Sadly enough for JCVD, it was one of his better films of the time and it has to be said that the movie was pretty entertaining and the effects were also pretty cool for the era.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
stellamarch16 replied to NeilMiddleton's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
The movie is bad, but it did not kill Sean Connery's career. It's just that Connery thought he was too old to act in films and gradually retired. I have read that he is still offered roles, but keeps turning them down. -
Demolition Man was amazing for it's time and a really entertaining film, I don't think it deserves to be made fun of.

Yup, Cage movies a serially bad, but are entertaining, but also make for great podcast. I think many scenes from Con Air are worth making fun of.

Yes, not doubt the movie is absolute nonsense and is nothing more than typical Hollywood trash, which was made to cater to the masses rather than the serious cinema lover.

Well, I don't know if Bullet To The Head is bad enough for a podcast, but sure it was a pretty disappointing film and I am really beginning to feel sorry for Stallone because I like the guy.

This movie would be just perfect for podcast. I mean what do you expect when a chimpanzee is the star of the film, but kids even today enjoy this film.

Wow!! I didn't know that Cannonball had sequels, just goes to show what lengths Hollywood would go to, once it faces creative bankruptcy.

Double Team (1997)

Yup, the movie was another low point in Mickey Rourke's career and what else can you expect, when you have been given the third billing behind screen legends like JCVD and Dennis Rodman.- 11 replies

Yup, the movie is absolute crap and I was shocked that someone as talented and legendary as Bill Murray even agreed for such a movie. And yeah, it would make for really great podcast.
-
Come on the movie was great and wouldn't at all be a good idea for a podcast. In fact, most people you meet would say that it's a great film. After all everyone's romantic at heart :-)

I agree, it isn't at all a good idea for a podcast because it's too good a movie for that.

Dude!! you think Gattaca is a bad film?? Wow!! I think you are the first person I have come across, who feels this. I think it's one of the best films ever.

Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991)

Yes, absolutely true, this movie saw the beginning of the downfall of Mickey Rourke's movie career, until The Wrestler managed to resurrect it. -
I agree with you and in fact there was an 8 year gap, but what I meant was that because such a concept had worked before they thought it would work again. Frankly, it commercially did.
