  1. There's nothing out there that is more of an enigma than Hawk Jones. This movie is ape shit crazy and needs to be formally reviewed. I guarantee you that this movie will blow your minds with it's hilarity and all child cast, yes that's right an All Child Cast. Unfortunalty the only place that you can get the movie currently is at www.hawkjones.info/ For some reason they just took it off of Amazon Instant Video (that's how I watched it), but the DVD is said to be even more bonkers with it's 'Anniversary cut'. The premise from Rotten Tomatoes: "Hawk Jones was an interesting attempt to do to the detective-story genre what Bugsy Malone did to the big-budget musical. This spoof of the noir mystery melodramas of the 1940s is enacted entirely by children. The delightfully named Valiant Du Hart plays Hawk Jones, hired by an adolescent femme fatale to locate a few missing items and people. The youthful cast does a nice job parodying the usual Bogart, Greenstreet and Mazurki types that usually populate this sort of fare. Hawk Jones is a little too thin to be spread over 88 minutes, but kids will probably have a good time." www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hawk-jones/ Check it out!
