Fuck it, I'm on a roll, a couple of boxing-centric ones that I love. (This is the Wii Version, it sounds "cleaner" than the original 8-Bit version, although, it's still powerful to this day) And the classic ITV "Big Fight" theme

The problem for me is, this thread would reach LOL length if I just kept posting "positive mood songs"

Now, I consider this piece of music to be VERY important to me. It's the theme for the PRIDE Fighting Championship from Japan. Just this piece of music, gives me this weird middle ground between hyped up to fuck, but also really peaceful and relaxed. Not only that, just wonderful memories of watching fights, and also playing the video game with my mates where we'd start at night, and sometimes, the sun's coming up in the morning. Just a beautiful piece of music that could have been used anywhere.

My go to positive song: Whenever I'd watch a music channel, and I saw the lightbulb, shit was ON!!!

What I can envision happening is it literally being a case of me doing some weird C&O-Q&A session, because they drift so far from the source material, it would be a case of for arguments sake "Why were there robots at the start of the movie, why wouldn't they just get more robots?" and it's because they just fucked with the storyline, and were just shoehorning so many characters into the movie, they just thought "Fuck it, put them there, doesn't matter, they'll be happy to see them wherever", and then talking about where they should have been, They had so many characters that they didn't name, and so many characters they named but didn't show. It's a glorious clusterfuck. Oh god, I'm gonna be insufferable haha. June said of the first movie "This movie irritates me!" and this is nice, gentle, kind June. The second will be insanity, I'm genuinely concerned for Jason's well being if he sees Annihilation.

Ah shit, that Mortal Kombat: Annihalation episode's gonna be a bitch...
-
And that's the year 2016 drawn to a close in the HTDGM universe. Been an interesting one. We had perhaps my favourite all time episode with the "Bloodsport" episode, had the listenership on the brink of turning on each other over the "Can't Stop The Music" episode, which then was brought back around over the Coconut debate. No Sharknado episode because they've driven the joke into the ground and I still haven't gotten the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation episode. So, I'm looking forward to next year. Just, for me, do episodes for Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and Ready to Rumble, just for me to lose my shit with corrections and omissions in a veritable nerdgasm smorgasboard of enthusiasm.

Actors who are underrepresented on the show

Steve Austin. Even though I love the guy, been a fan of his for 25 years, my all time favourite pro-wrestler, host of my favourite podcast, hosts one of my favourite TV shows right now, some of his movies, no words for them, I'll watch them because he's in them. Even on his own podcasts, he says they're pieces of shit, even recently when he had his wife crying with laughter talking about the wig work in his movie "The Stranger", which he said "Would have been good if it was made for $20 million, but was made for about $500,000" But, he's been in movies with luminaries like - Steven Seagal (Maximum Conviction) - Danny Trejo (Recoil) - Dolph Lundgren (The Package) - Adam Sandler (The Longest Yard/Grown Ups 2) - Eric Roberts (The Expendables/Hunt To Kill) - Vinnie Jones (The Condemned) He was in a movie with Walton Goggins before Walton Goggins was in the Tarantino movies But, I think the most likely candidate would be "Tactical Force", an Action-Comedy starring Austin and Michael Jai White as members of a bungling SWAT team who are sent out for extra training in a Warehouse. However, they end up in the wrong warehouse and end up in a hideout for a crime syndicate. Shouldn't be a problem for a SWAT team right?! Well, here's the issue, they only have blank ammunition! -

Just watched Bad Moms, really enjoyed it, and I love Katheryn Hahn in everything she's in. -

If there is some form of higher power, he really does have a fucked up sense of humour. Has a guy famous for singing the line "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. But the very next day, you gave it away" die from Heart Failure, the day after Christmas. It's a cruel irony. I've been awake for 20 minutes, must have seen about 30 jokes about it. -

I think it's time to start referring to Jason as "The People's Champion" Jason Mantzoukas. -

My reaction when June announced the "What the fuck did I just see?! Moment" -
Another one which you can find on Netflix is the Billy Corben's documentary, Dawg Fight (2015). It tells the story of Dhafir "Dada 5000" Harris, who runs a prominent bare-knuckle fighting promotion in Miami, the same region that gave the late Kimbo Slice his start. I can't find the trailer for it, and I doubt anyone would want any of the fight clips on here. But give it a watch, it's fascinating, particularly the community aspect of it all.

13 Assassins (2011) is an absolute must watch
-
It's incredible, especially if you watch "Beyond The Mat" beforehand, where you see him wresting in high school gyms. After that was filmed, he took part in the infamous "Heroes of Wrestling" PPV, which is considered the absolute worst show in wrestling history, it included former World Champion, Yokozuna half way through his attempt to break the world record of Heaviest Pro Wrestler Ever, and was weighing close to 800lbs, matches where the wrestlers didn't even know who was winning, but most importantly, it had absolute rock-bottom Jake Roberts Jake was absolutely shitfaced, included things like: - A nonsensical rambling promo where he seemingly didn't understand the rules of Blackjack - Started making his entrance, changed his mind, walked to the back, but then changed his mind again and walked to the ring - Walked up to a woman sitting at ringside, grabbed her hands and made her rub his chest - Took the snake which he carried in a bag out, held it to his crotch and acted as if he was masturbating Baring in mind, that happened in 1999, three years prior, he was in the WWF and they fired him because he was too much of a fuck up. So to go from that to the end of The Resurrection of Jake the Snake is incredible.
-
Also, you have to see "The Resurrection of Jake The Snake" on Netflix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmnU8o4nWXo If you've seen The Wrestler, that whole thing was based upon Jake "The Snake" Roberts and his descent from being one of the most popular wrestlers in the world, to losing everything to alcohol and drug abuse, it had gotten to the point where other wrestlers were running a pool to guess when Jake was gonna die. It tells the story of Diamand Dallas Page reaching out to him, and starting him on his recovery to getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and helping out fellow wrestler Scott Hall along the way.

I can't recommend Les Intouchables (2011) enough. It's loosely based on a true story of Driss (Omar Sy), a petty criminal who has just been released from prison. who walks into an interview for a position as a carer for quadraplegic millionaire, Phillipe (Francois Cluzet) so he can claim his jobseekers allowance, only to be given the job. Despite him having no qualifications, and nobody really wanting a thief living in a mansion with a quadraplegic millionaire. Genuinely, one of the most feel good movies you can imagine, beautiful story of friendship.

It's alright, I'm calling myself an asshole, bit of self-depreciating humour... and I am an asshole, I openly laugh at kids who drop ice creams. I actually enjoy this song -

As one of the assholes who didn't like that episode on this site, I'd rather it be Nicole Byer, she was delightful in the Bloodsport episode, and her talking about a dick game in that movie, her take on the swimming pool sex scene would be a must listen for me.
