FYI: Looks like NPR has the album available to stream from here, and it sounds great: http://www.npr.org/2015/08/26/433482215/first-listen-diane-coffee-everybodys-a-good-dog

Just finished the first segment as I got to work and had to immediately post about Diane Coffee's song before the first break. WOW! This kid's got chops. Great vocals! I hear Bowie in the guitar ("Rock n Roll Suicide) and maybe a little Jeff Buckley in the voice. I'm definitely gonna check out his new album, and he's coming to my town in a few weeks on a Friday, so I got that goin' for me - which is nice.

Vincent E. L. the Earwig Linguist - Comedy Bang De-Bang Diggity Plugs!
Bernard_Shakey replied to VincentEL's topic in "Plugs" Theme Song Submissions
I liked it a lot too. It's kinda long but might just be good enough to make it on the show. -
Unfortunately, dear listeners, this episode of Comedy Bang Bang will not contain any plugs. Why, you ask? Because they're all in my butt!

FYI: Scotty used this one on the premium Comic-Con ep, congrats! His delivery was really good too. -
Do yourself a favor and listen to Matt Gourley's other podcasts; Superego, James Bonding, and Pistol Shrimps Radio. All of them are terriffic. Then look up his various guest appearances on shows like Star Wars Minute, Spontaneanation and more. P.S. I'm Matt Gourley.

Now there really is a Pro Version! (only $4.99 a month)
Bernard_Shakey posted a topic in Hollywood Handbook
Interesting. Anyone wanna speak on that? -
KP, Midroll survey results show 52% iPhone, 26% Android. http://awesome.midroll.com/ Where according to this article: Android remains the top smartphone platform in the country with 51.6% share of the market, slightly down from the 52.4% it had in the month of March. On the other hand, iOS' share was up from 42.6% to 44.1%. http://www.gsmarena....-news-13444.php #UTalkinStatsToMe

Got a link, bro? -
I've purchased a lot of bonus eps of CBB and Superego in the past, but I don't think I've ever spent $60 in one year. I'll probably wait until the Android app is available and then sign up for premium anyway, mostly because I love Earwolf and I do believe that "the new model will allow Howl to produce and distribute original exclusive shows in experimental formats." What Adam Sachs says in this article is compelling. (Just don't shelf the classic eps Earwolf. Keep 'em all available without a subscription.) http://www.fastcompany.com/3049750/most-creative-people/is-howl-the-netflix-of-podcasts-weve-been-waiting-for "What we were looking for is a way for us to continue to evolve the medium," says Midroll CEO Adam Sachs. "One limiting factor is that if you want to create a viable podcast, you really need to create a show that is long running, has a cost structure where the costs can stay relatively low and you can do 30-50 episodes per year, build up an audience, get ad sponsorships. And that's great, we built a successful business based on that. But we see big opportunity for more premium content or more experimental content, or working with talent that otherwise wouldn't commit to doing 50 episodes per year if we could create a subscription service." Experimenting with format, Sachs says, has allowed Midroll to commission exclusive content without committing to deliver a minimum number of episodes. "We have documentaries that are a single episode of an hour and five minutes long, and there is only going to be a single episode," he says. "You could never afford to make an audio documentary that was just an hour long because you would never be able to monetize that with ads."

I agree that the feeling is kinda a let down due to the fact that they say that only the last six months of shows will be available, although as of right now it looks like they are all still downloadable. If they had launched this without that restriction I would feel a lot better about it. . From the Howl app page: https://itunes.apple...d984343503?mt=8 "Listen instantly by downloading or streaming. Favorite shows you love so you know the instant new episodes are available. Read the latest tweets from hosts and listeners, view behind-the-scenes photos, and discuss shows in the forums. ALL OF EARWOLF AND WOLFPOP - Stream and download all Earwolf and Wolfpop podcasts that have been released in the past 6 months." . I would assume the premium would also include downloading but I wonder what's to stop someone (not me ) from joining the free trial and downloading all the bonus shows I can, and then canceling my membership.

My favorite lineup evah! Couldn't this whole ep just be these guys coming up with new murder mystery, tv show ideas, based on throw away phrases/off hand remarks.

I just started this ep, but seeing how it was brought up in "I Love Films", I find it necessary to repost this video I made a long time ago,way back after ep 11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGv4Nh1N9Mo -
OMG! At 39 minutes, Scott says something about a girls pussy being kosher and someone says she has Gefilte-pussy, I almost choked. Good line. That is all.

EPISODE 8 - Scott Aukerman, Brian Huskey, Michaela Watkins: LIVE from UCB-Sunset
Bernard_Shakey replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Womp It Up!
Although Andy wasted no time starting a new one - just as crazy, with Joe Bongo/Jimmy Bongos. -
Poor Andy Daly. The guy comes on with a nice new character, fresh off of a Womp it Up ep, and Scott and Jason have nothing better to do then drag him down into the mire. Try as he may, to keep his character aboveboard, these two sickos can't help but turn Joe Bongo into a sadistic serial killer, and loved every gosh darn second of it. I don't even know how I could have thought that this would turn out any differently. You put these three in a room and you're gonna get comedy gold, and a hundred percent certainty that Andy Daly's charac will end up being a sociopath. Well done, boys!
