You might just like his You Made It Weird episode with Pete Holmes. Eric is simultaneously a bat shit insane and very grounded man.

I can't believe that in the discussion of it being long and also very skinny Scott missed the opportunity to call it a manchanical pencil
-
I love how Scott could not stop calling Todd "she" "I hate sleeping cause I have to dream about my shitty laugh"

The only way I can make it work in my mind is if he was a security guard of a suit store. And his uniform must also be a suit.

I really hope we get the trifecta of HDTGM and get Scheer on the show next week.

This upset me so much. I watched the credits in their entirety to see if there was an answer to the floating elephant and thERE WERE NO ANSWERS

The Christmas dance recital in the beginning of the movie was entirely crazy. Not only did it have no impact on the plot, but the logic of it makes no sense. Who are these kids? Does this movie posit that a toy factory puts on an annual Christmas dance recital? Do parents drive out to the middle of these hills to leave their kids at a factory to get dance lessons?

That scene also does a lot in the crushing of child like innocence that was supposed to the good in this movie. At one point there's a toy (a bear maybe?) that gets its head blown up by a missile and another toy comes up to it and (hugs?) it. In that moment I actually felt grief for the death of a wind up toy, this movie did some weird things.
-
Here's a question about SandwichBot Was that necessary? Like thinking back on the movie, there was no real reason for her to be a robot. Had we left out her head getting blown off, the movie would have stood perfect well with a character who's just kind of off and still very child like. It'd be weird, but it would have fit with the rest of this garbage heap of a movie. It's just so crazy to me how many weird non-plot-critical things were shot, put in the movie, and got approval from people higher up.

Edit: disregard. My reply came way too late

Kind of upset June couldn't be there for this one, this seems like the perfect movie for her and her brand of insight. Was I the only one thoroughly creeped out by the canned laughter in the dad's coffin? Like before it was revealed to be a toy the creepy laughing coming from the coffin was something out of a horror movie, and everyone thought it was hilarious!
-
I believe June and Casey Wilson also just signed a deal for a new show.

I can hear the insane music in my head just watching this GIF. HOO-HA. HOO. HA. HOO-HA. HOO. HA.

I just finished watching the movie and I really need to talk about that elephant balloon for a second. In the credit sequence it was flying around like a balloon but was very clearly being held up by a guide wire. And why was it just flying around? The nonsense of that all seemed to be an accurate symbol for how batshit this whole movie was.

I'm so glad I ditched class tonight for this one. Great ep!

Oh don't even get me started on the long list of great films I never saw as a child/teen (not by force or choice, just never saw them). This includes, but not limited to: Jurassic Park movies, Back To The Future movies, Top Gun, The Godfather movies, Shawshank, Jaws, Forest Gump, etc.
