  1. I can imagine this baby totally rebelling against it's parents and becoming the humourless CEO of an oil company or something "If I catch any of you making any so called 'jokes' you'll be out on your arse faster than you can say 'and scene'!"

P.S Screw you spell check, humour has an 'u' in it! Death to America!

EDIT: Wow, I just can't get my vowels right! It's 'and scene' not 'end scene', and in Britain we add a 'u' to humour not an 'o'. Yeesh.

  2. ATTENTION MATT BESSER

I am more than willing to debate John Gemberling on the topic of Zoophilia, aka bestiality. I for one would like to know why he is so pro-animal fucking. I don't see the harm in joking about it (the last episode was hilarious) but he seems truly serious. What kind of pet genitals does he dream of @gemberlicking? I have pretty strong feelings that it is not ok to rape an animal, so I think I could do well on the show.

Bring it on, John! Will you convince me to take out the lube and rub Beggin Strips on my scroat to get my dog in the mood? Or will you see the light and keep your pony-human fantasies locked in the dark recesses of your subconcious?

    .

Big fan of Equus by the way.

Do you think it's okay to kill and eat an animal? Just sayin'.

I'm a vegetarian AND I haven't put my penis in any non-human vaginas (although assholes are another story, am I right guys? But seriously I haven't had sex with any animals), so I am at least consistent.

  3. I live in Maine. I'm not from Maine, but if I'm outside of Maine and people axe me where I'm from I say, "I'm from Maine"... So, I'm conflicted.

The Hodgman/PFT combo made for some great referential humor.

When people axe me where I'm from, I normally just go to the hospital.

    BOOM! Typo humour!

Of course there are, and it usually costs $50 extra if you want them to do it with a German accent.

    Hint: I do.

It's IMPOSSIBLE for someone to wipe something, feces or otherwise, with a German accent, or any other accent for that matter!

I have discovered you in your outrageous lie, what do you have to say for yourself?

  5. Neil! If you read this just know that if you came to my school and did an improv class I would eat that up! I promise you we're not all horrible!

Wow, I was working at the same time as listening to this one the first time I heard it, and I never put it together that Rick Faber was just a conglomeration of all the teens who've ever been a dick to Neil Campbell. (didn't hear his last episode either.)

Mind=Blown right now. I'm re listening with my full concentration, and it's SO MUCH FUNNIER.

  6.

    It's not a competition.

Also we did have the black and white minstrel show until 1978.

I get what you're saying, we've probably made some more progressive moves before the U.S, we have less segregation here, but trying to say all this stuff just comes across like you're trying to say we're better than America, which is a dumb thing to be trying to prove. It's just not a fair comparison for a number of reasons.

I said "wins" mainly to be kind of tongue in cheek, because obviously there's no tournament of tolerance or anything, there's nothing to win. I suppose that wasn't really very clear.

Ehhhh, I should probably just go back and edit my comment.

But again, I stand by my opinion that the UK is just more tolerant of homosexuality than America. So yeah, in that respect the UK is 'better' than America. Better is probably the wrong word for it, though. I'll go and edit that too!

  7.

I only pointed that out as I doubt anyone who wasn't those three things combined could have such an idyllic view of the UK.

Also stop saying "the UK wins at" because it promotes complacency. I don't agree with you either regarding homophobia. New York State and others have granted gay marriage months ago.

I absolutely don't think there is NO racism in the UK or anything. As you say, the rise of UKIP is a testament to that. I said "wins" mainly to be kind of tongue in cheek, because obviously there's no tournament of tolerance or anything, there's nothing to win. I suppose that wasn't really very clear.

Anyway, the UK IS more tolerant of homophobia, (Please don't take this away from me, it's all I have left!) which I put down not to any particularly good thing the UK is doing, seeing as the rest of Europe is similar in attitudes to the UK, but the really high religiosity in the US.

The UK beats the US in polls of whether gay marriage should be legal, and whether gay relationships are okay. I can link you that stats if you want, but a quick Google is all it takes.

