. Points. Really liked the watery NPR quality of everyone's voices this week. Andy was good. Aubrey Plaza never addressed her alter-ego as Drake. Billings is a city in Montana.
  11. I am still having a hard time understanding how you fucked us, Andy. You fucked us. Right in the ass. Actually I love the fact that Andy is in the show. A lot. I'm gonna go back to listening to it now.
  12. ...I really like that you took the time to be thoughtful about this podcast and the emotions it evokes within yourself. I suppose I am interested in similar things, but I cannot say that this podcast, in particular, piqued my curiosity in such ways. From now on it probably will. I think one of the aspects of comedy that is very useful is its ability to take ideas that seem harmless in small doses to their logical extremes either by exaggerating them or presenting crazy ideas as though they are normal. I suppose such things are inherently dangerous because, as one might guess, some people hold those beliefs and might actually use a satirical or comedic work as a rallying cry. The Colbert Report comes to mind. I think comedy's ability to be a mirror for society as a whole is something that makes it so important to any and all societies. This is also why, in my opinion, comedy ought to be respected as an art form which, like other art forms, has its low-brow, high-brow, and everything in-between communities. I also think that your recognition of people who can see through the behavior of others is interesting. It seems as though you definitely see the positive aspect of such an ability, but (and you may already know this) the other side of that same coin seems to be that such people are always taking things apart and such an impulse can be very disruptive and uncomfortable for the people around them, not to mention for themselves. I'm not sure it's something that one can turn on or off; at least not easily. After reflecting on your post for a bit, I think that I share your same desire for truth in all things (I hope I'm not putting words in your mouth by saying this). I'm not sure it would be a good thing if all people felt the same way, but that's above my figurative pay-grade for this forum. A quote that this reminded me of, and one that is very dear to me, is from Thoreau's Walden: "Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth." I like that we can be funny and intellectual on this forum. It feels more complete that way. ...penis. (to maintain my street cred)
  13. ...That's what they said when they were demonstrating the A320 to airlines in the '80s and they crashed the demonstration model into a forest. Idiots. PS - Your best luck will be with British chicks. They're easy (oftentimes). And gross, in my opinion. That accent doesn't do it for me. Especially the working class or regional accents. But Irish chicks, that accent is amazing! In case anyone wanted to know. PPS - Edelweiss Air is shitty. They're a stupid Euro-charter airline. Which are all stupid. Not as bad as Euro-discount airlines. But close. PPPS - Dear Europeans, stop ruining capitalism for everyone else.
  14. Swiss' Business Class is pretty good. Ever since they got bought by Lufthansa the damn Germans have been nickel and diming them though... Air Berlin or Edelweiss Air to Olbia? Neither are a regional airline, but i know what you meant. Don't pretend like you aren't at Porto Cervo. You nouveau riche son of a bitch. #ClassWarfare PS - I like airplanes. Don't judge me. PPS - Have fun, Tim. Any "billionaire" who invites you on his yacht probably wants to sell your kidneys, so don't do it.
  15. I feel like other people post more than me now. A fact that I have no opinion on one way or another. ...Also, I like Burdrulz's multi-posts. I find them aspirational. Like Spam in Korea.
  16. Aubrey Plaza, 1.) What's it like having the same first name as Drake? Do people often get you confused in interviews? 2.) You seem like you hate fun. That's not a question. 3.) How do I get my dog to not be afraid of fireworks? 4.) What was it like being on Degrassi? 5.) Did you decide to become a rapper because you're ashamed of growing up wealthy or because you're ashamed of being Canadian? Or was it because you're ashamed of being on Degrassi? 6.) Why is shame such a major motivator for you? 7.) That Chris Pratt guy is pretty awesome. I like him a lot. 8.) Did you have to fight University of Washington grad, Anna Faris, for the right to play her husband's wife in Parks & Rec or did Amy Poehler fight as your proxy? She's a total badass. Amy Poehler is. Just in case that was unclear.
  17. Here you go you awful people. ...I don't know, he likes boats.
  18. I think people should have been more supportive and all around less bitchy about the whole thing.
  19. On the off chance that any of you guys are in Seattle on the 4th of July, you're all welcome to come to my Dad's on Vashon Island and watch the fireworks in front of his house. It's pretty sick. There will be swimming and beer and "totally legal" fireworks that I have purchased from Sean's relatives in the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.
  20. If you were murdered there they would have to figure out which court to try your murderer in too because your murderer would have the right to be tried in the state in which the crime was committed by a jury from that state (presumably wearing turquoise jewelry). So if it was committed simultaneously on the border of four states that would cause a breakdown in our federal judicial system. PS - No need to worry about being murdered, our police have guns. So enjoy your turquoise jewelry in peace.
  21. For the record, my celebrity man-crush is Sean. Is that why you didn't want to get in to it? Because you knew that mine was you and you didn't want to expose me to the possibility that I could have a healthy man-crush on someone else? That seems awfully selfish. Which is a quality I respect very deeply and aspire to, hence my man-crush.
  22. Also, I went to this: Shout out to Seattle Symphony. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w59e20ijOpE
