EPISODE 7 - A UFC Weigh-In
ieatpants replied to JulyDiaz's topic in SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins
look friends, let's get one thing straight: the Cuyahoga River runs through Cleveland -- Cincinnati is located next to both the Licking River and the Ohio River. in conclusion, Licking. -

oh man, this is great. plus i love the background noises at about 34min -- there are some obvious benefits to recording this somewhere where, you can, um, have a smoke. ... "Hamburglar? Hamburglar plays drums." quote of the year. -
i think this is the first body rap. and i had to come back to search for it after seeing Kyle doing the body rap on Inside Amy Schumer (season 3, episode 2). just brilliant.

mary holland was channeling a bit of susan windchime -- wonderful. tom green was very... tom green-ish. he is like some sort of canadian shocking disc jockey.

yesss "i'm a woman" kills me everytime -
obviously you are referring to the attractiveness of the personalities of all the guests (and host) -- otherwise, what kind of monster would you be if you mentioned jarles' fantastic suit and perfectly coiffed mustachio -- or even Bitsy's Boo's perfect teeth?!? just kidding, i would bone all the people on the this ep, in one big writhing mass of flesh, no less.

EPISODE 19 — Scott Aukerman: A Lil' Dab'll Do Ya'
ieatpants replied to JulyDiaz's topic in With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus
so, Dabney is 96? and his first 366 days alive included a leap year... so he was born in late 1918 or early 1919. luckily 1920 was in fact a leap year, so... the only way this makes sense is if he was born between march 1 and march 27, 1919. Dabney, your math checks out. happy belated birthday bro.- 64 replies

wow. there's no reason to get all aggro. (capital f? jeez) i was defending a guy for bonding with his kids over weird al... now i just feel dirty.

obviously you should like whatever kind of music that you like. but for what or whose (whom's?) sake music is made seems irrelevant... especially to your bigger point -- which is (i think) that fans of comedy music are hipsters and/or are self righteous? i don't even know if that's what you're trying to say. all i do know is that if someone wants to listen to solely musical comedy and nothing else, they should be able to do that and enjoy it and it's not really fair of you to judge them for it. personally, i love weird al, but like most people, i also listen to other artists, who generally don't sing parodies. regardless of whether or not a song is funny or not, it's definitely real music, and it occasionally makes me feel inspired, sad, happy, or something else entirely.

you love "real music" you say?

i simply can't believe i'm the first to do this:
