  1. PS - I thought it was extremely funny how Scott Anchorman and Sean kept yes anding each other even though it went against the conceit of the episode when they were talking about Seth McFarlane. I wonder if that's a business strategy someone could use to distract someone with an improv background during a real negotiation.
  2. Engineer Brett. Is it hardcore up in the 'bu?
  3. ...ok maybe this is the economics degree talking here, but is anyone else wondering what the monetary value of an active dedicated and extremely loyal forum community is to a medium such as podcasting?
  4. Yeah, except errbody (because I'm "urban") knows I'm this podcast's resident mean bitch. Sean and Hayes... Pshaw. Pussy Cats. Incidentally, they're also my real dads.
  5. You guys, I went out drinking with some military officers that I met at the dog park. Way more hardcore than me. Just bit my finger trying to eat a quesadilla that I made. Also, I think they teach dancing at West Point or some shit.
  6. Anyone ever just wanna buy a Jones Soda at Starbucks and then take a ride on a Raleigh bicycle down to Pike Place to pick up some Beecher's Cheese while listening to Lithium by Nirvana and then use their Windows phone to take a picture of the Space Needle from underneath their bumbershoot before going up to Crystal Mountain to shred some pow on their new K2 Apache Recon skis and marvelling at how well their Outdoor Research jacket that they bought at REI is holding up even though their buddy just spilled some Pyramid Hefeweizen on it at the bar while he was daydreaming about next weekend's trip to the San Juan Islands onboard the Washington State Ferries? Yeah, me neither.
  7. Yes. I really enjoyed sociology-type classes and despite the inherent bias built in to this class, I learned quite a bit. Also, I have always been somewhat sympathetic to feminist ideas and aware of the struggles women have faced and the progress they have made. I also feel passionately that girls need a strong independent female role model (I put forward Mariska Hargitay in SVU) to look up to. However, I do think the rhetoric of feminism often gets in the way of actual progress but the same could be said of many important social movements (which is why most of them are stuck where they are and going nowhere most of the time). That said, I am a little miffed that I had to take the course because it wasn't all that related to a BA in Political Science or a BA in Economics. Perhaps tangentially, but still, I don't like it when people use education to make a political statement, whether I agree with the outcome or not (and in this case, I do). But yes, learned a lot. Enjoyed the class. Still respect women. Still fear women. Still like being told what to do by women (probably didn't need to say that). So, yeah. Not a lot changed. #RealTalk PS - For the record, I don't actually have anything against veggies or any of the various levels of commitment therein. According to my education in economics, the less demand for a product the lower the price, so I thank you for keeping meat affordable and for not taking the best cuts for yourselves. PPS - You're welcome for my effort to keep the price of sprouts (or whatever the fuck you people eat) low.
  8. Not true. Also confusing. Also, is this an insult? Also, what the fuck? Also, rando.
  9. I apologize. I didn't know you were a vegan/vegetarian/self-righteous asshole. Don't worry. I know it's a forum. I don't get "for reals mad" at anyone here. Unless I say otherwise. (I only make this explicit because sometimes people take things personally and it's hard to tell what someone really means when it's written.) Ooooh la la
  10. Also, I guess I'm confused as to why we're attacking Kevin Pollack's Chat Show in addition to being confused about a lot of things generally.
  11. I was being facetious. The University of Washington made me take a women's studies course because of how it related so nicely to my political science and economics coursework, so I know all about sexuality and stereotypes and sensitivity. #womenbeshoppin' Also, families are a key instrument of the patriarchy used to subjugate women and keep them subservient to the wishes of men. So maybe a family forum isn't a good thing after all. Do elaborate on normcore though.
  12. This may seem insensitive or something but I thought all gay men were fancy? Is it like a continuum of fanciness or levels? I guess what I'm trying to ask is whether or not there's a comprehensive ranking system for gay guys and their fanciness or if it's a typological thing or just in the eye of the beholder. I don't know why this interests me so much. Other than my need to identify categorize and rank all information that I come across.
  13. Does sending half a bottle of Advil in the mail to Earwolf count as a donation? Or is that terrorism? I get them confused.
  14. I like the episode with Frank Sweeney from The Challenge... ...yeah, I know. Suck a dick. #edgy #selfaware
  15. PPS - I felt like I was getting fucked this whole podcast.
  16. ...notice how I didn't ask any questions last week. illuminati shit PS - Much love and my prayers for the KOMO team. Big ups to Seattle Fire Department.
  17. He has a point. And also is threatening to extort me. But you know, what's a little extortion among friends?
  18. [Redacted] Love You Guys!
  19. Anyone else have rainy day recess during elementary school? Where you had to stay inside and do board games/internet because it was raining outside. Yeah, good times.
  20. No. I was intentionally trying to ruin it for you. You know, because of how rando I am.
  21. Rancho Cucamonga Hollywood Hot Tub Tours? So Rando.
  22. You sure Hayes didn't just watch the Ron Paul episode of E! True Hollywood Stories?
  23. So I Googled "weird freak bitch at the show" and it directed me to the Facebook page of Rando Calrissian... It's cool though, I'm 1/8th Canadian. So Rando.