EDIT: And the UK just legalized gay marriage for the whole country.

  8.

Woah hold on there. Have you lived in the USA?

As a brit that has lived in the states I cannot agree to this. I'm a Londoner originally, and I've lived in rural england too, and in the states - they are equally racist.

Additionally the UK is a *far* more mono-racial society than the states - which usually means there's more ignorance about other types of people.

Sorry but I can't tolerate the "UK is less" argument as it's so patently untrue. Don't forget the EDL and the recent UKIP successes.

*edit - let me guess, you're an English White Male?

Yes, I'm white, but it's quite easy to guess that, seeing as 85% of British people are. I'm also English, but since I said "I live in the UK" in my post that's also easy to guess. And I'm male, although that's a fifty fifty shot, and doesn't have much to do with racism.

I didn't want to get into a contest about "who's the most racist", although I probably shouldn't have posted that the UK is less racist if that was my intention! The reason I said it, I think, is because all the times I've looked at Jim Crow in school has negatively affected my view of the US. I really have no idea who is more racist. Thanks for making me realize that.

However, I will say that the UK wins on homophobia.

EDIT: The last sentence is supposed to be a half joke! There's no way to win homophobia! Sorry for misjudging that line.

  9. I live in the UK and can be safe in the knowledge that the US is probably more racist than we are.

(seriously, you guys had Jim Crow in the 60s while we were fucking in a field somewhere listening to the Beatles on our portable gramophones!)

I think Shariq comes off as a petty person hurling insults at anyone that objected to him, and that has nothing to do with his personal views on anything. Just his incredibly obnoxious and rude forum behavior.

That said, I hope "the monkey in to a girrafe was the biggest stretch" was referring to the girrafes neck!

I've heard of creating an account just to shit on an episode, but creating an account just to shit on a poster? Now that's true dedication to being (tom) petty!

  10. Hilarious episode from start to end. Honestly up there with the Lennon/Jessica/Mantzoukas ep, the Walsh/Roberts/Husky ep and the other top notch ones.

At no point did he say he 'loved' it, and he wasn't even really advocating it. He was just trying to explain his thoughts on it, and having seen a few videos he probably has the most experience in the subject.

I've honestly had the same conversation maybe 2 times in my life, and I side more with Gemberling on the subject than the other comedians.

    1. To clarify: I have never been, nor will I ever be involved in any such act. I'm not an advocate of legalizing it, and most people who do it are no doubt 'slightly off' in the head.

    2. I think it's much more okay when an animal is the one doing the fucking. They are put in the position to do it sure, but they're the ones doing it. Fucking an animal is way worse, because like everyone said, "how can you really know they want it?"

    3. But then think about a farmer having a full arm, up to the shoulder inserted into a cow to artificially impregnate it. There's no way your dick is bigger than a farmer's arm. Assuming the animal is over a certain size, you really won't bother it... Even though I still think it's the worst of the two options.

    4. Snakes, eels, and all that weird shit in Japanese porn is wrong in my opinion. None of those things are actually a part of sex, interested in having sex with some person, or getting anything out of it (other than probably death).

    5. Then there was Gemberling's point about, "Is it really any worse than making an animal work for humans all day?" Think about it, is sucking off an ox really worse than making it plow an entire field? Or worse than a pony getting humiliated and walking in a circle at a carnival or kids' birthday party? A blowjob vs. manual labor. Which would you take?

I just went down a weird rabbit hole there...

"Can I kill this cow and eat it's corpse?"

    "Sure, go ahead."

    "But can I fuck it?"

"NO, what if the cow feels bad?"

I never really got that logic...

  11. Felt like the podcast soup needed some character comedian spice, but it was still pretty funny. I think Marc MaRON is better at Marc MaRON style interviews than Scott.

(I feel really self conscious because I get pissed at another commenter for being negative about an episode. Hopefully this is kind of constructive, though.)
